Breitbart: Supreme Court: States Lack Standing to Force Mayorkas to Arrest Criminal Aliens
The Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit by Texas and Louisiana against the Biden administration's policy of not enforcing a federal law that requires the arrest of certain criminal aliens. Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote the majority opinion, stating that states lack standing to sue the federal government over the policy. Kavanaugh added that the standing calculus might change if the Executive Branch wholly abandoned its statutory responsibilities to make arrests or bring prosecutions. Justice Samuel Alito dissented from the court's 8-1 judgment, arguing that states do have standing in court under these circumstances.
Breitbart: SCOTUS Rules 7-2 to Uphold Law that Bans Encouraging Illegal Immigration
The Supreme Court upheld a federal law criminalizing the encouragement or inducement of illegal immigration as constitutional, overturning a lower court ruling. Justice Amy Coney Barrett, joined by six other justices, found that the law prohibits only intentional solicitation or facilitation of unlawful acts and does not violate the First Amendment. The case concerned a man who defrauded foreign nationals by promising them a pathway to citizenship through adult adoptions. He was convicted on several counts of fraud and inducing illegal immigration and had sought to have the latter conviction dismissed on First Amendment grounds.

Breitbart: Elise Stefanik, MTG Work to Expunge Donald Trump Impeachments
GOP Representatives Stefanik and Greene introduced resolutions to expunge former President Donald Trump's Articles of Impeachment. Stefanik's resolution aims to expunge Trump's January 6 impeachment by arguing that the Democrats failed to establish that he committed 'high Crimes and Misdemeanors', or that he engaged in an 'insurrection or rebellion against the United States'. Meanwhile, Greene's resolution focuses on Trump's 2019 impeachment concerning the 'perfect phone call', arguing that he was wrongfully accused of misconduct and that information from the FBI informant document vindicates him.
The Blaze: Obama claims the country is now less tolerant of differing opinions than when he was in charge
Former President Obama expressed concern about the decline in tolerance and anti-democratic sentiment in the US, which he believes is not unique to one party. He attributes this breakdown in bipartisanship to the bubble-like isolation of information that happens when people consume media tailored to their ideologies. However, these trends, including the silencing of critics, preceded Obama's time in office, as the Pew Research Center found a surge in partisan polarization during his years.
The Epoch Times: Citizenship by Electronic Means Approved by Senate
The Canadian Senate has amended the Citizenship Act to allow judges to perform duties electronically. It is unclear if in-person ceremonies will be eliminated.
Fox News: Amanpour asks Obama whether ‘White-lash’ against his presidency is ‘receding’
Former President Barack Obama was asked in an interview by CNN's Christiane Amanpour whether the "White-lash" against his presidency was "receding." Obama dismissed the criticism from the Republican presidential candidates, and remarked that race has always been a fault line in America, that his election did not signal the end of racial tensions in the country, and that reckoning with history is part of how a nation can get better. He compared America reckoning with racism to Germany confronting its past of Nazism and the Holocaust. In the same interview, he also talked about the threat of "obscene inequality" to the health of democracy.
The Epoch Times: Minister's Access to Info Focus Is Better Service Amid Calls for Legislative Overhaul
Treasury Board President Mona Fortier aims to improve administration of the Access to Information Act rather than a total rewrite of the legislation. The federal access law has not been revamped since its introduction 40 years ago and opposition MPs recommend changes to curb loopholes that prevent the release of information, impose penalties when responses to requests are late, limit extensions for answering requests to 60 days unless more is permitted by the commissioner and scale back exemptions in the law which limit release of information. Complaints regarding the act include lengthy delays, heavily redacted documents, or full denial of applications. The online portal for making requests is emphasised for improvement, along with enhanced recruitment, training of applicants, and better guidance to federal agencies.
