Townhall: A Bad Idea Poorly Timed
Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert has proposed a privileged motion to impeach US President Joe Biden, citing his handling of the border situation as one of the reasons for the move. However, conservative political commentator Erick Erickson believes that the timing is poor and that Republicans should focus on other issues. He argues that it would be better to impeach the homeland security secretary, who is responsible for day-to-day operations on the southern border, as that would be more likely to gain support across the aisle and from within the Republican party. The GOP should focus on economic and cultural issues, he said, and avoid giving the impression that they are solely interested in raising money by attacking the Bidens.
Erickson believes that Republicans risk losing sight of their policy and vision by focusing too much on allegations of corruption and crime within the Biden family, and he points out that many swing voters already believe both parties to be corrupt. Instead, he argues that the GOP should focus on issues that matter to voters, such as the cost of living, crime, and education. They need to set out a clear vision for their party, he said, and avoid the trap of reliving the 1990s, when Republicans spent more time focusing on allegations of corruption and crime than on policy and vision.
Fox News: LAURA INGRAHAM: The Bidens continue to surprise us
Laura Ingraham revealed Hunter Biden's alleged membership at a sex club in LA, and discussed the "sleazy" nature of the Biden family. Additionally, an FBI document suggests that Joe Biden received $5 million from a Burisma executive as part of a bribery scheme.
The American Spectator: The Bizarro Political World Adam Schiff Created
Adam Schiff was censured by the House of Representatives for pushing false claims about Trump colluding with Russia during the 2016 presidential election. The censure notes Schiff abused his trust by alleging non-existent evidence of collusion, and his own Democratic colleagues condemned him for it. Schiff, however, celebrated the censure as a badge of honor and Democrat voters may actually be more enamored with him because of it.
Townhall: Don't Let Hunter's Plea Deal Distract From the Real Biden Problem: Ukraine
Hunter Biden has avoided jail time and punishment, except for a two-year probation period, after lying on a federal firearms background check form. This highlights the two-tiered system of justice that conservatives have been criticizing, as he was allowed a "sweetheart plea deal” by the Justice Department.
Recent allegations concerning President Biden's family's venality and corruption, in particular the alleged 17 recorded calls with Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, could prove to be of national concern. Senator Chuck Grassley's allegations stem from an FBI document he has seen and consider President Biden's being financially compromised. The situation in Ukraine already makes the threat of a direct broader conflagration with Russia likely, and therefore, Senate and House Republicans must focus intently on finding the truth about the Biden family's dealings in Ukraine.
Newsbusters: Reid Panics Over 3rd Party Group, Could Elect Trump, End of Democracy!
MSNBC's Joy Reid expressed fear over the possibility of a centrist third party "No Labels" running in the 2024 presidential election and potentially taking votes away from Biden, leading to a second Trump administration. This according to Reid would result in the "end of democracy" in the United States. However, third party bids historically hurt both Republicans and Democrats, as was seen in 1992 with Ross Perot and in 1912 with Teddy Roosevelt splitting the Republican vote.
The American Spectator: Biden Lords Over America’s Heaven and Hell Justice System
President Biden promised to unify the nation but has instead divided it further. The DOJ's indictment of former President Trump on 37 felony counts related to mishandling classified documents is an unprecedented act in U.S. history and a threat to the leader of the opposition. The Biden administration has created a two-tier justice system, where Democrats operate with Heaven justice, and Republicans are subject to Hell justice. Trump learned that, in today's America, justice is not equal. The Presidential Records Act gives presidents unquestioned power to declassify documents, and Biden and other Democrats have abused state secrets, skating free while Republicans face punishment. To restore the principle of Equal Justice Under Law, the DOJ should drop charges against Trump and prosecute Democrats who have abused state secrets.

Breitbart: India's Modi Clinches Deal to Jointly Build Fighter Jet Engines with GE

Breitbart: India Hits Record-High Russian Oil Purchases -- More than U.S., UAE, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia Combined
India continues to break its Russian oil import records. In May 2023, India imported 1.95 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil from Russia, with 40% of its oil coming from the country. India has significantly increased its imports from Russia since the country invaded Ukraine in February 2022, resulting in the imposition of sanctions on Russia’s oil industry leading to falling oil prices. The drop in price has made Russian oil an attractive market for India which is reported to be profiting significantly from buying cheap Russian crude, refining it at home, and selling it at a markup. Despite India’s growing reliance on Russian oil, its ties with Ukraine have remained frayed and calls for India to distance itself from Moscow and support the Ukrainian cause have been rejected.

