Aminata Bilkisu Kanu, the first woman to run for parliament from her district, is fighting to increase the country’s low levels of female representation. Previous research has shown that gender quotas, such as the one implemented in Sierra Leone, can increase diversity, experience and class, as well as shifting budget priorities. Liberty Nation: US Slips Into a Recession Based on Biden Criteria
The US economy is in trouble, with some economists suggesting it has either dipped into recession or is on the brink of doing so. Almost 40% of all cuts were in the tech sector, as a large number of companies sought to cut costs due to difficult market and economic conditions. Nevertheless, the future may hold more positive prospects, as 55% of employers in the information technology sector expect to create new positions in the third quarter, according to ManpowerGroup's Employment Outlook Survey.
