The Federalist: FBI Warned ‘People Very Close’ To Hunter Before ‘Day Of Action’
The FBI allegedly tipped off close associates of Hunter and President Biden about an impending IRS criminal investigation into Hunter's tax crimes, thwarting the investigation, according to a whistleblower testimony to the House Ways and Means Committee. The IRS had been investigating Hunter since January 2020 for tax evasion after discovering incriminating material on his infamous laptop.
IRS criminal supervisory special agent Gary Shapley revealed that the Department of Justice provided preferential treatment and obstructed the investigation, preventing agents from making any inquiries into "the big guy" and shielding the Bidens from the consequences of their criminal activity. The DOJ not only interfered during the 2020 election by encouraging Big Tech to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story, but they also interfered by thwarting investigations.
Washington Free Beacon: Hunter Biden Deducted Payments to Hooker and Sex Club From His Taxes, Whistleblower Says
Hunter Biden deducted tens of thousands of dollars he paid to a prostitute and sex club from his taxes, according to an IRS whistleblower. The whistleblower revealed to Congress that Biden improperly deducted the expenses from his 2018 taxes, which were covered under his plea deal with federal prosecutors. The payments made to prostitutes and sex clubs were not only unlawful tax deductions but may also have violated federal sex trafficking laws if the prostitutes crossed state lines. The whistleblower alleged that the IRS located records showing that Biden flew prostitutes across state lines, paying for their travel and hotels. Biden underreported his total income in 2018 by $267,000, resulting in an underpayment of $106,000 in taxes, the investigator said. He made deductions for payments to "no-show employees," including a woman he called his "West Coast assistant." "But she was essentially a prostitute," said the investigator. Another payment of $10,000, labeled as a "golf club member deposit," was actually for a sex club membership.
The Epoch Times: Drugs and Propaganda: Drastic Things Are Happening in Canada
Canada's government is accused of using drugs and propaganda to create a compliant, obedient society. The national government's focus on climate action, gender politics, and diversity and inclusion is infiltrating federal directives, which some critics consider propaganda. Meanwhile, the government has legalised and distributed illicit drugs while also implementing a censorship assault that is jeopardising freedom of expression. The government's censorship promises have been put into action, with the Online Streaming Act, the Online News Act, and the looming Online Harms Act, which is seen as an attack on bedrock principles.
Newsbusters: CNN Calls Schiff Censureship Explosion of Animosity, Neglects Facts
CNN defends Democrat Adam Schiff against Republican censureship despite his false accusations against former President Trump. Schiff accused Trump of colluding with Russia but never provided evidence due to alleged security reasons. Republicans frustrated by Schiff's fabrications disciplined him, but CNN ignored their perspective and instead painted Schiff as a victim of Republican animosity. CNN argued that censuring Schiff was a waste of time and a political statement, failing to address Schiff's disinformation and attributing the censure to Republican boredom. Custom Ink sponsored CNN's anti-Republican Coverage.
Fox News: Ramaswamy condemns political cartoon depicting Republicans as racists against him: 'Shameful'
Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy criticized a Midwest newspaper for publishing a cartoon that shows him being racially attacked by MAGA supporters while he was on the campaign trail. Ramaswamy called the cartoon "shameful" and said it stereotypes conservatives. The candidate has insisted that the left are the only group he has witnessed promoting bigotry.
Forbes: GOP Sen. Rick Scott Weighs Presidential Run, Report Says: Here’s The Full 2024 Primary List
Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) is reportedly considering a run for the GOP's 2024 presidential nomination, which would make him the 12th challenger to former President Donald Trump and the fourth Florida candidate. Trump maintains his lead in polls, despite multiple legal troubles which he attributes to "political witch hunts" by the Biden administration. Other challengers include Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, Mike Pence, Tim Scott, Asa Hutchinson, Nikki Haley, Doug Burgum, Will Hurd, Francis Suarez, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Larry Elder.
The Epoch Times: Key Figure Departs From the Biden Administration's 'Vast Censorship Enterprise'
Rob Flaherty, President Biden’s digital director and head of the Office of Digital Strategy, will leave his position by the end of June 2023. Flaherty has been a target in a lawsuit by Republican attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana who accused the Biden administration of violating the First Amendment by censoring social media users. Due to Flaherty’s imminent departure, his successor will take his place as a defendant in the lawsuit. Rumors suggest that Flaherty will join Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign. Missouri attorney general Eric Schmitt called Flaherty a "central figure" in the Biden administration's "vast censorship machine".
In a lawsuit by Republican attorneys general of Louisiana and Missouri, US officials including Rob Flaherty, President Biden’s digital director, are accused of pressuring social media companies to suspend accounts or take down posts, resulting in censorship. Over 50 officials in the Biden administration were involved in efforts to pressure big tech companies to censor alleged misinformation. A court filing shows Flaherty's departure due to his implication in the lawsuit as it accuses the administration of violating First Amendment rights. Missouri attorney general Eric Schmitt called Flaherty a "central figure" in the Biden administration's "vast censorship machine".
Red State: Explosive Testimony: Whistleblower Confirms FBI Cover-Up of Hunter Biden's Laptop
Whistleblowers claim that the FBI hid information related to Hunter Biden's laptop before the 2020 election. The laptop was allegedly verified as authentic by the FBI back in November 2019 but the agency did not publicly confirm this and instead instructed social media platforms to censor coverage. The laptop was later found to contain potential evidence of tax crimes and law enforcement officials are accused of delaying investigations into Hunter Biden. The allegations reveal the level of corruption in the government, leading to a lack of trust in these institutions.
Fox News: FBI Biden bribery doc never made it to IRS investigators, whistleblower claims: 'Influenced by politics'
A whistleblower claims that the FBI's FD-1023 document, which alleges a bribery scheme involving President Biden and his son Hunter Biden, was never delivered to investigators, even though it was sent to the Delaware US attorney for further investigation. The testimony related to the IRS and Justice Department probe into Hunter Biden's tax affairs by a hearing before the House Ways and Means Committee released a portion of the whistleblower's statement. One whistleblower who spoke to House Republicans testified that decisions in the case seemed to be "influenced by politics." It was Fox News Digital that reported this month that the contents of the FD-1023 allege that Joe Biden was paid $5 million by an executive of the Ukrainian gas firm, Burisma Holdings as part of an alleged bribery scheme.
A second whistleblower was unnamed but said he "initiated the criminal tax investigation" into Hunter Biden as a special agent with the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation who worked under the first whistleblower. Fox News Digital reported this month that the contents of the FD-1023 allege that Joe Biden was paid $5 million by an executive of the Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings. Barr previously told Fox News that during his tenure, the FD-1023 document was reviewed by US Attorney Scott Brady and his team in Pittsburgh as part of a screening process to determine the veracity or relevance of information.

