The Federalist Papers: 'Little B****': Boebert, MTG Reportedly Get in Heated Fight on House Floor, Video Captures Exchange
Two MAGA Republicans, Greene and Boebert, got into a heated argument before a House vote. Greene called Boebert a "little b****," accusing her of copying Greene's articles of impeachment against President Biden. The feud between the two has been brewing for months, with Boebert recounting an argument in the Capitol restroom during the fight over the House speakership. Boebert declined to focus on the disagreement, instead focusing on opposing Biden's agenda.
National Review: Russian Court Denies Wall Street Journal Reporter Evan Gershkovich’s Appeal
American journalist Evan Gershkovich will remain in Russia's Lefortovo prison until at least August 30 after a Moscow district court extended his pre-trial detention. Gershkovich was arrested in Yekaterinburg in late March and charged with spying for the US, an accusation he and the Wall Street Journal have vehemently denied. If convicted on espionage charges, Gershkovich faces up to 20 years in prison. The Journal issued a statement condemning the extension and calling for his immediate release. The American ambassador to Russia and Gershkovich's parents also attended the hearing.
The United States has declared Evan Gershkovich as a "wrongfully detained" political prisoner, while the Journalist's parents described him as an innocent journalist who was wrongly detained while carrying out his job. Lynne Tracy, the American Ambassador to Russia, described the charges against Gershkovich as baseless and said such "hostage diplomacy is unacceptable". Human-rights groups believe more than 50 American citizens are still wrongly detained in countries including Russia and China, with Gershkovich being the first American journalist arrested on espionage charges by Russia since the end of the Cold War.

Spectator USA: Why Pride lost the public
The backlash against Pride has become divisive. Even Democrats have seen a drop in acceptance of same-sex relations. Indoctrinating children in gender ideology and the medicalization of children has revived the homophobic trope that “gays are child molesters”. The corporatization of Pride and the hijacking of the movement by gender ideology are putting gay rights in jeopardy. LGBT people are bearers of the brunt of the gender ideology nonsense and the average person is confused. The Biden administration is pushing this ideology. People are afraid to speak out due to the backlash. Big Tech and the state police language and pronouns.
Pride is no longer opt-outable. Trans activism has become coercive and everywhere. The backlash is veering into a moral panic, attacking Gays. It appears that good old-fashioned bigotry is rearing its ugly head once again. Decoupling has begun; is trending almost every day in June. It requires nuance to respect the rights of adults, but debates exist about the age-appropriateness of certain medical treatments for children. LGBT people should call out this mess and show that these people are not a representation of them.

Forbes: Why Progressive Democrats Are Boycotting Modi’s Speech To Congress
The "Squad" of progressive lawmakers boycott Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech to Congress due to his alleged systematic human rights abuses against religious minorities and caste-oppressed communities, emboldening violent Hindu nationalist groups, and censoring journalists and human rights advocates with impunity. Democrats urge President Biden to raise human rights concerns during Modi's visit to the US, while Washington hopes India will become a regional counter-balance to China. India is seen as a key partner in the Asia-Pacific region; however, human rights groups have criticized US President Biden's decision to host Modi due to his government's systematic discrimination and stigmatization of religious and other minorities, particularly Muslims.

The Bank of England is set to raise interest rates later in the day; sterling remained flat at $1.2766. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's remarks to lawmakers were in line with what the central bank said at the policy meeting last week. The US dollar index stood at 102.07, not far from its recent five-week low of 102.00.
Foreign Policy: Aid Is the Next Battleground Between China and the West
Global leaders gather in Paris to discuss the issue of climate change and global poverty. France and Barbados aim to tackle these issues by restructuring developing countries' debt, with China being the largest creditor. Developing economies are struggling to pay back their debt, leading to increased poverty and limited funding for healthcare and education. Western countries hope to counter China's financial influence in the global south by ensuring that they have a seat at the negotiating table when emerging markets' debts are restructured. The World Bank and IMF may also regain their position as the leading multilateral institutions for development finance.

