PJ Media: Garland: Questioning the Integrity of the Justice Department Is an Attack on — You Guessed It
Attorney General Merrick Garland is turning the Justice Department into a legal laundromat for the Biden regime and its cronies while doling out frame jobs for dissidents. Garland equates attacks on his corrupt Justice Department with attacks on American democracy, but internal whistleblowers are challenging Garland's claims of impartiality. Impartial justice is non-existent under Garland, making him a prime candidate for impeachment by House Republicans.
Daily Wire: House Republicans Subpoena Author Of Paper That Derided COVID Lab Leak Theory
The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic is investigating the origins of COVID and has subpoenaed documents and communications from Dr. Kristian Anderson, one of the authors of a paper that cast doubt on the lab leak theory. The article was widely criticized, and subsequent reports suggested the lab leak theory was plausible. The subcommittee hopes to obtain messages from scientists, including Anthony Fauci, to inform future legislation.
PJ Media: McCarthy Supports Expunging Trump Impeachments: What's at Stake Here Is Bigger Than Trump Alone
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy supports expunging both impeachments of Donald Trump, calling for a removal of the "disciplines.” McCarthy cited the lack of true facts and due process as errors. McCarthy's change of heart came after his past stance regarding Trump's responsibility for the Capitol attack. This move is a rare resistance to the Left's quest to demonize Trump and his supporters.
The Epoch Times: With Parliament on Summer Break, What Impactful Bills Still Haven't Passed?
The Liberal government passed its Online Streaming Act and Online News Act, but Bill C-21 (gun-restriction) and Bill C-48 (reforming the federal bail system) will be pending when Parliament reconvenes. Bill C-21 proposes defining and classifying "assault-style" firearms and enshrining a handgun-transfer freeze. Bill C-48 proposes expanding a reverse onus for firearms convictions. The Conservatives have criticized both bills. The government also introduced Bill C-50, the Canadian Sustainable Jobs Act, which aims to create green-energy jobs for oil and gas workers. The legislation has faced criticism from both the opposition and provincial premiers.

The Federalist: Media Can't Come Back From Covering Up Biden Corruption
Evidence of the current president's corruption and his son's tax crimes and bribery scandal with foreign nationals is being ignored by the corporate media. The media refused to investigate Hunter Biden's laptop and sold a lie about it being Russian disinformation. The administration and DOJ also refuse to acknowledge wrongdoing, and the press is only asking questions years too late.

Forbes: New Study Finds It’s Cheaper To Raise A Family Today Than In The Past, But It Could Be Much Cheaper
Inflation is a concern for most Americans, but a new study shows that despite common perception, the cost of raising a family has decreased, albeit with room for further improvement. The COTI index used by American Compass excludes taxes and homeowner costs, whilst including health insurance contributions twice. More free enterprise would help, rather than increasing regulation, taxes or subsidies.

After officers identified her in the parking area, Perez left and locked herself inside the apartment. When officers attempted to hop over a railing and remove a screen from an open window at the rear of the apartment, the woman ran to the window and struck it with a hammer. Flag And Cross: National Parks Need Stronger Protection To Safeguard Biodiversity, Study Shows
Strengthening the protection of existing parks and wildlife havens is crucial for safeguarding biodiversity, according to a new study. Approximately 70% of the 5,000 species analysed either have no apparent representation in protected areas, occur in protected areas that have been downgraded or downsized, or would be vulnerable to extinction from future land-use change. The study warns that parks become less effective when they experience downgrading, downsizing or de-gazettement. Protecting an additional 330 sq km of natural landscapes within Indonesia could safeguard the suitable habitats of 53 species lacking protected area coverage and with limited habitat.
