The New American: NYC Mayor Adams Shipped Migrants to Texas, Florida & Other Countries
NYC Mayor Adams Shipped Migrants to Texas, Florida & Other Countries
New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, has come under fire for transporting migrants out of his city to places as diverse as Texas, Florida, China, and other counties within the state. Despite previously criticizing Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for their policies of sending illegal migrants to Democratic strongholds, Adams spent approximately $50,000 between April 2022 and April 2023 for the resettlement of 114 migrant families.

The top destination for these relocations was Florida, with 28 families, followed by Texas with 14 families, and North Carolina with six families. Adams' actions demonstrate the ramifications of the Biden administration’s open border and the migration crisis, which has even led Democrats to mitigate the fallout by transporting migrants out of their jurisdictions.

The Right Scoop: BREAKING: Former Trump campaign official cooperating with DOJ on 2020 ‘fake electors plot’
BREAKING: Former Trump campaign official cooperating with DOJ on 2020 ‘fake electors plot’
A former Trump campaign official, Michael Roman, is reportedly cooperating with the Department of Justice special counsel's probe of Jan. 6th election interference. This could be the first case of a key player cooperating in the "fake electors" plan. The fake electors plan involved creating pro-Trump slates of electors in key swing states that Joe Biden narrowly won in 2020 to give then-Vice President Mike Pence a reason to challenge the certification of the 2020 Electoral College vote count during a joint session of Congress. As several people involved testified before a grand jury last week, Mark Levin and others have pointed out that there is nothing illegal with having alternate state electors. It is up to Congress to decide whether to accept or reject these electors. This phony investigation is just another farce.

Democrats attack 'extreme right-wing' Supreme Court on Dobbs anniversary, vow to 'fight back'
Democrats marked the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, taking aim at the "six far-right justices" who delivered the abortion ruling. Senators Jeff Merkley, Bob Menendez, Kirsten Gillibrand, Sheldon Whitehouse, Tammy Baldwin voiced their opposition to the landmark decision, calling it "extremist" and a serious threat to reproductive rights. House Rep. Pramila Jayapal vowed not to back down on the issue of abortion. The anniversary coincided with the gathering of thousands of pro-life advocates in the nation's capital to celebrate the high court's ruling last summer.

The Blaze: Federal judge dismisses transgender plaintiffs' lawsuit  seeking to change their sex on birth certificates
Federal judge dismisses transgender plaintiffs' lawsuit  seeking to change their sex on birth certificates
A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit seeking to force Tennessee to allow transgender plaintiffs to change their birth certificates to match their gender identity. The judge claims that ‘sex’ on birth certificates means ‘external genitalia at birth’ and any disagreements later in life are irrelevant. Lambda Legal, which brought the case, argued the policy could be dangerous and that equality and due process provisions had been violated.

Colossal Percentage of Transgenders Claim Hate Crime Victimhood: Survey
Trans adults in the United States report high levels of discrimination and harassment, including physical attacks, verbal attacks, and feeling unsafe in restrooms or locker rooms, according to a survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Washington Post. The study shows that one in four trans adults have been physically attacked because of their gender identity, and 64% have been verbally attacked. The Human Rights Campaign recently declared a "state of emergency" for LGBTQ+ people in the country, detailing over 75 anti-LGBTQ+ bills that have been signed into law in 2021 alone.

Nervous Russians in Rostov as Prigozhin marches on Moscow
Rostov-on-Don is under occupation after Yevgeny Prigozhin's private army, the Wagner Group, took control. Prigozhin declared war on the Russian MoD following Telegram reports that his men had been directly attacked by the Russian Army, leading to a military takeover of the city. The citizens of Rostov are being advised to stay at home and to not go out into the streets along the route of the group's movements.

