Forbes: Conservative ‘Moms For Liberty’ Chapter Apologizes After Hitler Quoted In Newsletter
Conservative group Moms for Liberty has issued an apology for quoting Adolf Hitler in its first newsletter, which featured the 1935 Nazi-rally quote, “He alone who owns the youth gains the future.” The group has been criticized for its harassment and “anti-government” behavior and for promoting bans on discussions of sexuality, gender and race in schools. The Southern Poverty Law Center has labeled the group “extremist.”
Moms for Liberty has claimed 115,000 members across 275 chapters, and has been found to have a close relationship with the Proud Boys, a white supremacy organization. The Moms for Liberty co-founders expressed regret for quoting Hitler, adding, “Parents are passionate about protecting future generations from tyranny, but Hitler did not need to be quoted to make that point.”
National Review: The ‘New Breed of Republicans’ Is Nothing of the Sort
David Leonhardt argues that a "new breed of Republicans" are rising, breaking with traditional Reaganite views, and emphasizing the regulation of the economy and against inequality. However, the author points out that these figures must consider the dangers of empowering the federal government, which historically leads to self-serving and anti-democratic results. The author argues that American industrial policy and bureaucracy have proven to achieve their intended results only in rare circumstances, and they eventually become corrupt, anti-democratic and self-serving. The author suggests that investing more power in the national government could have immense risks for conservatives, as already existing laws are frequently ignored, leading to potential unconstitutional actions that ravage democracy.
Breitbart: Nolte: Far-Left CNN Stopped Fact-Checking Biden (Until Someone Noticed)
CNN stopped fact-checking Joe Biden for three months because he is a Democrat. CNN reversed the policy after The Washington Free Beacon reported it.
The Epoch Times: House Republicans Sidestep Vote on Boebert's Biden Impeachment Resolution
House Republicans managed to stave off a vote on a resolution to impeach President Joe Biden, instead sending it to two committees and threatening to divide the party. Boebert bypassed the committee procedure and blamed Joe Biden for creating a border crisis that has enabled the horrific trafficking of children. McCarthy urged Republican lawmakers to oppose the measure and emphasized the importance of a thorough investigation.
Boebert argued that sufficient work had not been done by the committees on the subject and hoped the resolution would generate enthusiasm among the Republican base. Comer voiced concerns about the lack of committee involvement, while Grothman suggested building a case before a majority of the American voters. Republicans recently saw a victory in the House when Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) forced a vote on censuring Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) for his handling of investigations into the Trump presidential campaign and the first Trump impeachment.
Breitbart: Chris Murphy: GOP Wants to Legalize Guns Banned for 100 Years
Sen. Chris Murphy accuses Senate Republicans of trying to legalize assault weapons that have been banned for 100 years in a vote to block the ATF AR-pistol stabilizer brace rule. The Firearms Policy Coalition refutes the claim, stating that the vote is about protecting guns with stabilizer braces that were legal to own without registration until June 1, 2023. Short-barrel rifles, which are more regulated, are not illegal.
Fox News: Seattle police officer fed up with crime crisis challenging Democrat incumbent city councilman
Seattle police officer Aaron Marshall is amongst five challengers running to unseat the incumbent in District 7 city council seat; he believes that public safety is imperative and feels that no incumbents on the council, including District 7's Andrew Lewis deserve another term. He has received pushback due to his former role as a police officer, and there was doubt that he would be able to run.
Seattle has struggled with riots, homelessness, and crime in recent years, with Marshall believing that an independent voice and common sense is necessary in city government and the city council to bring about change. He has stated his love for both being a police officer and for the city of Seattle, but he is willing to give up his job because he believes the city is in dire straits.
Fox News: Hunter Biden tax probe began as ‘offshoot’ IRS investigation into amateur pornography shop: whistleblower
The House Ways and Means Committee released testimony from two IRS whistleblowers who claim that DOJ, FBI, and IRS officials interfered in the investigation into Hunter Biden's tax case, known as "Sportsman," which was opened in November 2018. According to the whistleblowers, the investigation had links to an investigation into a foreign-based, amateur online pornography platform, though no further information on the connection was provided. One of the whistleblowers, Gary Shapely Jr., said that decisions made throughout the probe had the effect of benefiting Hunter Biden.
In addition to interference allegations, Shapely testified that in October 2019, the FBI became aware of a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden and suspected that the device may contain evidence of tax crimes. The FBI verified the laptop's authenticity the following month and took possession of the device in December 2019. The laptop repair shop owner, John Paul Mac Isaac, was subpoenaed in December 2019 to testify before the US District Court in Delaware. The revelations regarding Hunter Biden's tax case come days after his plea deal was announced, which will see him plea guilty to two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay federal income tax.
The Federalist: Delaware Prosecutors Hid FBI Bribery Document From IRS

