Fox News: A road to impeachment: House Republicans may yet impeach Biden
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy intervened to stop Rep. Lauren Boebert's snap impeachment attempt against President Biden. Boebert used the privileged resolution to impeach Mr. Biden over the southern border and questions about Hunter Biden's ethics. The Epoch Times: Senate Democrats Shoot Down Measure to Block Biden Pistol Brace Rule
A Republican-backed resolution to nullify the ATF's new rule on pistol braces failed in the Senate by one vote. The new rule requires gun owners to register their AR-15-style pistols before June 1, and those who fail to comply can face felony charges. Republicans opposed the rule, arguing that it would turn law-abiding citizens into federal felons. Democrats, on the other hand, claimed that pistol braces can modify firearms into deadly weapons and that easing access to them is a step backward in America's fight against gun violence. Biden pledged to veto the resolution had it passed.

The state has affirmed that they are ready to enforce the death sentence. Nonetheless, Mitchell stated that she is still looking to let her seek execution warrants in the future.

Washington Free Beacon: Bathroom Monitors and No Urinals: California School District Stretches To Protect Kids Without Violating Trans Law
The Templeton Unified School District in California is struggling to balance transgender bathroom access with the privacy and safety concerns of other students. The school district proposed solutions such as installing privacy stalls, eliminating locker rooms, and removing urinals to comply with state laws requiring schools to allow transgender students to use restrooms and locker rooms that correspond with their gender identity. Parents and community members debated the issue, with some suggesting that the conversation was hateful or ignorant while others appealed to science and Christian beliefs. The situation highlights the challenges of implementing transgender inclusion policies in schools and the potential fragmentation rather than inclusion they may foster.

Daily Wire: ‘Titanic’ Director And Diving Expert James Cameron Explains Why The Titan Sub Imploded Underwater
Esteemed director and submersible designer James Cameron has spoken out with regards to the OceanGates’ Titan submersible that imploded underwater. The vessel did so because of a construction made from carbon fiber which has "no strength in compression." Cameron, commenting on the incident that resulted in five passengers dying, noted that there have never been fatalities related to submersible exploration in the past and that the cause of the implosion would have been “an extremely violent event.” Cameron noted that deep submergence was a “mature art” and that there were concerns phrased to the company before regarding the dangers of using a non-certified vessel, making a comparison to the Titanic disaster.

Breitbart: U.S. Coast Guard Confirms ‘Debris Field’ Consistent with ‘Catastrophic Implosion’ of Titanic Sub; All Passengers Presumed Dead
The U.S. Coast Guard confirmed that debris found from the submersible Titan near the Titanic wreck site is consistent with a catastrophic implosion, with all five passengers presumed dead. The debris included parts of the pressure chamber, but could not have come from the Titanic itself, and the implosion would have generated significant sound that sonar buoys would have picked up. OceanGate Expeditions, which operated the Titan, issued a statement acknowledging the loss of the five passengers, who had each paid $250,000 for a seat on the submersible. The company has also come under increased scrutiny for past safety concerns.

The Epoch Times: California's Major Reservoirs Are Overflowing, but Drought Is Not Really Over Yet: Insiders
California's drought has ended due to a barrage of wet winter storms that have left only 5% of the state in moderate drought, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Climate Prediction Center. Yet, much more work is needed to prepare for dry years. Over 26 million-acre-feet of water had to be released into the ocean between October and May this year, as reservoirs were full and had no more storage space. During this time, some farmers were left with no place for their livestock, while many others were affected by the state-mandated restrictions on pumping water for irrigation. Therefore, building more water infrastructure is the solution, which could help release water on dryer days or capture it to prevent flooding.
