Fox News: France shuts down climate activist group over violent protests
French authorities dissolve climate activist group Uprisings of the Earth (SLT) for frequently resorting to violence during demonstrations. The group condemned the shutdown as a violation of human rights, vowing to contest the decision in the French courts. Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg threw her support behind the group outside the Council of State in Paris and said, "This is about the right to protest, and this is about defending life." France’s Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin justified the decision, calling the group's supporters "eco-terrorism" after some activists showed "extreme violence against police forces."
National Review: Dobbs Turns One
One year since the Dobbs ruling corrected the lie of Roe v. Wade and restored the right to protect lives, laws in 23 states have likely saved tens of thousands of human lives. However, many blue states still allow abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy, and congressional Democrats seek to impose this policy nationally. Pro-life voters must support a presidential nominee who will not hurt Republicans down-ballot and pro-life elected officials must educate voters, make prudent compromises, and ensure hospitals act properly. While the task ahead is daunting, it is worth celebrating the tens of thousands of human beings who have been saved as a result of this ruling.

American Thinker: Barack Obama and his Connecticut social security number
A licensed private investigator claims Barack Obama has been using a fake social security number issued to a long-deceased person in Connecticut for most of his adult life, making him a felon. The use of someone else's personal identification for personal gain is illegal under the federal law. All the while, the Social Security Trust Fund has been financially looted to cover the government's expenses, leaving little when Obama and other Americans retire.
The Epoch Times: North Carolina Passes Bill Banning Biological Male Athletes From Competing on Girls’ Sports Teams
The North Carolina state House approved a bill that would ban biological males who identify as female from competing in girls’ middle school, high school, and college sports. The bill, known as the “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act,” requires athletic teams designated for females to be reserved for students of the female sex, based on reproductive biology and genetics at birth. The legislation also allows affected students and schools to file lawsuits for legal claims and damages. The bill will head to Gov. Roy Cooper’s desk to be signed, but he is expected to veto it.
Liberty Nation: Devon Archer Testimony Still Looms over Biden Family
House Republicans continue to investigate allegations of a pay-to-play scheme involving multiple members of the Biden family, including the president himself. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has secured a commitment from Devon Archer, a key witness with knowledge of many of Hunter Biden's business activities and connections to Ukrainian energy company Burisma, to testify. Archer was recently convicted of pension fraud and faces a year in prison. His testimony could provide further evidence of corruption and bribery involving the Bidens and potentially bring an end to the Biden presidency.
PJ Media: The Morning Briefing: Admit It Libs — Even You Wouldn't Want Hunter Biden Dating Your Daughter
The Biden crime family is getting away with their shady deals once again, as Hunter Biden receives special treatment due to his father's influence. However, the truth about their corruption and sleaze cannot be ignored. The Department of Justice has been accused of covering up investigations against the Bidens, leading to irreparable damage to the Republic.
The Epoch Times: DEI Comes to the State Department
The Biden administration is pushing for more diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives at the State Department, with plans to spend $76 million on the effort. However, there are concerns that prioritizing quotas based on race, gender, and ethnicity could lead to less qualified individuals being hired for important diplomatic positions. It is important for the government to address the root causes of underqualified minorities, such as the lack of quality education in many inner cities, in order to create a more diverse and qualified workforce.
American Thinker: That's the way that the law 'go'!
Jonathan Turley questions the reasoning behind Hunter Biden's seemingly lenient treatment amid the investigation of his tax counts and gun allegation. Hunter's case is looked upon with suspicion, with whistleblower allegations of "preferential treatment" stirring up concern. Furthermore, Hunter was given a pass despite seemingly violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The issue of unequal treatment and the media's loss of credibility are causes for concern.
Liberty Nation: Woke Corporate Network Is Far Tighter Than You Think
Large US-based multinational corporations are dedicated to supporting a radical agenda that aims to change existing social norms in Western nations through partnering with Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum and the United Nations to accelerate LGBTIQ+ equality and inclusion globally. One organization, Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), has successfully instructed corporations on how to pursue a progressive cultural agenda, with abortion and climate change two key issues ultimately connected to their action plan. Cecile Richards, then-president of Planned Parenthood, gave a keynote address at BSR's 2017 annual conference to executives from corporate behemoths about advancing women's empowerment and promoting patriarchy and got a standing ovation at the conclusion of her speech. The Epoch Times: US Sanctions Burma Defense Ministry, Banks Over Russian Arms Imports
The U.S. Treasury has sanctioned Burma’s Defense Ministry and two regime-controlled banks for their alleged roles in the junta’s weapon purchases from sanctioned entities in Russia. The sanctions targeted the Myanmar Foreign Trade Bank and Myanmar Investment and Commercial Bank, which were used by the junta for foreign currency exchanges and buying arms from foreign sources.
According to a report by United Nations special rapporteur Tom Andrews, the junta procured weapons and equipment from companies operating in Russia, China, Singapore, Thailand, and India and came to account for over $400 million of arms imports from Russia since the coup. The military regime ousted an elected civilian government led by Aung San Suu Kyi in February 2021, sparking protests and clashes between the army and ethnic minority insurgents in Burma. Since then, more than 3,600 civilians have been killed and nearly 1.5 million people have been displaced.