The Imaginative Conservative: How Modernity Diminishes the Human Person
Dr. Wilson believes in the possibility of a glorious future for humankind but our strong secular faith in science and technology, democracy, and capitalism can diminish the human person. The introduction of agriculture had and still has detrimental effects on human life such as health problems and the “worst mistake in the history of the human race,” according to Jared Diamond. The individualism of democracy gives us freedom, isolation, and loneliness. Capitalism increased production by 240-fold, but created a constant desire for more goods, putting us on a treadmill of wanting more and more. Our society is consumed by loneliness and materialism.

Overall, Rowling has been the subject of controversy about her opinions on the transgender movement, with most criticism coming from left-leaning activists. She has spoken out against the medical establishment and the woke left pushing theories surrounding gender on young children.

The Epoch Times: China’s 'One-and-Done' Arms Buyers
China's success as an arms exporter is limited due to their lack of repeat business from their overseas customer base. Despite accounting for around 5% of the global arms-transfer business, China's traditional customer base consists of a very small number of countries. Over the past 20 years, more than 60% of all Chinese arms sales went to Bangladesh, Burma, and Pakistan. This is a stark contrast to the United States who consistently sells arms to over three dozen countries every year. While China has improved their weapons over the years, anecdotal evidence suggests they still have problems, such as their inability to live up to Western, Russian, and Israeli weapons systems in most aspects.
The Epoch Times: Biden Stands by His Comments on Xi Being 'Dictator,' Sees No Change in Relations With Beijing
President Biden stated that his comments calling Chinese leader Xi Jinping a "dictator" will have no real impact on the U.S.–China relationship. Biden stood by his remarks during a joint press conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that choosing or avoiding telling the truth about the U.S.–China relationship is "just not something I'm going to change very much." Biden made comments about Xi during a fundraising event in California on Tuesday. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is widely seen as a threat by members of both parties in the U.S. Congress.

