National Review: NYC Spent $50K Transporting Migrants to Florida, Texas, Abroad: Report
NYC paid $50,000 to resettle 114 migrant households in other states and countries, including South America and China, despite Mayor Eric Adams criticizing Republican governors for doing the same. Adams had accused Governor Ron DeSantis and Governor Greg Abbott of creating a "humanitarian crisis" by sending migrants up north. However, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office defended the resettlements by saying that they were helping people who wanted to reconnect with loved ones or communities.

Forbes: Could Trump Be Un-Impeached? GOP Starts Process To ‘Expunge’ Ex-President’s Record
Republicans are moving to expunge Donald Trump’s two impeachments from his record, with the introduction of a resolution by Trump allies Elise Stefanik and Marjorie Taylor Greene, labelling them as a “sham smear” and a “witch hunt” respectively. Uncertainty remains as to whether the House could essentially erase the Senate trial from Trump’s record, with some claiming it could be voted as moot but would have little impact, as an impeachment is traditionally irreversible. This measure follows a week of retaliatory measures in the House against Trump’s political nemeses, including the previously reported votes to censure Adam Schiff and initiate committee inquiries into impeaching Joe Biden.
PJ Media: MTG-Boebert Catfight? Not Quite
Lauren Boebert, a Republican congresswoman, has started impeachment proceedings against President Biden, alleging he has created a border crisis that has enabled child sex trafficking and has allowed millions of illegal aliens to pour into the US. Boebert's move drew criticism from fellow Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who had already filed articles of impeachment against the president. The pair reportedly had a heated exchange on the house floor, with Greene calling Boebert a "little bitch." Despite the infighting, Boebert used procedural tools to force a vote on her resolution and may have the advantage over Greene.
Fox News: New York Gov. Hochul greenlights abortion pill prescriptions for nonresidents
Democratic New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has signed a law allowing doctors to prescribe abortion pills to patients from states where the procedure is banned. Hochul said the measure would serve women living in states with bans. The law bars New York officials from cooperating with certain legal actions initiated in states where abortion is banned, such as arrests or extraditions.
The law protects doctors in New York who prescribe abortion pills to patients in states where the procedure is outlawed and has been signed by Gov. Kathy Hochul. New York already adopted protections for medical professionals who provide abortion care for patients travelling from states with bans or restrictions. The measure allows doctors to prescribe abortion pills to patients from states where the procedure is banned.
Flag And Cross: Watch: KJP Flounders as 5 Reporters Team Up to Corner Her on Hunter Biden Scandal
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced tough questioning from a group of reporters on Hunter Biden's plea agreement for tax and gun crimes. CNN's Jeremy Diamond asked about Hunter's attendance at a state dinner, to which Jean-Pierre responded that it was a personal family discussion and not uncommon for family members to attend events at the White House. However, Diamond pressed her further, causing frustrations to mount in the press room. Jean-Pierre declined to answer and eventually snapped at the reporters.
Washington Free Beacon: Hunter Biden's Lawyer Responds to Bombshell Texts: My Client Was Too Doped Up on Crack To Be Trusted
Hunter Biden's attorney claims that his verifiable words or actions threatening a Chinese businessman in a 2017 text have no connection to anyone in his family. The attorney's move to discredit his client is an effort to shield President Joe Biden from the implications of the message. Photos from Hunter Biden's laptop were found placing him at his father's house the day the message was sent, suggesting it is a blow to Joe Biden's repeated claims that he never discusses overseas business deals with his son. The White House refused to comment on the issue, but provided a statement claiming the President was not in business with his son.
Red State: White House Counsel Throws the Goalposts Off a Cliff With Carefully-Worded Response to Biden Shakedown Message

Red State: Former Divider in Chief Obama Tries to Politicize Sub Tragedy, Calls out 'Obscene Inequality' of News Coverage
Former President Obama criticized the media's coverage of the recent submersible Titan disaster compared to the capsized migrant boat off the coast of Greece, which left 700 dead or missing. He blamed the media for not devoting enough time to the boat tragedy, which was "indicative of the degree to which people's life chances have grown so disparate." He also suggested that fear-mongering by "right-wing" media is making Americans "fearful of each other." Some have criticized Obama for politicizing the Titan disaster and suggested that America can't solve the issue of migrant boats sinking halfway around the world.

The Imaginative Conservative: Puppy Dogs & Women Priests: Sentimentalism & Romanticism
Sentimentalism endangers not only individual emotions but society as a whole. Arguments and decisions based solely on emotions are prevalent, especially in today's society. Sentimentalism can be connected to other isms like utilitarianism and progressivism, resulting in nationalism, fascism, Nazism, and communism. The feud between Wagner's head and the military command has exploded into the open, with accusations of betrayal and insurrection. Military leaders are urging mercenaries to remain loyal amidst questions about the stability of Putin's regime. Prigozhin claimed that Russian leaders, but not Putin himself, led the country to war for reasons of corruption and vainglory, contradicting Kremlin's claims of a threat from Ukraine. The seriousness of the feud was apparent when senior Wagner-friendly generals took to issuing their own videos late at night. Tass explained that security measures have been strengthened in Moscow as armoured vehicles were deployed to the streets and security forces were seen in various cities.

Breitbart: Nolte: Disney Says 'Entirely Possible' Phoebe Waller-Bridge Takes Over 'Indiana Jones' Franchise

Waller-Bridge plays Helena Shaw, Indy’s goddaughter, in the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and spends much of the movie emasculating him. Many rumors have claimed that Waller-Bridge’s character would replace Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones by the end of the movie. If Dial of Destiny flops, Kennedy, who is seen as destroying franchises by her critics, may be asked to leave the company she is leading.

Flag And Cross: Star Trek-Style Device Detects Multiple Medical Tests Simultaneously
A new Star Trek-style device similar to a handheld scanner can perform multiple medical tests at once. The laser biosensor analyses a range of different particles simultaneously from viruses to DNA. Capable of detecting the barest presence of a specific virus, protein or antibody marker for a type of cancer, the technology could also help detect airborne chemical warfare agents. In experiments, the device detected a mixture of nanobeads across eight orders of magnitude, meaning it could detect single biomolecules and work over a wide range of concentrations. The team’s optofluidic biosensing technology is currently being commercialized by a medical device company and the researchers are working to adapt their methods to study molecular products to provide further insight into areas such as Alzheimer’s, other neurodegenerative diseases and child cancers.

Mexican authorities are investigating a video that appears to depict gunmen from a drug cartel forcing female bar hostesses to kneel on the floor in a mock execution and extorting money from them. The men are extorting "protection money" from the women, forcing them to lie on the floor as they state their demands. Drug cartels in Mexico are branching out into extortion, kidnapping and demanding protection money from all sorts of businesses, including immigrant smugglers.
The Jalisco cartel is one of the groups that have waged a bloody years-long turf war in the north-central state of Guanajuato, which has Mexico's highest number of homicides. Authorities there said Friday they are studying the video to determine if it's authentic, or where it was taped, noting they did not yet have any evidence it was taped in their state. Some organized crime groups are distributing stickers to show who has paid or not, making the extortion racket harder to avoid.

The move by Washington and Texas brushes against a $7.5 billion EV charging initiative from the Biden administration that requires the use of combined charging system connectors.
