'He's a legend!' GB News hosts hail delivery driver after viral footage shows courier throwing bottles of water to stranded train passengers
A Just Eat driver has gained recognition for his efforts in helping stranded train passengers during a major service disruption on June 21. Footage shows him tossing bottles of water to those trapped in a stationary train affected by a fault, leaving around 1,800 passengers in extreme heat.

GB News hosts Tom Harwood and Emily Carver praised the driver as a "legend" for his quick response to the situation. Passengers experienced significant discomfort, with reports of being stuck for up to two hours without air conditioning. British Transport Police and London Fire Brigade were called to assist with the evacuation.

Le Monde: The challenges of a 'Pax Hebraica' in the Middle East
The challenges of a 'Pax Hebraica' in the Middle East
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined a vision for reshaping the Middle East during a visit to Washington in February 2023. By June, Israel's military actions against Iran's nuclear sites marked a significant shift in regional power dynamics, positioning Israel as a dominant force.

The aftermath of these actions has severely weakened the "axis of resistance" led by Iran, particularly following the October 2023 attack by Hamas, which discredited its leadership. Meanwhile, groups like Hezbollah and Iraqi militias remain inactive, reflecting the changing landscape of regional alliances and threats.

In the United Kingdom, a century of MI5 secrets are being revealed at the National Archives
An exhibition on MI5, the UK's domestic intelligence agency, is currently running at the National Archives in London until September 28. This is the first collaboration between MI5 and an exhibition, showcasing original documents and marking a significant step toward transparency for an agency that was not officially recognized until the 1990s.

Founded in 1909 to combat foreign espionage, MI5 began with just two employees and evolved into distinct branches for counterterrorism and foreign intelligence. The exhibition reflects a shift towards openness in an era where public trust is crucial amidst the spread of conspiracy theories.
