Spectator USA: Imran Khan on the conspiracy against him
Imran Khan on the conspiracy against him
Former prime minister Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan’s Movement for Justice party, has warned of the “reign of terror” gripping the country after his arrest on corruption charges last month. The PTI’s support base has been targeted by authorities, with thousands of members arrested. Khan claims that the media has also been “totally muzzled”. Despite the crackdown, Khan still enjoys significant public support and has a 70% approval rating, with just 18% support for his rival Shehbaz Sharif. Khan’s supporters stormed military buildings earlier this year, and clashes with police left more than 40 people dead.

Russia’s Notorious FSB Issues Arrest Warrant For Wagner Boss Prigozhin, Urges His Troops To Stop Him
The FSB issued an arrest warrant for Yevgeny Prigozhin, owner of the Wagner paramilitary group, after he accused Russia’s Ministry of Defense of attacking and killing his troops in Ukraine. The FSB called his statements and actions calls for an armed civil conflict on the Russian Federation territory. Prigozhin responded by effectively declaring that he will overthrow Russia’s military. This has led to an all-out real civil war in the country.

The Epoch Times: Research Finds Carbon Farming Helps Australian Drought Resilience
Research Finds Carbon Farming Helps Australian Drought Resilience
Australian farmers who use carbon farming practices to raise the amount of carbon in their soil and vegetation are becoming more drought resilient, according to a survey conducted by Charles Sturt University. Of the over 120 farmers surveyed, 80 were already participating in carbon farming activities, with 75% of the participants stating that it made them better prepared for drought. Carbon farming enables farmers to earn income from Australian Carbon Credit Units, although there is a cost to changing land practice. Carbon farming provider Climate Friendly commissioned the research. The Clean Energy Finance Corporation recently announced its intention to invest AUD50m ($33m) in Wilga Farming, an agriculture investment vehicle for sustainable farming and carbon sequestration.
