Newsbusters: On PBS, NPR Legal Reporter Claims Hunter Plea Deal 'Somewhat Harsher' Than Usual
Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to federal charges of tax fraud and felony gun possession, which the media dismissed by portraying President Biden as a grieving father who deserves empathy, not Republican accusations of a lenient plea deal. Guest Carrie Johnson from NPR claimed that Hunter's plea deal was even "somewhat harsher" than usual. However, critics point out that Hunter's scandals and possible business undertakings in China and Ukraine present a threat to President Biden's administration, especially with recently released text messages. The media hopes that Hunter will no longer pose a political threat.
Fox News: Trump ties latest Hunter revelations to Biden inaction on China's Cuba spy base: 'Bigger than Watergate'
Former President Donald Trump linked new revelations about Hunter Biden’s business dealings to President Biden’s inaction over China’s efforts to build a spy base in Cuba. Trump spoke at the Faith & Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority gala in Washington D.C. and reacted to recent claims that Hunter Biden was named in a 2017 WhatsApp message to put pressure on a CEO. Trump tied these revelations to what he said was a lack of action by Biden over reports that China is moving to build a spy base in Cuba. He described Biden as a "compromised president" and suggested that Biden’s policies were being influenced by past business dealings.
Hunter Biden's attorney attacked the IRS whistleblower revelations in a statement while the Biden administration has downplayed the report that China and Cuba have reached a secret agreement for an eavesdropping facility to allow the Chinese to scoop up electronic communications. Biden this week got into hot water with China when he referred to President Xi Jinping as a "dictator" when arguing that the leader was upset when a Chinese surveillance balloon was shot down over the U.S. earlier this year. Trump said he would "drop the hammer" on China if they refused to scrap the proposed base, with tariffs unlike anything that China's ever seen before.
Red State: Ted Cruz: Time to Impeach Biden, Evidence of Obstruction Against Garland
Republicans are pushing for the impeachment of President Joe Biden due to allegations of corruption involving his son, Hunter Biden. Sen. Ted Cruz is leading the charge, claiming that a WhatsApp message provides direct evidence of Joe Biden abusing his government power to enrich his son and himself. Cruz accuses the Department of Justice of obstructing the investigation into the matter, and is calling for a hearing with DOJ officials and the IRS whistleblowers to question them under oath. The Biden team has been criticized for their handling of the situation and for attempting to shift the goalposts.
Red State: WATCH: Defiant LGBTQ Marchers Chant: 'We're Here, We're Queer, We're Coming for Your Children'
LGBTQ activists in New York City marched and chanted "We're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children." This is in line with what leftists, including Joe Biden's Democrat Party, want to force their radical ideology down other's throats. The activists gathered in Tompkins Square Park for an event before they marched through the Village and ended at the Stonewall Inn.
Breitbart: Stefanik Credits Trump for Ending Roe: ‘Thank Goodness for His Strong Nominations’ to SCOTUS
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) praised former President Donald Trump's contributions to the pro-life movement in a speech at an event hosted by the Susan B. Anthony (SBA) List. Stefanik also previewed Congress's forthcoming federal pro-life initiatives. SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser echoed Stefanik's praise of Trump, calling him "the most pro-life president we've ever had," and expressed hope to hear of his plans for the future.

The Epoch Times: Wagner Mercenary Chief to Move to Belarus, Not Face Prosecution for Rebel March: Kremlin
Head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, will move to Belarus as part of a deal to end his attempted coup against Russia’s military leadership. The Wagner Group, officially known as PMC Wagner, is a Russian paramilitary organization that was first identified in 2014 when it backed pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

Fox News: James Webb Space Telescope diminishes possibility of life on distant exoplanet
NASA researchers have used the agency’s James Webb Space Telescope to study the possibility of life on TRAPPIST-1 c, one of seven planets orbiting an ultracool dwarf star 40 light years away from Earth. The study found that the planet has little or no atmosphere, leading its researchers to conclude that it could not support life. The team monitored the planet’s atmosphere as it orbited on four occasions, seeking to determine how much atmosphere it had and whether it could contain rocks, water, carbon dioxide and other elements necessary for life. TRAPPIST-1 c is believed to have the key elements necessary for life, but the study found it did not possess an atmosphere that could sustain it.

The plan was agreed 10-to-0 without discussion. LA’s Department of Transportation has shown plans for further measures, including introducing speed humps at zones near schools, at a council meeting, where the implementation of the initial plan was approved.
