Fox News: McCarthy sidelines Lauren Boebert's push for quick vote on Biden impeachment
The House voted to send a resolution to impeach President Biden back to committees, with every "yes" vote coming from Republicans. Rep. Lauren Boebert's privileged resolution, which aimed to impeach Biden over the border crisis, spurred GOP leaders to sidestep an immediate vote in favor of regular committee procedures. Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Boebert managed to work around the situation, though the compromise was met with backlash from Democrats.
Boebert and McCarthy's deal to advance the impeachment process against President Biden procedurally has caused major tension between House GOP leadership and hardliners. This workaround allows impeachment proceedings to go through traditional institutional channels and build evidence at the committee level. Democrats accused Republicans of weaponizing the impeachment process against the president, calling the move a political stunt that debases the House's most grave constitutional duty.

Breitbart: GOP Rep. Perry: Pro-Life Activist Arrested at His Home Would Probably Love to Have Gotten Hunter Biden Treatment
Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) criticized the plea deal reached by President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, stating that a pro-life activist who was arrested and later acquitted probably would have loved the "sweetheart" treatment Hunter received. Perry pointed out that Hunter will plead guilty to just a couple of minor charges and walk away from a gun charge, despite allegedly being involved in criminal activity, such as influence-peddling and failing to pay taxes on millions of dollars.
Daily Wire: Ted Cruz Stumps Human Rights Campaign Pres. With Preschool-Level Question
Senator Ted Cruz questioned the president of the Human Rights Campaign during a hearing on defending the civil rights of LGBTQ+ Americans. Cruz asked HRC President Kelley Robinson whether there was any difference between men and women, and when she failed to answer, he asked why there were separate sports teams for women. Robinson evaded the question multiple times, and Cruz eventually asked why women’s sports exist if there is no difference between men and women. The hearing discussed how civil rights laws can protect LGBTQ+ people from discrimination, including in employment, housing, and public accommodations.
Breitbart: Hawley: Let's Get to the Real Story --- Did Joe Biden Get Bribed by Burisma?
Sen. Josh Hawley accused the White House of trying to distract from the Hunter Biden saga to minimize the bribery allegations faced by President Joe Biden and his son. Hawley claimed that credible sources, including a whistleblower at the FBI, alleged that Joe Biden was bribed by a foreign agent while serving as the vice president. He demanded that the White House release the source documents and let the American people decide. The White House, according to Hawley, was trying to hide and dissemble instead.
PJ Media: The Hit(Piece)s Keep Coming: New York Times Smears RFK Jr. as Russian Puppet, COVID Conspiracist
Democratic voters express skepticism about President Biden's run for re-election in the upcoming primaries. Despite most top Democrats supporting him and the focus of the Republican nomination fight revolving around Trump's legal troubles, Biden faces opposition from upstart rivals like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has garnered as much as 20% support in polls despite spreading conspiracy theories and consorting with right-wing figures. To counter this, the White House is planning a summer of events promoting Biden's legislative achievements, and he has also accepted endorsements from labor and environmental organizations. Meanwhile, Kennedy's anti-vaccine views and support for conspiracies would sit poorly with most Democrats, and some consider him a real, viable threat to winning the nomination.
RFK Jr. is a hopeful candidate in the upcoming primaries, with the potential to win the nomination if enough independent and conservative voters register in closed primary states and show up in force. His candidacy is a real threat to the power structure, with the combination of him and Trump as the respective nominees of the two major parties presenting a formidable challenge. However, the Deep State and corporate state media are going to great lengths to stop them, throwing all their resources at hit pieces against RFK Jr. and aiming to push through a controllable establishment candidate instead. The 2024 race is existential to the continued development of the multinational, neoliberal technocracy, and Biden's opposition from the left is a glaring symbol of his weaknesses.
The New American: Authorities Arrest Suspected Arsonist for Wildfire Blamed on Climate Change - The New American
Edward Wackerman, a former firefighter and Democratic donor, has been arrested for starting the Oak Fire in Mariposa County, California, which destroyed over 120 homes in July 2022. Wackerman faces several felony counts, including aggravated arson. The Washington Free Beacon found that Wackerman has donated $1,775 to Democratic candidates since 2020, including failed U.S. Senate candidate Tim Ryan’s campaign in 2022 and $400 to the disgraced liberal super PAC, the Lincoln Project. This is not the first time that people on the political left have been accused of arson relating to wildfires, with past incidents including another arson in 2021, and climate activists incorrectly attributing the fires to climate change.
American Thinker: Justin Trudeau dropped $61,000 in taxpayer money for a 5-star hotel stay to attend an anti-poverty gala in NYC
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended a star-studded anti-poverty event in New York City that cost taxpayers over $61,000 in hotel costs, while civil servants continued to strike, government backlogs grew, and prices continued to rise. The Global Citizen NOW summit gave an opportunity for celebrities, activists, business, and political leaders to take urgent action to end extreme poverty. However, critics argue Trudeau's trip made it clear the public was paying for the PM to hobnob with celebrities while paying for public services that were not at work.
Daily Wire: Whistleblowers Allege Biden Admin Blocked Prosecutors From Filing Charges Against Hunter Biden Twice Last Year
Two IRS whistleblowers claim that evidence of Hunter Biden's tax crimes were buried by President Joe Biden's DOJ. U.S. Attorney David Weiss attempted to bring charges against him last year, but was denied both times.
Breitbart: Texas Senate Announces Rules for AG Paxton's Impeachment Trial
Texas Senate passed rules for the impeachment trial of Attorney General Ken Paxton. The trial will begin on September 5 and the Texas Constitution requires a vote of two-thirds of present Senators for conviction. Rule 31 states that Senator Angela Paxton, the wife of AG Paxton, will be present but not allowed to vote due to conflict of interest.
PJ Media: Duh: AI Says Conservative Women Are More Attractive Than Liberal Women
Conservative women are more attractive and happier than their liberal counterparts, according to a recent Danish study. Utilizing an artificial intelligence model to analyze photographs of conservative and liberal female politicians, the study concluded that conservative women are more attractive and exhibit greater happiness. The researchers found that this correlation between attractiveness and conservatism has previously been highlighted in studies using human raters. The study similarly found that left-leaning politicians appeared less happy than conservative politicians.
The Blaze: Whitlock: Kelley Robinson, Human Rights Campaign president and transgender advocate, lies like all other oppressors
The third season of "The Wire" highlights the corrupting nature of power and draws parallels between violent drug gangs and George W. Bush's invasion of Iraq. The feminist, LGBTQ, and social justice movements fight on lies, and their pursuit of power corrupts them. Their tactics are exemplified by Kelley Robinson, president of the Human Rights Campaign, who dodged questions about whether biological men have an unfair advantage in women's sports and thus perpetuated a lie. The oppressed use righteousness and truth as a weapon of war against their oppressors, who lie and fight on lies.