American Thinker: Is service dead in America?
Service in America is in decline and has been for some time, with factors including the rise in minimum wage, COVID, government policy on oil independence, inflation, societal change, business strategy change, and greed all contributing to this trend. While service cannot die as we still need to buy things from sellers, the decline has become more pronounced since COVID. Despite these challenges, businesses can still succeed by adapting to modern times through training, managerial style, pricing strategy, and setting high service standards. The common man still notices service levels and will choose where to spend money based on the quality of service received.

National Review: The Titan Disaster Shows the Allure and Terror of the Sea
The submersible Titan, with five souls aboard, is lost 1,700 feet from the bow of the Titanic. The voyages of exploration, adventure, and profit have motivated men to risk life and limb on the sea and under it, with no normal risk-benefit calculus. Today, the centrality of the seas to the modern world, economically and geostrategically, is often overlooked. The sea is both useful and hostile, as the implosion of the submarine Thresher and the ancient Greek epigram attest.

National Review: One Year Ago, Dobbs Gave New Life to the Pro-Life Movement, but We Can’t Quit Now
One year after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, tens of thousands of children are alive today because of the Dobbs decision. However, the Biden administration is actively working to increase the number of abortions and is attacking measures like the Hyde and Weldon amendments that protect life and conscience. The administration is even allowing dangerous chemical-abortion drugs to be mailed to women without doctor oversight, putting their health and safety at risk. Crisis pregnancy centers are also under attack by activist bullies. Those who stand for life must continue to work towards making abortion unthinkable, not just illegal.
The Epoch Times: Rural Australians Shortchanged $6.5 Billion in Health Funding, Report Finds
Rural Australians are missing out on nearly $850 per year in healthcare access compared to their city counterparts, according to a Nous Group report commissioned by the National Rural Health Alliance. The report found that from 2010 to 2021, government health funding for urban areas did not match that received by rural regions, with rural Australians being shortchanged by $6.5 billion in health funding. The National Rural Health Alliance has called for a place-based multidisciplinary model of primary health care that is tailored to the needs of local communities, as well as a national rural health strategy to streamline complicated and varied funding initiatives.

The Epoch Times: Texas DPS to Resume Partnership With Austin Police Next Month
The Texas Department of Public Safety is partnering with the City of Austin Police Department again after a temporary halt in their collaboration. The joint operation aims to improve safety and reduce crime, as well as providing faster responses to calls for help. The partnership faced criticism after statistics released by Travis County Attorney Delia Garza's office in April showed 9 out of 10 people arrested on misdemeanor charges were black or Latino. However, DPS Director Steven McCraw defended the work and said the new iteration of the partnership will pivot its deployment strategy and take council direction into account to ensure Austin policing values are addressed and reinforced.

Former MLB scouts, aged 55 to 71, have filed a federal lawsuit against the league and its teams citing age discrimination. The scouts claim that the league and its teams purposely prevented their re-employment between 2020 and 2022, used the coronavirus pandemic and analytics as pretexts to eliminate older scouts, and implemented discriminatory provisions. The lawsuit seeks class-action certification.
