Breitbart: Obama on Trump Indictment: Upholds the Notion 'Nobody Is Above the Law'
Former President Obama believes that the indictments against former President Trump uphold the idea that "nobody is above the law," but he expressed concern about a broader issue of anti-democratic sentiment in the United States, which he believes is most prominent in the Republican Party. He called for a strengthening of the habits of free and open exchange of ideas and the abiding of rules, which he feels has weakened since he left office.
The Right Scoop: WATCH: Tucker releases new episode about America’s most hated candidate and it’s not Trump
Tucker Carlson's latest episode claims Robert Kennedy Jr. as America's most hated presidential candidate. Episode 6 runs for 18 minutes and invites discussion.
Breitbart: Report: Sen. Rick Scott Mulls Entering Crowded GOP Primary Field
Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) is reportedly considering a bid for the White House, which would make him the 13th candidate in the growing field of contenders for the Republican nomination. The Florida senator, who has endorsed former President Donald Trump for president twice, would join Trump, Gov. Ron DeSantis, and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez as the fourth Florida Republican to enter the race. However, Scott's team apparently denied the rumors. The report comes as Trump maintains a majority, or near majority, of support in most national polls, while DeSantis regularly lands in second place.
Breitbart: Foundation Behind ProPublica Funds Groups Targeting Thomas, Alito
The left-wing organization Sandler Foundation has been funneling millions into organizations attacking conservative Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. They founded and have given $40 million to the non-profit news outlet ProPublica, which has published investigations attacking Thomas for his relationship with a billionaire real estate developer, quoting activists from groups funded by the Sandler Foundation. The group has also funded dark-money groups aiming to oust Thomas and pack the court with left-leaning justices. The Sandler Foundation has helped launch and/or fund several other left-wing organizations, including The Center for American Progress, The ACLU, and Human Rights Watch.
Tax documents show that other left-wing donors, such as George Soros-backed "Foundation to Promote Open Society," The Silicon Valley Community Foundation, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and The Ford Foundation, have given ProPublica millions of dollars and also donated millions to left-wing groups targeting Justice Thomas. Sandler Foundation recipients, such as Demand Justice, the American Constitution Society, The Center for American Progress, and CREW, have called for investigations into Justice Alito. ProPublica published a story about Alito's alleged "luxury fishing vacation" with GOP billionaire Paul Singer, who later had cases before the Supreme Court. Justice Alito refuted the claims in an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal, accusing ProPublica of misleading readers.
PJ Media: KDJ Happy Hour Scuttlebutt: How Much More Can the Merrick Garland-Joe Biden Bromance Endure?
Merrick Garland and the FBI are protecting the Biden family by raiding the homes of investigative journalists looking for information on Ashley Biden's diary about showering with Joe Biden as a young child. Garland's loyalty to Biden has not been reciprocated and he risks going down in history as a failed, traitorous American if he continues to hide Hunter Biden's racketeering. Keep up the pressure on the Bidens' anti-American actions to expose their treachery.
Newsbusters: NBC Reports Hunter Implicating Joe Biden in China Deal, ABC/CBS Ignore
Whistleblower reports reveal that the DOJ interfered in the tax fraud investigation into Hunter Biden, and text messages suggest Joe Biden was involved in his son's overseas business dealings with China. Only NBC Nightly News covered the report. ABC's World News Tonight spent 11 minutes on the Titanic submersible story, while CBS Evening News spent just under four minutes on the implosion. This bias by omission was made possible by Dr. Scholl's on ABC and SimpliSafe on CBS.
IRS whistleblowers allege that Hunter Biden received preferential treatment in his investigation, resulting in two misdemeanor guilty pleas, while the DOJ and FBI slow-walked parts of the investigation. A whistleblower also provided text messages suggesting Joe Biden was involved in Hunter's overseas business dealings with China. The White House claims that President Biden let the investigation proceed without political interference. Hunter Biden's lawyers have not commented.

The Federalist Papers: After Bud Light Debacle, Major Competitor Goes All-In on LGBT 'Pride' and Vows to Continue 'For Decades to Come'
Molson Coors, owner of Miller and Coors, will sponsor LGBT events "for decades", despite conservative boycotts over Bud Light's partnership with a trans activist. The company is sponsoring this year's annual LGBT "pride" events in Denver. Molson Coors has no concerns about a backlash similar to that of AB InBev, which lost market cap value over its social media partnership with Dylan Mulvaney. Molson Coors and AB InBev brands have benefited from the drop in Bud Light sales. Other Denver Pride sponsors include Walmart, Visa, and Nissan.

The Epoch Times: Pro-Democracy NGO Demands Explanation After HSBC Terminates Its Business and Members Accounts
HSBC is being asked to explain why it cancelled the bank accounts of The League of Social Democrats (LSD) and some of its members. The group has criticised HSBC and accused it of "soft political persecution" and "damaging the image of Hong Kong as an international financial hub." The LSD argues that by closing its only avenue for receiving public donations through account closure, HSBC would directly force the closure of the few remaining pro-democracy parties in Hong Kong and that HSBC’s decision will restrict the freedom of speech and choice of Hong Kong people, and violates HSBC’s commitment to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
The Epoch Times: Rising Number of Russian, Chinese Nationals at US Southern Border Raises Security Concerns
House Republicans expressed concern over the increasing number of encounters with foreign nationals, including high-value targets from China and Russia, intercepted by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) along the Southwest border. During a House Homeland Security Subcommittee hearing, lawmaker August Pfluger raised alarm over the potential dangers of an unsecure border being taken advantage of by anti-U.S. regimes. Pfluger emphasized the expanding influence of China and other foreign adversaries in Latin America, which pose implications for U.S. homeland security. Pfluger also highlighted the alleged collusive activities of Russia with anti-U.S. authoritarian regimes in the region.

The Epoch Times: Stock Market Today: Wall Street Drifts as Central Banks Keep Cranking Interest Rates Higher
Global central banks are continuing to raise interest rates to combat inflation, resulting in a mixed finish on Wall Street. While the S&P 500 rose 0.4%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell less than 0.1%, and up-and-coming high-growth stocks helped the Nasdaq composite secure a 1% gain. Highlighting uncertainty, the Bank of England raised its main interest rate, in contrast to the US Federal Reserve's statement that further rate increases may be necessary. Economists warn that US interest rates that are too high could curb economic growth and drag the country into a recession.

Hong Kong hosted its annual Chinese Dragon Boat festival with full force after pandemic-related cancellations and social distancing restrictions. Celebrated in China and regions such as Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, the festival also takes place in countries with sizeable Chinese diasporas. The 45 teams competing at Aberdeen included local fishermen, secondary school students, mixed-gender, all-men, and all-women teams that raced in traditional wooden or glass-fibre dragon boats.

Forbes: Judge Fines Two Lawyers For Using Fake Cases From ChatGPT
Two lawyers were fined $5,000 and ordered to reach out to judges after being found to have presented fake cases generated by artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT. They were determined to have acted in bad faith and misled the court by continuing to present the false cases. While New York District Judge P. Kevin Castel stated that using an AI tool for help was not inherently improper, he said the lawyers had abandoned their duty and the record would have been different if they had come clean. Schwartz's law firm is reportedly considering whether to appeal.