Red State: Bombshell New Information on Hunter Biden Investigation Says the Fix Was in, Merrick Garland Directly Implicated
Hunter Biden received a slap on the wrist now allegations of the Department of Justice's interference in the matter have surfaced. House Ways & Means Chair Jason Smith alleged that IRS whistleblowers recommended multiple felony charges against Hunter Biden amounting to "$2.2 million in unreported tax on global income…from Ukraine, Romania, and China". It is suggested that the DOJ stopped US Attorney of Delaware David Weiss twice from filing charges in California and Washington, DC, going against the Attorney General's statements, and the IRS alerted Hunter Biden's lawyer before certain searches occurred which may have allowed for evidence to be removed. The investigation experienced considerable issues, and it appears that Hunter Biden may have received special treatment due to being the president's son.
Fox News: Biden mocked for raising hand to heart for Indian national anthem: ‘Funny if it weren't so sad'
President Biden mistakenly placed his hand over his heart during the Indian national anthem while meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House. Despite being told that the Indian anthem would play first, Biden raised his hand to his chest as soon as the music started and only lowered it once he realized his mistake. Twitter users, including Republicans and conservatives, ridiculed the gaffe, with some calling Biden an “idiot” and questioning his mental state.
Breitbart: Pollak: Trump's Fox Interview 'Boxes in' the DOJ
President Trump's interview with Fox News' Bret Baier has caused controversy, with some claiming that he incriminated himself or obstructed justice. However, the author argues that the president "boxed in" the Department of Justice by revealing information about a secret, allegedly defensible document. The trial of a former president and opposition candidate must be proven fair and not an abuse of the justice system.