PJ Media: BBC Propaganda: Migrant Welcomed Into England, Learns What Racism Is
A Windrush migrant claims to have experienced discrimination in an English grammar school. While this may be true, anyone with international experience knows that the West is the least racist of all civilizations. Explicit bans on racial discrimination are in place and individual merit is enforced by social convention. In contrast, discrimination is more prevalent in non-Western societies. A headmistress in Thailand once rejected all Filipino candidates and refused a black American candidate, claiming he would scare the children. The school would have been subjected to a lawsuit had it been in the US.
The New American: Gallup: Americans Growing More Socially Conservative - The New American
Americans are growing more socially conservative, according to Gallup's annual Values and Beliefs survey. More Americans now identify as very or conservative on social issues while the number of those identifying as very or liberal has decreased. This may be due to a pushback against LGBTQ agenda and extreme expressions of gender fluidity.
Breitbart: Australia's Ultimatum: Elon Musk's Twitter Has 28 Days to Combat 'Online Hate' or Face Hefty Fines
Australia's eSafety commissioner, Julie Inman Grant, has given Twitter a 28-day ultimatum to take action against online abuse and hate speech, or face daily fines of $475,000. In a move criticized as a threat to free speech, Twitter has been told to prove it is serious about combatting abuse or face charges. Inman Grant said Twitter had dropped the ball on tackling hate, and that the watchdog is "far from being alone in its concern about increasing levels of toxicity and hate on Twitter, particularly targeting marginalized communities." The ultimatum demands that Twitter present a series of steps to prevent online hate and enforce its own rules.

The Epoch Times: JPMorgan Fined $4 Million for Deleting 47 Million Emails: SEC
JPMorgan Chase's broker-dealer arm has been fined $4 million by the SEC for deleting 47 million emails from January 1 to April 23, 2018, some of which were related to subpoenas in regulatory investigations. Although the emails were requested in at least a dozen regulatory probes, JPMorgan Chase launched a project in 2016 to eliminate older communications and documents that were no longer required to be retained. After several glitches, the deletions began after an external vendor taking care of the financial institution's email storage failed to apply the three-year retention setting to Chase emails. As a result, the firm is now unable to comply with at least 12 civil securities-related regulatory probes to comply with subpoenas and document requests for communications that have been deleted.
The Epoch Times: MPs Question Finance Officials on Ottawa's Activities With Asian Infrastructure Bank
Canadian officials from the Department of Finance declined to answer MPs' questions regarding the government's recent suspension of activity with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced on June 14 that Ottawa was ceasing all activities with the AIIB while it investigates allegations made by the bank’s Canadian global communications director, Bob Pickard, after declaring his resignation. Pickard alleged that the AIIB is “dominated” by the Chinese Communist Party. The government’s action on the matter comes about six years after Parliament passed the “Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Agreement Act” in 2017, which permitted the Finance Department to buy up to US$375 million worth of AIIB shares.

Breitbart: U.N. ‘Expert’: Religious Liberty Must Yield to LGBT Demands
The U.N.'s "Independent Expert on protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity" has called on religious communities to accept claims made by LGBT people to avoid discrimination charges. Victor Madrigal-Borloz argues that LGBT acceptance should not clash with "freedom of religion or belief" and that it should be beyond the scope to interpret religious doctrines as immoral sins. Specifically criticizing the US, Madrigal-Borloz also stated that religious-based exemptions from laws requiring participation in LGBT activities, such as foster care and adoption, should not be allowed. The expert held up the example of "the voices and practices of inclusive communities", where same-sex marriage and gender fluidity are accepted.

The Titanic submariners' tragic expedition has garnered media attention due to its audacious nature, despite being morbidly curious. As a culture, we need more risk-taking and less comfort with the status quo.

Despite believing that intimacy coordinators may be helpful, Lumley thinks movies and TV shows should abandon simulated sex scenes altogether.
