Newsbusters: Flashback: Big Media’s Big Double-Standard on SCOTUS Blockbusters
The media's portrayal of the Supreme Court's decisions depends on whether liberals or conservatives win. When liberals win, the media celebrate the "historic" final word, but when conservatives win, journalists lecture that the ruling has forever damaged the Court's credibility and legitimacy. In the case of Bush v. Gore, journalists cried foul, and branded the Court’s decision as political and many argued that the ruling has forever damaged the Court’s credibility and legitimacy. When ObamaCare was upheld and same-sex marriage was legalized, the media swiftly touted the correctness and authority of the Court in making these rulings, but when Roe v. Wade was overturned, the Court was widely criticized and the media portrayed it as a politically contaminated institution.

Forbes: Gary Neville And Jamie Carragher Show Wilful Blindness To Premier League’s Past
Former football rivals Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have both expressed concerns over the impact of the Saudi Pro League's acquisition of top players. The middle-eastern competition has already signed up players including N'golo Kante and Karim Benzema. Manchester City's Bernardo Silva being linked to a move to Saudi caused particular distress to Carragher who has railed against 'sports washing'.
The Premier League should put an embargo on local transfers to Saudi Arabia, according to Neville, until the integrity of the game can be determined. There are concerns that Saudi clubs may be acquiring excess talent from European clubs, which could create a new league to rival those in Europe. These concerns around 'sports washing', and the leveraging of soccer to launder the reputation of nations with questionable human rights records, have been criticised by commentators as hypocritical when considering some of the links between Premier League clubs and questionable investment.

Rush’s submersible, Titan, used a mix of carbon fiber and titanium, which can lead to rapid corrosion of the titanium if exposed to saltwater and an electrical connection between the two. The cause of the implosion is still not known. Rush also claimed that the craft was designed in collaboration with NASA, Boeing, and the University of Washington’s Applied Physics Laboratory, but each institution has since denied involvement.