The Federalist Papers: Lamestream Media Finds Way to Tie Titanic Sub Disaster to Illegal Immigration
The possible demise of a submersible carrying wealthy tourists to the wreckage of the Titanic has led some in the media to contrast it with a tragedy in which victims were migrants unlawfully travelling by boat. The submersible, which had five people aboard, went missing on 17 June, with oxygen supplies expected to run out on 22 June. The contrasting incident involved a vessel carrying hundreds of migrants, in which several were lost, having been overloaded by smugglers seeking to transport illegal immigrants. The latter case highlights criminal exploitation, while the former raises troubling questions about the limits of technology.
National Review: The Corner: Unwilling Members of the Cis-terhood
J.K. Rowling objects to being labeled a "cisgender woman," a term used to describe non-trans people. Elon Musk's Twitter policy is to limit or discipline accounts that use the term "cisgender" as a slur. Some argue that being labeled "cisgender" is just factual, but it can still impose metaphysics on those who reject it. The government may start identifying people primarily by their political ideology or gender, and people need to begin sharpening the argument against it.

Washington Free Beacon: China Says US Should Make Amends After Biden Calls Xi Jinping 'Dictator'
China's ambassador to Washington has protested against Joe Biden's reference to Chinese leader Xi Jinping as a "dictator," made during a fundraising event on Tuesday. The embassy warned the United States should immediately undo the "negative impact" of its remarks, or "bear all the consequences" and said the Chinese government and people "will resolutely respond." Despite the disagreement, both nations seek improved relations. The US State Department expects "diplomatic engagements" with China in due course, but will not shy away from being "blunt and forthright about our differences."
Fox News: Biden surprises US officials after revealing sensitive info on China at big-dollar fundraiser: report
President Biden shared sensitive information about a Chinese spy balloon with donors at a California fundraiser, including that Chinese President Xi Jinping was embarrassed when it was shot down by the United States. He also referred to Xi as a dictator, angering Chinese officials. The Pentagon referred questions to the White House, which has yet to comment.
Newsbusters: DARK: NewsNations Displays ‘Countdown’ to Titanic Sub Passengers Dying
A submersible carrying five people is running out of oxygen, and a timer counting down the oxygen supply appeared on NewsNation. Host Ashleigh Banfield criticized the U.S. government for not launching a rescue effort sooner, and the Coast Guard did not confirm the banging sound was heard until 21 hours after it was first reported. The timer may be an attempt to shame officials over their slow response time. However, the graphic comes off as sensationalist and there could have been better ways to address the situation.

Fox News: Fire chiefs call for enhanced training as Ohio train derailment raises concerns on hazardous chemicals
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is holding a hearing on the emergency response to February’s train derailment in Ohio. Firefighters are requesting more training on how to handle hazardous materials. The firefighters, mostly volunteers, had only received 36 hours of training, and none of it had included hazardous materials. The decision was made to burn the toxic vinyl chloride to prevent explosion and fire, releasing a towering black plume of smoke that led to the evacuation of almost half of East Palestine. The firefighting departments did not receive immediate information on the train’s contents, as they did not have access to the AskRail app. Officials claimed that the air and water remained safe, but some residents were concerned of the aftermath’s potential health effects.
Norfolk Southern spent $62 million on cleanup and committed to contribute to costs related to the disaster. The company’s CEO apologized for the derailment in two different Senate hearings and was grilled on the company’s response to railroad safety concerns since the accident, including documents recording its decision to reduce its workforce and cut costs. All 21 Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability co-signed a letter criticizing Norfolk Southern's efforts to use the ongoing NTSB investigation as a shield to impede congressional oversight, and that the out-of-state company is running the risk of endangering lives, a charge the railroad denied. The incident has raised concerns over how major organizations approach risk management and cost-cutting under safety concerns.
The Epoch Times: Industry Expert Reveals What Bud Light Must Do to Get Its Customers Back
Bud Light's sales have seen significant decline after partnering with transgender TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney, resulting in a boycott of the company. Brand strategist Ethan Stienstra believes that Bud Light should stick to its "funny, witty, and a little sophomoric" brand positioning that they have strayed from. Bud Light should "poke fun at" themselves and say they were "wrong" to regain their base. It's a difficult time for Anheuser-Busch as Budweiser sales fell 10%, Natural Light fell 2.3%, and Michelob Ultra fell 2.4%. The month of May saw Bud Light lose its No. 1 spot in the US.

