ProPublica published multiple stories accusing Thomas of ethics violations while receiving donations from groups pushing for his resignation. The organization also has Justice Alito in its sights after he wrote the majority decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. Tax documents show that The Sandler Foundation funded several left-wing groups that seek to oust Thomas and Alito, including pro-court-packing group Demand Justice and the American Constitution Society, which has called for criminal investigations into both justices.

Citizens are reported to be fleeing Moscow and Rostov-on-Don, and the Wagner Group's headquarters in Saint Petersburg has been raided.