Forbes: It’s Time For Congress To End Federal Policing For Profit
The federal government's civil forfeiture system allows law enforcement agencies to seize property from citizens without charging them with a crime, leading to abuse and misuse of the system. The Fifth Amendment Integrity Restoration (FAIR) Act, H.R. 1525, seeks to reform this system by ending the "equitable sharing" program, funneling forfeiture proceeds into the U.S. Treasury's general fund, and giving victims access to real courts. FAIR would also eliminate the perverse incentives that drive law enforcement agencies to prioritize seizures over preventing and solving crimes. A lawsuit by the Institute for Justice (IJ) has been filed against the FBI to return Linda Martin's money, and IJ is currently helping Cristal Starling and Kermit Warren to contest their own unjust losses.

Forbes: Brayan Bello’s Dazzling Changeup Places Him Among Most Promising Young MLB Starters
Boston Red Sox's Brayan Bello is a promising young pitcher and has shown flashes of promise in the major leagues. He has a great changeup that earns an "A+" grade and is one of the foremost grounder generators in the game. However, his other pitches need some work as his slider has performed poorly and both his sinker and four-seam fastballs are average. Bello needs to develop a viable breaking ball and tweak his pitch usage to approach his potential. Despite this, he has a bright future ahead of him with his possession of a true go-to out pitch.
Fox News: Tennis great Martina Navratilova gives 4-word reaction to Riley Gaines' exchange with activist at hearing
Kelley Robinson, president of Human Rights Campaign, affirmed that males have an edge over females in sports. Robinson tried to use a "news article" about how some men think they could beat Serena Williams in tennis, but Riley Gaines noted that Williams and her sister, Venus, lost to an unknown male player more than a decade ago. Tennis legend Martina Navratilova criticized the exchange on Twitter. Navratilova has been a gay activist and against transgender women competing with biological females in sports. She supported World Athletics for adopting policies to exclude transgender female athletes from women’s competitions. She suggested an “open” category for men who identify as men and women who identify as women and “biological female” and “biological girls” categories. The nine-time Wimbledon champion hoped this would lead to other sports to follow.

The Epoch Times: Is the 'Great Reset' for America Already Here?
The World Economic Forum's so-called "Great Reset" is well underway, and it sounds like a conspiracy theory. However, the resetting of global society is exactly what a Great Reset is all about, and it could have huge implications for the United States. The current world order based on American economic, diplomatic, and military leadership is to be reset, and the financial stability of America is under threat in ways it hasn't been since the Great Depression. As the world moves away from the dollar, the American economy could suffer greatly, as will the American people, from possible hyperinflation, layoffs, and shortages.
The Epoch Times: Early Detection Through the Gut Could Change the Course of Alzheimer’s
Research from the Washington University School of Medicine suggests it may soon be possible to diagnose Alzheimer's disease years before sufferers display symptoms. The scientists claim that examining the microbiome - the bacterial makeup - of the gut can help identify the onset of dementia long before other tests, such as brain scans and cerebrospinal fluid, work. The team screened 164 subjects for Alzheimer’s. They found that the bacteria in the intestines of 49 of them was markedly different, indicating they were more susceptible to the disease. The study supports the theory that early intervention before the development of symptoms might prove more effective.
A new study from the Washington University School of Medicine indicates that examining the intestinal bacteria of individuals may help diagnose Alzheimer's before it is symptomatic. The study found that 49 of the 164 participants in the research had a bacterial composition that indicated they were more vulnerable to the onset of dementia. By screening the microbiome, doctors may be able to intervene before the onset of symptoms, which are often irreversible. The emerging science proposes dietary changes that include eating probiotics regularly to promote a good bacterial balance could help mitigate the disease's symptoms.
The Epoch Times: Tornadoes Tear Through Northwest Texas Town, Killing 4 People and Causing Widespread Damage
Rare combination of multiple tornadoes, hurricane-force winds, and softball-sized hail hit northwest Texas, killing four people and causing significant damage around the town of Matador. The storm later produced 109 mph (175 kph) winds in addition to the 4-inch (10.2-centimeter) or larger hail. There were widespread power outages across the region, with more than 900 customers without power in the Matador and Jayton areas.
