Front Page Magazine: The Left Can Have Islam or LGBTQA+. Not Both
The Left Can Have Islam or LGBTQA+. Not Both
Regenbogen, Vienna’s rainbow gay pride parade, was marred by the arrest of three Muslim teenagers with ties to ISIS who were planning a terror attack using axes and knives. Austria still clings to the fantasy that the black flags of Islam can coexist with the rainbow flag, but the reality is coming apart, as evidenced by the ban on pride flags in Michigan’s nearly 50% Muslim cities. The Democrats' strategy of building a 'rainbow coalition' of minorities that would overthrow the old America is falling apart, as minority groups are displaying a growing tendency to go their own way and pursue their own agendas that are at odds with a party that purges non-black religious conservatives, traditional feminists, immigration restrictionist environmentalists, and working-class whites in pursuit of a leftist collective. The Left's idea of "communities" that transcend identities is a myth, as Muslim elected officials in cities on track to have an Islamic majority represent their community and their values, not anyone else's. Democrats must choose between Islamic values and LGBT values - they can have one but not both.

Front Page Magazine: How U.S. Foreign Aid to Iraq Funds Terrorism Against Americans
How U.S. Foreign Aid to Iraq Funds Terrorism Against Americans
The United States has spent over $10 billion on Iraq since 2016, despite the fact that Iraqi government funds are going to Iran-backed terror groups that have killed American soldiers. Kataeb Hezbollah, one of these groups, fired rockets at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad in 2019 and has bombed U.S. bases in recent years. Despite this, the Biden administration continues to provide foreign aid to Iraq, while ignoring the fact that Americans are continuing to be killed in the country.

Iraq has become an Islamic terror state under political control of Iran with the Iraqi government turning over security to Shiite terrorists. The foreign policy establishment refuses to acknowledge Iraq's situation and continues to fund the Iraqi military, allowing for more defense funding to go to Shiite terror groups. Iraq continues to come up with new ways to extract money from U.S. taxpayers and even humanitarian aid finds its way into the hands of Islamic terrorists, perpetuating the cycle of funding terror and costing American lives.

Fox News: The greed of Big Pharma cannot continue
The greed of Big Pharma cannot continue
The American healthcare system is broken - despite spending twice as much on healthcare per capita as any other nation, over 85 million Americans are uninsured or underinsured, and there is a major shortage of doctors, nurses, dentists and mental health practitioners, making it increasingly difficult for patients to arrange timely visits with their doctors. Much of the problem lies with the high cost of prescription drugs; the United States pays much more than other countries for the same drugs, driving up healthcare costs, Medicare premiums, and insurance costs. Over half of the new drugs coming onto the market today cost more than $220,000, with cancer drug prices surging over 300% in the past decade alone. The pharmaceutical industry is one of the most powerful political forces in America, with over 1,800 well-paid lobbyists on Capitol Hill, and last year alone, drug companies spent over $375 million to lobby Congress. The result is that drug companies are almost totally unregulated, and can charge any price they want for their products. The high cost of prescription drugs leads to higher healthcare costs, reduces access to important treatments, and ultimately causes people to be sicker and die needlessly.

Fox News: NCAA athlete claims she was scolded by AI over message about women's sports
NCAA athlete claims she was scolded by AI over message about women's sports
NCAA volleyball player Macy Petty claims that artificial intelligence platform ChatGPT reprimanded her when she asked it to shorten a tweet about transgender athletes participating in women's sports. Petty says that ChatGPT's message promoting inclusivity over female exclusivity is evidence of bias in big tech companies. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has acknowledged ChatGPT's limitations alongside accusations of liberalism and sexism. Petty, who has testified before state governments about preserving the integrity of women's sports, says that tech companies such as OpenAI must be more honest and transparent on bias issues.

The Epoch Times: Volunteers Pony up Thousands in Donations to Purchase Disputed Alpine Horses at Auction
Volunteers Pony up Thousands in Donations to Purchase Disputed Alpine Horses at Auction
A wild horse sanctuary in Colorado will adopt seventy Alpine horses rounded up and sold by the US Forest Service at online auctions. Simone Netherlands, president of the Salt River Wild Horse Management Group, said that $50,000 was raised from donations to buy the horses and pay for their transportation to Craig, Colorado. The animals will be unable to be released any further, but will be allowed to run free within a 22,450-acre sanctuary created for rescued mustangs from Bureau of Land Management activities in Colorado. The Salt River group hopes US lawmakers will write letters to the Forest Service in support of the remaining Alpine herd.

Fox News: UN calls for AI watchdog agency due to 'tremendous' potential: 'very clear' urgency
UN calls for AI watchdog agency due to 'tremendous' potential: 'very clear' urgency
The United Nations is pushing for the establishment of an advisory committee on AI policy, emphasizing the urgency to address the risks and governance gaps in AI technology. The lack of investment in governance tools and safety requirements have left member states ill-equipped for the changes in society that AI technology will create. AI technology has the potential to accelerate progress on the sustainable development goals, but governments need to get governance right not only to address the risks but also to build trust in AI solutions.

Fox News: Schumer’s AI regulatory effort slows as ‘weeks’ turn into months
Schumer’s AI regulatory effort slows as ‘weeks’ turn into months
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's plans to put forward a legislative proposal on artificial intelligence have been delayed from his original hopes of a few weeks to 2024. The effort will involve the top minds in artificial intelligence and attempts to guard against "doomsday scenarios," along with maintaining security, accountability, and justice. Turning the principles into legislation will be challenging, but it is believed that a commission or a new agency could guide policy, though legislation may not be passed for months or even years.

The Epoch Times: Officials Unsure When Hydrogen Production Can Be Profitable Despite Billions in Taxpayer Funding
Officials Unsure When Hydrogen Production Can Be Profitable Despite Billions in Taxpayer Funding
Despite billions invested in Australia's hydrogen industry, profitability remains a long way off due to high production costs, according to Jo Evans, the deputy secretary of the Department of Climate Change and Energy. While costs are expected to fall over time, she said government support was still needed. Australia's $2bn Hydrogen Headstart program hopes to make the country a renewable energy superpower, backing two or three projects with up to 1,000 MW of electrolyser capacity by 2030. Hydrogen production is seen as a solution to the net zero energy conundrum posed by the intermittency of wind and solar. **

The Epoch Times: Apple Found Guilty of Union-Busting Activities at NYC Store by Labor Judge
Apple Found Guilty of Union-Busting Activities at NYC Store by Labor Judge
An NLRB judge has ruled against Apple, finding that the company interfered with unionization efforts at one of its New York stores by removing pro-union flyers and making coercive statements to employees. Apple has been ordered to stop these actions and post a notice for employees at the store. Labor organizations have been making inroads into Apple stores recently, with workers demanding better wages and higher compensation. The decision can be appealed until July 18.
