Despite proof of his lies, the mainstream media refused to report on them and anyone who tried to was slandered and attacked. The issue of Obama's lies had no impact on his campaigns, but historians may one day be interested in how his inconvenient background was kept hidden.

The LAPD is reportedly lowering hiring standards to achieve racial diversity and meet hiring targets, according to sources within the department. Officers claim that many of the new hires are not qualified for the job and that the department is not prioritizing finding the best candidates. Mayor Karen Bass denies these claims, while LAPD Chief Michael Moore says the complaints are coming from older officers. The city had previously cut the LAPD budget and pledged to redistribute funds to "communities of color" during the Black Lives Matter protests, and Bass has vowed to hire 1,000 new officers and recruit from historically black colleges and universities.

Berman's promotion will see him lead a team responsible for elections-related content policies worldwide.

The FBI's investigation also ignored numerous bank records that connect the Biden family with foreign businesses, and there is evidence that Biden's Department of Justice interfered with tax fraud investigations.
Townhall: BLM Rule Will Thwart Multiple-Use Mandate on Public Lands
BLM's proposed "Conservation and Landscape Health" rule seeks to put conservation on equal footing with grazing, logging, hunting, and fishing. This rule is expected to favor preservationist environmentalists and stray from multiple-use management practices on public lands, which will have unintended consequences. "Conservation leases" could be exploited by powerful special interest groups to create non-uses of public lands, and the rule may not recognize hunting as a conservation use. This proposal may also violate the Congressional Review Act, and stakeholders will be alienated if the Biden administration proceeds with it.

True-See Allah, an official in Suffolk County's district attorney's office, has been suspended over reports of making antisemitic comments during a 2016 interview. Allah is the director of the office’s Community Engagement/Strategic Partnerships Unit. He appeared on a radio show of "The Allah Team Radio," which promotes the Nation of Islam, a Black nationalist organization. Allah called a Jewish man “a Jewish guy who's got short arms and deep pockets.” and has been placed on leave pending a review of the whole situation.

However, the Ukrainian army still has plenty of breaching capability left, as it operates scores of engineering vehicles that can clear mines, fill trenches, and excavate berms. The most numerous engineering vehicle is the Wisent 1, built by Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft in Germany, and equipped with attachments for either a dozer blade or a mine-plow from Pearson Engineering in the United Kingdom. The Ukrainian army has lost just one Wisent in combat so far.

Some Democrats pressured Biden to confront Modi about human rights crises emerging under his Hindu nationalist government, though the President has indicated he will not lecture Modi on the issue.

Reps. Don Bacon (R-NE) and Mike Turner (R-OH) voted against Republican amendments to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training throughout the military. The amendments failed 30-29 after Bacon and Turner sided with Democrats against them. Republicans also passed amendments to eliminate top DEI officer position, prohibit federal funds for teaching CRT in the military, and require the Pentagon to report CRT and transgender policy spending. The bill also included a 5.2% pay raise for all troops and monthly bonus payments to junior enlisted troops.

The Epoch Times: Saskatchewan Government Suspends Planned Parenthood Presentations in Schools
Saskatchewan's education minister has suspended Planned Parenthood from classrooms following the distribution of "inappropriate" sexual material. A pamphlet containing graphic, sexual language was obtained by a Grade 9 student at a school in the city of Lumsden; Planned Parenthood had not presented it to the class. They had, however, inadvertently placed it on a side-table with other material. The organization will be allowed back into schools following a ministerial review into sexual education material, but Julian Wotherspoon, executive director at Planned Parenthood Regina, said that she was disappointed as her group had been talking with students about contraceptives, sexually transmitted infections, and sexual consent while a teacher was present in the room.

The body found burning in a fire pit near Apache Junction has been identified as missing teenager Parker League and is being investigated as a homicide. League was visiting Tempe, Arizona, from Nebraska. Residents in the area are concerned about the discovery and have reported concerning activity in the remote desert.

Chemical manufacturer 3M Co. has reached a $10.3 billion settlement with several US public drinking water systems to resolve allegations of contamination of “forever chemicals.” The company announced that the agreement would settle a case that had been scheduled for trial earlier this month over a 2018 lawsuit brought by the city of Stuart, Florida, alleging that 3M made or sold firefighting foams containing PFAS that polluted local soil and groundwater. The settlement is subject to court approval.