The Epoch Times: Woke Sports? Consider the Big Leagues’ Longstanding Great Awakening
The University of Oklahoma softball team surprised reporters by expressing their Christian beliefs over their athletic accomplishments at the College World Series. Despite the media's focus on culture-war flareups in sports, athletes' religiosity is commonly overlooked. In today's atmosphere of a more moderate identification with woke causes, conservative Christian conviction in sport is a sleeping giant that could complicate progressive agendas for national pastimes. The comments of athletes and Christian protesters display the tension between religious beliefs and fan bases that could create controversy.
Daily Wire: Texas Biology Professor Says He Was Fired After Teaching About Sex Differences
A Christian biology professor was fired from his position at St. Philip’s College in Texas after being accused of “religious preaching” during class. Lawyers for Dr. Johnson Varkey have demanded that he be reinstated to his adjunct professor position, arguing that his removal violated federal and state law and targeted his First Amendment rights. Varkey taught anatomy and physiology at the school for over 20 years and was accused of making “discriminatory comments” during his teaching in the fall of 2022 regarding sexual differences. Several students walked out of his lecture later that month, and he was fired in January 2023.

The Epoch Times: The Semmelweis Reflex
Ignaz Semmelweis demonstrated that doctors' unwashed hands were contributing to high maternal mortality rates in the 1800s. His discovery was met with disbelief and rejection by medical authorities, leading to his eventual institutionalization and death. The Semmelweis Reflex bias, or the tendency to reject new information that challenges our beliefs, is still prevalent today in areas ranging from politics to personal relationships. To avoid this bias, we must be willing to consider new information, experiment with it, and make changes if it proves successful.

Gender equity disparities also extend beyond paychecks, with concerns over training facilities, pitch quality, recovery facilities, unpaid leave from outside employment, and medical care. Fox News: US safety agency to require automatic emergency braking on heavy trucks, buses
The US will require heavy trucks and buses to include automatic emergency braking within five years, in a move that is expected to prevent nearly 20,000 crashes and save at least 155 lives a year. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has previously been reluctant to impose such regulations due to changes in technology. The actions represent the traffic safety agency's latest efforts to regulate electronic systems that take on certain driver tasks. The proposed rule applies to new trucks and buses weighing at least 10,000 pounds, and is expected to become final next year .
AEB systems use forward-facing cameras and sensors to detect when a crash is imminent, automatically applying the brakes if the driver has not done so, or supplementing driver actions. The proposed standard would require the technology to work at speeds ranging from 6-50 mph. The American Trucking Associations supported the announcement: "the trucking industry supports the use of proven safety technology like automatic emergency braking", said Dan Horvath, the group’s vice president of safety policy. According to NHTSA statistics, there are around 60,000 rear-end crashes a year in which a heavy truck or bus is the striking vehicle.
The Epoch Times: Councils Rolls Out Parking Charges Based on Emissions-Based Pricing
Lambeth Council has introduced new parking charges based on carbon emissions in a bid to reduce motor vehicle use and encourage sustainable alternatives such as public transport, cycling, and walking. The charges, which cover both residential and street parking, are expected to be followed by other councils across the country as they work towards legally binding climate targets of reaching net zero by 2050. However, critics have labelled the charges as unnecessary and vindictive, with concerns raised over the impact on low-income and small business drivers. Howard Cox, founder of FairFuelUK, has criticised the move, suggesting that it is part of a growing number of anti-driver policies emerging across the country and could lead to drivers being less likely to vote for mainstream political parties in future.