Fox News: Democrats coming for 'integrity' of Supreme Court with Alito ethics challenge: Leo Terrell
Leo Terrell warns that Democrats are trying to get their "tentacles" around the conservative Supreme Court, putting the country's "integrity" in jeopardy. Justice Samuel Alito defended ethics allegations made by ProPublica. Alito published a Wall Street Journal op-ed in advance of a story from left-leaning nonprofit ProPublica, left liberal journalists fuming, calling it "highly unethical."
Daily Wire: Ben Shapiro Breaks Down Most Significant Allegation Revealed By IRS Whistleblowers Against Bidens
IRS whistleblowers reveal new corruption scandals involving President Joe Biden's son, Hunter. Texts from a whistleblower show Hunter Biden threatening the Chinese businessman, Henry Zhao, and demanding payment from a Chinese company. One message states, "My dad is sitting next to me and he wants you to pay the money." Despite recent plea deals over tax crimes, Hunter was a prominent figure at the White House India State Dinner. Ben Shapiro calls this the worst corruption he has ever seen and urges Republicans to lean into their investigations of the Bidens.
The Epoch Times: Democrats Mostly Sidestep Questions on Hunter Biden IRS Allegations
Democrats are mainly avoiding commenting on allegations of preferential treatment for Hunter Biden during an investigation into his failure to report $2.2 million he received from foreign sources. The allegations were made public by IRS Supervisor Special Agent Gary Shapley on June 22. Republicans have been more vocal in their reaction, with some stating that the allegations confirm once again that agencies designed to protect the American people are being weaponized against them. The Justice Department recently announced that Hunter Biden will plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and admitted to illegally possessing a gun, despite being a drug user.
National Review: Chris Christie Booed for Trump Criticism at GOP Event
Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie faced boos from the crowd when he criticized former president Donald Trump at a Faith and Freedom Coalition event in Washington, D.C. Christie, who previously supported Trump and chaired his transition team, stated that Trump has let the US down by “being unwilling to take responsibility for any of the mistakes that were made”. Christie has previously distinguished himself by publicly criticizing Trump, accusing other Republican presidential candidates of being too “afraid” to do so. Nevertheless, Trump remains a clear frontrunner in the race.
The Right Scoop: BREAKING: Speaker McCarthy signs off on expunging Trump impeachments
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy supports a proposal to expunge both of Trump's impeachments from the record, introduced by Elise Stefanik and Marjorie Taylor Greene. While it's unclear what kind of vote is needed for this to pass, Trump would certainly be pleased if it does.
Fox News: Supreme Court upholds law barring encouraging illegal immigration
The Supreme Court has denied a lawsuit challenging a law that criminalizes encouraging or inducing illegal immigration. In the case, Helaman Hansen promised hundreds of noncitizens entry and a path to citizenship via "adult adoption" despite no such pathway existing in U.S. law, earning nearly $2 million out of the scam. Justice Amy Coney Barrett dismissed Hansen’s appeal, saying that a challenger must demonstrate that a statute prohibits a substantial amount of protected speech outside its legitimate coverage and that Hansen did not meet these criteria. Two justices dissented.
The Supreme Court rejected a challenge to a law criminalizing the encouragement or induction of illegal immigration, dismissing a claim that the section was overbroad and unconstitutional. In the case of Helaman Hansen, who earned nearly $2 million from a scam by promising noncitizens entry and a path to citizenship via "adult adoption," Justice Amy Coney Barrett dismissed his appeal. The Court also threw out a Republican-state challenge to the Biden administration's narrowed Immigration and Customs Enforcement priorities. The states had argued that the narrowing led to more illegal immigrants and greater costs, but the majority found that the states did not have standing to challenge the priorities.