Spectator USA: Prigozhin in the Kremlin is a daunting prospect
Prigozhin in the Kremlin is a daunting prospect
Civil war erupts in Russia as Wagner private military company takes over the southern command headquarters. Led by billionaire Yevgeny Prigozhin, Wagner troops move north towards Moscow, equipped with anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons. Putin warns of the possibility of a civil war, while crowds in Rostov-on-Don have been filmed giving Wagner troops water and sweets. Ordinary soldiers may be the key to this conflict. Prigozhin has long been calling for Russian society to be fully mobilized to crush Ukraine and turn Russia into a fascist Sparta.

Spectator USA: Will Putin be bested by Prigozhin?
Will Putin be bested by Prigozhin?
A former associate turned against Putin, launching a coup-style march for justice. Yevgeny Prigozhin, originally given a boost by Putin's patronage in the 1990s, has expanded his businesses massively on Kremlin contracts but it is his undeclared role running the Internet Research Agency during the 2016 US presidential elections, and then the Wagner mercenary group, which set him on a collision course with the Kremlin. A “march for justice” became a power move to impose his will on the government and anyone who supports the regime. Putin's personal failure to address the confrontation with Shoigu for months, coupled with his 24-hour delay in responding to this challenge, damages his legitimacy, the unity and morale of the security forces.

The Corner: Too Many Chefs: The Prigozhin Mutiny
The recent coup in Russia led by Yevgeny Prigozhin and his Wagner Group is a cause for concern. The group, known for its cult-like ideology and savagery, recruits from prisons and has been involved in conflicts across the globe. If Prigozhin were to gain control in Moscow, it could lead to a prolonged war in Ukraine and potentially destabilize Putin's regime. Even if Putin survives this crisis, his handling of Prigozhin has shown weakness and may lead to further challenges to his power.

Fox News: What to know about the FTC taking on Amazon Prime
What to know about the FTC taking on Amazon Prime
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is suing Amazon for illegally enrolling customers in Amazon Prime accounts without their consent and making it difficult for them to cancel their subscriptions. The FTC alleges that Amazon used "dark patterns" to trick customers into signing up for a Prime account, and that cancelling the subscription was made super difficult. The complaint says that Amazon was aware of its actions and failed to make significant changes. Amazon, however, denies the allegations and states that customers love Prime, the company makes it clear and easy to sign up for or cancel their membership, and that it continually listens to customer feedback to improve their experience.

The Epoch Times: 6 Most Harmful Sitting Postures, 2 Ways to Reduce Back Pain
6 Most Harmful Sitting Postures, 2 Ways to Reduce Back Pain
Improper sitting posture can cause long-term harm to the body, including back pain, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Zheng Yunlong, a spinal mechanics expert, identified six common harmful sitting postures, including hunching, lifting the legs while sitting, sitting on a low bench or the floor, half-lying and half-sitting, leaning one way while sitting the other, and sitting cross-legged. These postures can cause lumbar flexion syndrome, cervical spondylosis, and anterior pelvic tilt, resulting in spinal problems and bad posture. Zheng suggests sitting up straight, using supportive cushions, and choosing a sofa with an angled footrest to prevent incorrect posture. Training routines are recommended for calf and Achilles tendon stretches to prevent plantar fasciitis and make walking easier.

The Epoch Times: CDC Issues Alert After Measles Cases Increase Fivefold Ahead of Travel Season
CDC Issues Alert After Measles Cases Increase Fivefold Ahead of Travel Season
The CDC warns of an increase in measles in the US, with 88% of cases related to international travel. The first five months of 2023 saw five times as many cases compared to the same period in 2022, and many popular destinations have experienced outbreaks in recent years. Experts point to a decline in childhood vaccination rates, which may be the result of public distrust in health agencies due to the promotion of leaky COVID-19 vaccines. The WHO warns that the world is at risk of major measles outbreaks due to tens of millions of infants missing their vaccination. Healthcare professionals are urged to recommend the MMR vaccine to all unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated patients, and travelers are urged to check the Global Measles Travel Health Notice for essential health advice before departing.
