PJ Media: Hypocrisy on Parade: Sanctuary City NYC Spent $50K on Flying Migrants Back to Texas, Florida
Hypocrisy on Parade: Sanctuary City NYC Spent $50K on Flying Migrants Back to Texas, Florida
NYC Mayor Eric Adams’s administration reportedly bought $50,000 worth of plane tickets to fly 114 illegal aliens out to Texas, Florida, and South America from the city’s homeless shelter system or emergency facilities set up by the city’s public hospitals corporation. Adams’s $50,000 expenditure challenged the effectiveness of New York City as a sanctuary city, which proved incapable of sustaining its promise to offer protection to illegal aliens. More than half of the illegals are currently living in the NYC homeless shelter system or in emergency facilities set up by the city’s public hospitals corporation. Despite this, City Hall spokeswoman Kate Smart claimed, “We are not coercing people to leave, we are not suggesting or recommending locations, and we are not presenting any kind of false choice.” NYC publicly advertised itself as encouraging any and all migrants to come there; however, after the illegals arrived, New York City had to spend millions of taxpayer money on providing shelter, medical care, and legal services.

Red State: Biden Makes Weird Comment to Women, Still Can't Get Kamala's Name Right
Biden Makes Weird Comment to Women, Still Can't Get Kamala's Name Right
Joe Biden continues to make strange and incoherent gaffes, with a recent example being at a political event where he made a weird comment about women and high heels. Biden's history of inappropriate behavior towards women makes this even more concerning. Despite being in office for three years with Kamala Harris, he still mispronounces her name. Biden also coughed into his hand and then went on to shake hands and kiss members of the audience, showing a lack of responsibility during a time where COVID-19 is still a concern. This all puts the US and the world in deep trouble.

The Epoch Times: Biden Meets Pro-Abortion Groups on Anniversary of Roe v. Wade Reversal
Biden Meets Pro-Abortion Groups on Anniversary of Roe v. Wade Reversal
President Biden attended a pro-abortion group event in Washington DC, on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The event, hosted at the Mayflower Hotel, was one of several planned by the White House this week. Biden pledged to fight to restore Roe v. Wade’s protections and make them “once again the law of the land,” and warned that the Dobbs ruling has risked “the broader rights of privacy” for Americans. Three major pro-abortion organizations, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, NARAL: Pro-Choice America, and EMILY’s List, announced their support for Biden/Harris 2024 ticket.

The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has triggered state-level responses, with some states pushing for tighter abortion restrictions and others codifying additional protections for women seeking them. In the aftermath of the Dobbs decision, a black market for abortion pills has also emerged, which is helping people in states that have strict rules to self-manage their own abortions. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) has pledged to “fight like hell” to increase access to abortion and contraception nationwide. Conservatives are celebrating the decision, estimating that around 200,000 babies have been born in the past year that likely would have been aborted if the Supreme Court’s decision had not been made.

New Poll Shows Nearly Two-Thirds of Californians Thinking About Leaving the State
Over 60 percent of respondents in a recent survey conducted by Strategies 360 are unhappy with the high cost of living in California, with 40 percent considering leaving and 24 percent thinking about it. The reasons cited included economic uncertainty, expensive housing and living costs, public safety, and the state’s education system. Many have already left, with California losing over 800,000 people in the last three years according to data released by the state’s finance department. Affordability was the main reason cited for wanting to leave, and 27 percent said state policies that do not reflect their political views are also a factor.

Hunter Biden’s lawyer has a HILARIOUS defense of his CCP text message
Hunter Biden's lawyer defended his client's addiction as having "no connection to anyone in his family," in response to the release of text messages that suggest the involvement of Joe Biden in foreign business dealings. One text from Hunter Biden threatened the Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC China Energy with consequences from then-Vice President Joe Biden if they did not fulfill their "commitment." The statement by the lawyer seems to be an effort to shield the president from the implications of the text message.

Facebook, Instagram to Block News After Canada Adopts Content Fee Law
Meta will block news on Facebook and Instagram in Canada following the passing of the "Online News Act," forcing companies like Facebook and Google to pay fees to media outlets. Meta is conducting product tests which will end the availability of news before the bill becomes law. The aim of the act is to support the struggling Canadian news industry. Meta also faces a similar threat in California, where the proposed "Journalism Preservation Act" would force tech firms to pay publishers in the form of a "journalism usage fee." Meta has threatened to pull news content if the California bill becomes law.

Newsbusters: Brzezinski Rages about ‘Dangerous and Retrograde’ Dobbs Decision
Brzezinski Rages about ‘Dangerous and Retrograde’ Dobbs Decision
MSNBC's Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski spent over half an hour panicking about the effects of the Dobbs v. Jackson decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, and discussing her hatred for "the conservative court" with guests. She claimed that banning abortion was harmful to all women, especially those of childbearing age, and implied that denying women abortions would lead to sterilization. She also made many anti-men and anti-Republican statements.

The Epoch Times: ANALYSIS: New Report on Best and Worst States for Healthcare Misses Important Factors
ANALYSIS: New Report on Best and Worst States for Healthcare Misses Important Factors
Mississippi ranks the worst in healthcare access, quality, services, costs, and outcomes. Every state experienced COVID-19 deaths, which led to a nationwide decline in life expectancy and access to healthcare. Abortion bans and restrictions could also limit access to providers that offer important preventive health care like contraception and reproductive cancer screenings. Maternal mortality rates were as low as 9.6 per 100,000 live birth in California but higher than 40 deaths per live births in Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Mississippi. Black women had a higher maternal death rate compared to White women. Many pregnancy-related deaths are preventable when mothers receive care during and after pregnancy.

Watch: Shoplifter Blowtorches Plastic Security Measure and Is Openly Stealing Within Seconds
Shoplifting in major cities like New York and California has increased significantly, with organized gangs even using blowtorches to steal from stores. There appear to be no consequences for shoplifters, leading urban retailers to lock up even low-value products and require employees to be summoned for access. The increase in shoplifting has prompted some to wonder if this is just a fad influenced by liberal ideas about property crime or if it is a sign of the collapse of civilization. It's a far cry from when Rudy Giuliani was mayor of New York and subscribed to the "broken window" theory of urban decay.

Claims to have stolen hundreds of other organisations’ data too.

Wearable Robotic Arms For Humans Created By Researchers
Researchers at the University of Tokyo have developed Jizai Arms – wearable robotic arms that can be used by humans. The system comprises a base unit, to which up to six interchangeable arms can be attached, controlled by the user or remotely. The system was designed as a form of social interaction between wearers and was found to be so intuitive that users felt the loss of appendages when wearing them was over. Wearers’ reaction to the device was so positive that researchers suggested a future design objective might be to create a sense of individualised ownership.