Breitbart: Coors Light Proceeding with Pride Parade During Bud Light Controversy
Coors Light will participate in Denver's Pride Parade on June 25, 2023, amidst backlash against companies taking part in pride events. The parade is part of Denver's two-day PrideFest celebration and will feature several sponsors, including Amazon, Visa, and JP Morgan, as well as drag queens, family-friendly activities, and resources for youth. Coors Light's decision to participate follows Bud Light's association with a man who now identifies as a woman, which led to boycotts and a drop in sales. Despite this, Bud Light has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce and continued to co-sponsor events. Many companies have faced criticism for promoting socially progressive messages during pride month.
The Epoch Times: Producers of Child Sexual Abuse Material Are Systematically Coming After Our Children
One in nine kids have been approached online by sexual predators. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is any production of explicit or inferred child sexual assault and exploitation and is illegal. Sextortion poses an increasing threat to children as many social media platforms are being used to collect and distribute CSAM. Tech companies are legally required to report CSAM but not to proactively look for it. Apple announced a plan to scan photos stored in iCloud for CSAM in August 2021, but paused the rollout after criticism from privacy and security researchers and digital rights groups. By changing this, we can prevent children from being robbed of their identity, innocence, and capacity to love and be loved.
Breitbart: Woke Vs. Woke: 3K Starbucks Workers to Strike over Pride Backlash
Starbucks workers from around 150 stores across the US are striking over a dispute about Pride decorations. Starbucks has denied claims made by the Starbucks Workers United Union that the company has imposed restrictions on Pride adornments in some stores. Starbucks maintains that its store leaders decide how to decorate their outlets, according to the company's safety and security guidelines.
The American Mind: The End of Europe
Recent violent crimes committed by migrants across Europe have caused growing public outrage and calls for immigration restrictions. Victims of these attacks have been stabbed, run over, and sexually assaulted. Despite this, mass immigration remains the norm and is still seen by many as an answer to economic and demographic issues. However, as public anger and media coverage of these crimes increase, many European nations are heading towards immigration restriction, with Hungary, Denmark, and Finland among them. The EU, however, plans to impose mandatory migrant quotas on member states, with fines for those who refuse to comply. As climate migration becomes a growing concern, some activists are promoting the rehousing of Third World migrants in Western nations, a prospect that many find insane. Regardless, Europe faces a difficult road to regaining its sovereignty and safety.
The Epoch Times: Toronto School Doing 'Social Experiment on Our Kids' With All-Gender Washrooms, Says Parent
Parents at Jean Lumb elementary school in Toronto are calling for a review of the policy for gender-neutral washrooms in the school, claiming it is "anti-feminist and discriminatory." A letter sent to the Toronto District School Board called for designated washrooms for boys and girls, saying the current arrangements created safety issues. The TDSB has said it will install longer doors on stalls to prevent intrusion, but parents say this does not deal with all concerns. However, the board has highlighted that the school has single-user standalone washrooms for any children who wish to use them, while encouraging all to use the washroom where they feel most comfortable.
The Epoch Times: We Don't Like What You Say or How You Say It
Dr. Michael Joyner, an exercise physiologist at the Mayo Clinic, has been threatened with dismissal for suggesting that transgender women have an unfair advantage in sports due to their higher testosterone levels. Following comments made in a media interview, he has been told to only say what the Clinic's Communications department permits him to say, and to cease engaging in offline conversations with reporters. One of the "validated complaints" seems to have come from the LGBTQ "community." The Mayo Clinic's response has been compared to the culture of denunciation in Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, or Vichy France, and sparked concerns for freedom of speech.

Foreign Policy: Who Blew Up the Nord Stream Pipeline?
The Nord Stream pipeline explosion in 2022 was originally seen as a mystery with no clear culprit, but recent intelligence leaks indicate that the Ukrainian government may have been involved. This serves as a reminder that issues in European energy security are complex and longstanding, predating the Ukraine conflict and involving divergent national interests. These tensions will continue to shape the future of European defense, NATO, Ukrainian integration into Europe, and the relationship between Europe and Russia. The destruction of Nord Stream also highlights the ongoing haggling over energy supplies in Eastern Europe and the question of who gets to decide which supplies will continue.