Daily Wire: Biden Signed Off On Declassifying COVID Origins By June 18. He Didn’t Do It.
President Biden has missed the deadline set by the COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023, which required him to declassify information on the origins of the novel coronavirus. The law had required him to reveal any and all information regarding the Wuhan lab's connection to the virus’s origins by June 18. No announcement has subsequently been made, causing a backlash among Republicans on social media. Some have speculated that Biden ignored the deadline intentionally because he didn’t want anything to derail the conversations Secretary of State Antony Blinken was having with Chinese officials.
Senators Mike Braun and Josh Hawley have criticized Biden for ignoring the law he signed into effect, stating that the American people deserve to know what happened. Braun also argued that Blinken’s trip to China was not an excuse for missing the deadline. The hashtag is appropriate since the summary is about the COVID-19 pandemic and the search for its origins.

Fox News: Court hearing granted for Missouri woman imprisoned for 42 years, raising possibility of release
Sandra Hemme, who spent over 40 years in prison for a murder she may not have committed, will have a hearing that could set her free. The Missouri attorney general’s office has agreed to the evidentiary hearing after a petition from the Innocence Project in February.
Hemme gave conflicting statements while a patient in a psychiatric hospital, and the only evidence linking her to the murder were her inconsistent statements. Her lawyers argue that state officials withheld evidence implicating a police officer who was investigated for insurance fraud and later spent time in prison for burglaries, who may have actually been the killer.
PJ Media: BOMBSHELL: Whistleblowers Drop a 'Fat Man' on America's First Crackhead
The Biden family and DOJ are accused of using unconscionable schemes to keep Hunter Biden out of prison for his alleged tax crimes. Whistleblowers claim the DOJ delayed and denied an ongoing investigation to protect Hunter Biden, including blocking search warrants and denying requests to bring charges against him. Hunter ultimately secured a sweetheart deal involving no prison time despite IRS investigators recommending charges. Whistleblowers were punished and removed from the case, and Hunter's attorneys were tipped off to searches of his property. One of the report's highlights is a threatening message allegedly sent by Hunter to one of several Chinese businessmen believed to have sent money to the Biden family.

Daily Wire: Passengers Aboard Dismantled Titanic Sub Likely Died ‘In Milliseconds’
All five people aboard the Titan submersible have died after parts of the vessel were found near the Titanic wreckage. The debris was consistent with "the catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber," and it is likely that the five individuals died from a massive amount of underwater pressure that killed them instantly. It would be difficult to locate the bodies because the debris showed that it imploded due to the intense pressure. The cause of the ship's implosion is currently unknown.

The New American: U.S. Regulators Approves Lab-Grown Chicken for Public Sale
Lab-grown meat made from animal cells has been approved for public sale by US regulators. The products, developed by Upside Foods and Good Meats, are set to appear in restaurants but currently cannot be produced on a mass scale and are more expensive than regular chicken. The firms hope their products, which save the lives of animals and reduce the environmental impact of farming meat, will eventually be sold in supermarkets. Although a poll by NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found half of US adults said they were not likely to eat lab-grown meat, the industry has attracted $1.2bn in investment.
Upside Foods and Good Meats have been cleared by the US Department of Agriculture to sell lab-grown chicken product made from animal cells. The firms claim their meat reduces the environmental impact of meat production and eliminates harm to animals. Cultivated meat can currently only be produced in small quantities and is more expensive than regular chicken meaning it will first be sold in upscale restaurants. A poll by NORC Center for Public Affairs Research showed that over half of US adults were unlikely to consume lab-grown meat, citing that it "just sounds weird" or because they believe it is unsafe.

Red State: Alaska Salmon Fishermen Score Victory Over Environmentalists in Ninth Circuit Case
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld Alaskan commercial fishermen's rights to fish King salmon. The Wildfish Conservancy group from Washington argued the fishery posed a threat to 73 endangered orca whales that reside off the coast of Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. However, the court argued that Alaskan salmon fisheries have negligible impact on the Southern Resident Killer Whale, as any Chinook not caught in the area must travel 700 miles past other predators to reach the whales.
Wildlife management is best managed locally, and Alaska has a tradition of considering wildlife a public resource. Alaskan commercial fishing occurs in the ocean, while local law applies to freshwater rivers and streams. This ruling protects the livelihood of commercial fishermen and allows for the continuation of the Alaskan King salmon fishery. The Ninth Circuit's decision demonstrates the effect that elections have on courts and the importance of factual expertise in legal battles.