Breitbart: Latest Chinese Social Media Trend: ‘White People Food’
Chinese social media users are expressing disbelief at "white people food," meaning simple and lightly seasoned Western lunches. Many Chinese diners say that they prefer more elaborate, spicy meals and thus cannot believe that Westerners would be satisfied with a sandwich or salad. Though some Chinese see the "White People Food" trend as payback for Westerners' negative feelings towards unhealthy Asian food, the trend is also seen as pushback against young urban Chinese who are developing a taste for simple and easily prepared Western lunches. Many Chinese millennials see Western lunches as convenient and lower in calories and fat content, making them a popular choice for fitness or weight-loss enthusiasts.

The Epoch Times: Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway in Ottawa to Be Renamed 'Kichi Zībī Mīkan'
The Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway in Ottawa will be renamed Kichi Zībī Mīkan, meaning “Great River Road,” following a public engagement process with the Algonquin Nation. The new name is consistent with the National Capital Commission’s “Toponymy Policy” for naming and renaming NCC-managed assets. However, efforts to rename or remove sites and monuments bearing the name of Canada’s first prime minister have been going on for some time due to his role in residential schools for indigenous people.

Townhall: Dear Google: A Response to Center for Countering Digital Hate Profiting From Deceit
Imran Ahmed's publication "Profiting From Deceit" is deceptive and shills for the abortion industry. He uses the term "reproductive healthcare" solely as a euphemism for abortion and targets and censors any abortion alternative. Pregnancy centers provide services relating to pregnancy and explore alternatives to abortion. Ahmed's demand for censorship would leave women being trafficked to find a path to abort, the very thing her trafficker demands. This publication is a thinly veiled demand of Big Abortion against its primary competitors.
The Epoch Times: Taipei Passes Resolution to Support Global Efforts to Stop Forced Human Organ Harvesting in China
The Taipei City Council has passed a resolution supporting a global declaration to stop forced organ harvesting in China. The resolution was initiated by a Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Taipei City Councilor and was endorsed by 28 cross-party and independent councillors of the city council. The resolution condemns the Chinese Communist Party’s state-sanctioned organ harvesting, supports worldwide legislation against the practice, and urges the public not to go to China for illegal organ trading and transplantation. The Legislative Yuan of the Republic of China is currently working to enact criminal legislation aimed at combating and preventing forced organ harvesting.
Texas has signed into law a bipartisan bill that aims to combat the Chinese regime’s practice of forced organ harvesting. The bill would ban entry by perpetrators to the United States and block financial transactions on US soil. It also would require the US secretary of state to report to Congress on organ transplant abuses committed in foreign countries. The US House Foreign Affairs Committee unanimously passed a bill, the Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act of 2023, on Feb. 28, and the bill will be taken up by the full House for debate. It aims to ban organ trafficking and is primarily directed towards stemming the practice in China.

The Dallas Mavericks acquire Richaun Holmes and the No. 24 overall pick from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Davis Bertans and the No. 10 pick. They also select Olivier-Maxence Prosper with the No. 24 pick, adding versatility at the wing position.
Holmes has a 15% trade kicker and a salary of $12.1 million this season, with a player option of $12.8 million for 2024-25. The Mavericks are using a traded player exception to absorb his salary and address areas of concern such as rebounding and defense.

Backpacker: Mount Rainier May Start Requiring Reservations, and Now Is Your Last Chance to Weigh In
Mount Rainier National Park is considering implementing a timed-entry reservation system due to an increase in visitation and congestion. The Washington Trails Association opposes the plan, citing potential inequities in access for those who can't plan ahead or have limited technology access. The Epoch Times: Response to Fiery Ohio Derailment Frustrated by Poor Communication and Incomplete Information
A lack of communication from the railway caused issues for firefighters who responded to a fiery train derailment in Ohio in February. National Transportation Safety Board chairwoman Jennifer Homendy asked why Norfolk Southern was able to give information about the freight to one of its contractors within 10 minutes of the accident, but that it took an hour to relay that information to the first responders. Despite residents being concerned about the impact of the chemicals on their health, tests have shown that the town’s water and air are safe. First responders who testified said volunteers need more hazardous materials training, and radios used by different departments did not work with each other.
Forbes: Billionaire Lim Kok Thay’s Genting Seeks Buyer For Miami Property After $1.2 Billion Deal Falls Through
Genting Malaysia is seeking new bids for their undeveloped waterfront property in downtown Miami after U.S. property developer Terra cancelled its proposed $1.2 billion transaction. Terra had requested an extension of the exclusivity period and amendments to the commercial terms of the sale and purchase agreement, but these were not granted and so the developer walked away. Genting believes that the property's value has increased 400% in the past decade, meaning they could have booked an exceptional gain of $967 million if the sale had been successful.