Forbes: 7.5 Million Baby Shark Bath Toys Recalled For Impalement Risk To Children
Around 7.5 million Baby Shark bath toys are being recalled by Zuru due to the hard plastic top fins that can impale or lacerate children who fall or sit on them. The two types of toys being recalled are the full-sized Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing & Swim and the Mini Baby Shark Swimming. The full-sized toys, available from May 2019 through March 2023, come in three colors (yellow, pink, and blue), and can sing and swim. The smaller toys, available from July 2020 through June 2023, come in the same colors, do not sing, and have not caused any reported injuries. The Epoch Times: Former Tavistock Staff Launch Private Trans Surgery Referral Service for Children
Former staff of a controversial transgender clinic have opened Gender Plus, a private service offering gender assessments to children and adolescents across the UK and Ireland. The service, which charges up to £275 ($372) per hour, offers assessments that can be used for onward referral to a surgical or endocrine team. At least one appointment would need to be in person, it said. The National Health Service (NHS) recently announced it would limit the use of puberty-suppressing drugs to children enrolled in clinical trials. After an independent report found that the affirmative model of care was not working for children with gender dysphoria, the NHS announced it would no longer routinely offer the drugs. Gender Plus did not address whether it would offer the drugs, but said it was aware of the recent NHS service specifications. Despite concerns about safety, the Tavistock Centre, and official children's gender identity clinic in London, received over 5,000 referrals in the 2021/22 financial year. has since announced it will close next year. Just under 250 children were referred to the clinic in 2011/12.
National Review: The Corner: Canadian Disabled Woman Opts for Euthanasia Because She Can’t Get Timely Assistance
A quadriplegic woman in Canada named Rose Finlay has asked for medical assistance in dying due to being destitute and unable to access adequate disability services. Finlay previously supported her family through disability advocacy work but has since been unable to earn an income and her health has declined. Even after applying to the Ontario Disability Support Program, she was told approval would take at least six to eight months. The approval period for MAID (medical assistance in dying) is only 90 days. With Canadian eligibility requirements for euthanasia loosening, there have been more instances of case workers suggesting euthanasia as a solution to social service denial. Euthanasia is becoming an increasingly popular response to social injustice, and it is likely that doctors will perform euthanasia even if the desire to die has little to do with physical disability.
Human Events: OLI LONDON: Trans actor Elliot Page appears deeply unhappy while
claiming to ‘feel joy’
Hollywood actor Elliot Page discusses life since coming out as a trans man in a new ABC News interview, claiming to have found happiness since transitioning despite appearing exhausted through the interview. This is not the first time Page has sparked concern, with her autobiography revealing voices in her head that told her to become trans after a psychotic episode of self-harm, likely as a response to severe childhood traumas and sexual abuse. People with severe gender dysphoria who become trans often do so as a response to childhood trauma and sexual abuse, but instead of getting a true support system, Page is being exploited to push a narrative that only causes pain and suffering.

Albanian teenagers are being recruited by international gangs through misleading social media advertisements, according to UK-based human rights lawyer Danny Bayraktarova. Appearing at the Home Affairs Select Committee, Bayraktarova said the gangs were highly organised and could intimidate the families of young Albanians who refused to cooperate. The lawyer said many children willingly put themselves into the hands of traffickers due to socioeconomic norms and false promises about employment opportunities. In 2022, there were 16,938 referrals of potential victims of modern slavery to the National Referral Mechanism in England and Wales, the highest annual figure since the system was set up in 2009.

Forbes: Summarizing The Paper Trail Of Chris Paul’s Career
Chris Paul's journey from being one of the NBA's greatest point guards to a player with a crippling contract that has seen him move around multiple teams since 2019 is due to his history with high salary caps. After being a part of the Clippers' big three with Griffin and Jordan, he moved to the Houston Rockets, then to Oklahoma City before moving to the Phoenix Suns where he helped push them to the NBA Finals. On The Water: Striper Migration Map – June 23, 2023
The Striper Cup is happening now in parts of New England, with great discounts on gear. Chesapeake Bay allows one striped bass catch per day, caught on soft plastics or live spot. New Jersey's large stripers seemed to have pushed north but still plentiful along the beaches. Western North Shore and South Shore inlets in New York have big bass feeding on bunker, while the East End surf has a large body of big bass. Lights out striper fishing in Connecticut's Long Island Sound hot on the tails of bunker, with big stripers holding in Narragansett Bay and a big push of big bass in Block Island. The Cape Cod Canal saw a fresh wave of bass feed on a smorgasbord of baits, and good fishing remained at Monomoy Rips. Meanwhile, fisherman find large striped bass around Boston and the North Shore but difficult to pattern without bunker. New Hampshire and Maine already have good numbers of 40-inch fish.

Forbes: What VRAI’s First Canadian Showroom And Store Expansion Means For The Future Of Lab-Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamond retailer VRAI, the consumer arm of Diamond Foundry, has been opening showrooms across the US and Canada. With industry leaders like Tiffany's and Bvlgari, consumers are now turning to more transparent and sustainable options as the global lab-grown diamond market is forecasted to grow to $37.32bn by 2028, representing a 30% share of the global diamond market. The Toronto showroom was VRAI's best-performing store in its first two weeks, with driving factors being the lack of sustainable diamond options, innovative retail experiences and its program "Cut For You," which allows consumers to design their own diamond shape.
