The Supreme Court has ruled against Texas and Louisiana in their lawsuit against Biden's deportation policies. The court decided that the states lacked standing to challenge the guidelines set forth by the Department of Homeland Security. The Epoch Times: Kari Lake Responds to Defamation Lawsuit Filed by Top Arizona Elections Official
Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer has filed a defamation lawsuit against GOP candidate Kari Lake for making false allegations about the 2022 midterm elections and causing "violent vitriol and other dire consequences" against Richer. Lake has filed several lawsuits to claim irregularities and errors in the midterms should make her the winner of the gubernatorial race against Democrat Katie Hobbs who was sworn in as Governor in January. Richer's lawsuit names Lake, her political fundraising group and campaign as defendants, and seeks a court order to declare Lake's statements false and requiring her to delete them from social media. Lake has previously vowed to take her election challenges to the US Supreme Court if need be and is reportedly considered one of the leading contenders to be Trump's running mate in the 2024 presidential campaign.
Fox News: 'Needed to be done': Lawmakers consider if Schiff’s censure will bolster his Senate campaign
California Democrat Adam Schiff has become only the 25th lawmaker in American history to be censured. The lower chamber criticised Schiff, a former chair of the House Intelligence Committee, for his pushing of debunked collusion claims between former President Trump and Russia surrounding the 2016 election. Schiff himself called the censure a “badge of honour” and issued fundraising emails shortly after. Schiff is running for Senate in Democrat-leaning California and the censure could in fact bolster his campaign, though Republicans believe the move was necessary to preserve the integrity of the House.
Republican lawmakers believe Schiff most likely raised significant campaign cash following the censure and that it will be politically or financially lucrative for him. However, they also believe the move needed to be taken to protect the credibility of the House, despite whatever advantage it may give Schiff going forward. Schiff’s censure has more impact for this reason than in purely political considerations, says Rep. Scott Fitzgerald, R-Wis.
The Epoch Times: ‘Horrific’ DIY Home Abortion Policy Blamed for 17 Percent Surge in Terminations
Pro-life groups are calling for the scrapping of the UK's "horrific" DIY home abortion policy, as official data reveals a 17% surge in the number of abortions in England and Wales. The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) reports that between January and June 2022, 123,219 abortions were carried out, up from 105,488 during the same period in 2021. According to the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), rising living costs contributed to the increase, and it urged the government to provide easier access to abortions. However, pro-life organizations have blamed the increase on the government's DIY home abortion policy, which allows deadly abortion drugs to be sent by post. ( )
Breitbart: Pennsylvania GOP Endorsements Delivered for Donald Trump
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly won endorsements from over half of Pennsylvania's GOP House delegation, helping him to distance himself from other candidates seeking the party's official endorsement in anticipation of his 2024 presidential campaign announcement. As of Thursday evening, Trump had secured support from 56 out of 63 House Republicans who had so far endorsed a presidential candidate. His closest rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has the backing of only five House Republicans. Trump's supporters have been working tirelessly to garner support from within the party, coordinating endorsements with the help of political veterans and TV ad makers.
The Federalist Papers: Key Biden Accuser Moves to Testify Against Him and the FBI - But Only if Safety Guaranteed

If Reade were to testify, it would be during the 2024 presidential campaign as Biden seeks re-election.

Townhall: Must Be Nice to Live in Paul Ryan's America
Paul Ryan claims he's not a "culture war" guy, preferring to focus on big policy problems like the debt crisis and China. He avoids divisive issues like banning books in school libraries and children being exposed to pornographic material. Ryan works to lift people out of poverty through his foundation, but his world is far removed from the moral and cultural poverty faced by parents trying to protect their children from harmful influences. While Ryan may see culture war issues as beneath him, others see it as a necessary fight for the well-being of the next generation.

Psychologist Erica Anderson says that while on the board of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) families would tell her they were asked only a few questions during medical consultations before being offered cross-sex hormone therapies. One established critic of the practices says children “must be protected from the irreversible harms we are seeing from these dangerous experimental interventions.”
