Over 3,300 Foreign Nationals Flagged as Security Risks Allowed Into Canada From 2014-2019: Audit
Over 3,300 foreign nationals flagged as security risks by Canada's Border Services Agency were allowed entry by the Immigration Department from 2014 to 2019. The Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada gave non-favourable recommendations to over 7,670 migration applicants in the same period. CBSA issued recommendations for inadmissibility concerns that included espionage, subversion, terrorism, and membership in organisations involved in such acts or violence. IRCC granted entry based on alleged disagreements with CBSA’s assessment of applicants’ inadmissibility, public policy exemption based on National Interest Letter, and incomplete applications.

The Epoch Times: Why Biological Men Are Entering Women’s Prisons Across America: Jan’s Interview With Libby Emmons
Why Biological Men Are Entering Women’s Prisons Across America: Jan’s Interview With Libby Emmons
Due to changes in law and the definition of woman by the Biden administration, biological men are entering female prisons by claiming to be women, according to Libby Emmons, Editor-in-Chief of The Post Millennial. The men may be seeking better housing options in less secure female prisons and have often committed crimes against women in male prisons. The California Transgender Respect, Agency, and Dignity Act, signed into law by Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom in 2020, allows men identifying as female to be housed in women’s prisons, creating chaos and safety concerns among female inmates.

Breitbart: Report: Joe Biden's 2024 Campaign Struggles to Raise Cash
Report: Joe Biden's 2024 Campaign Struggles to Raise Cash
President Joe Biden's 2024 campaign fundraising is reportedly causing anxiety among supporters as it is not going as strong as hoped. Biden's goal is to raise around $2 billion, but the picture will become clearer next month after Federal Election Commission reports. Early anxiety was dismissed as typical fundraising tactics, but two people from California reportedly joked that the Democrats were emailing and calling the same list, ensuring the low return rate they saw.

Biden has time and little immediate need to spend as he doesn't have a primary, allowing him to save money for next year's election. Polling appears to mirror Biden's fundraising numbers, with less than a quarter of Democrats feeling excited about his 2024 campaign for re-election in April, but Biden still has time to improve his numbers.

DeSantis went on to emphasize the importance of respecting the primary process and people’s decisions in the nomination race, while indicating his confidence that his decisions would be positive for them. DeSantis is loaded for bear on the issue of COVID, with Trump surrogates often echoing Trump’s change in tune on how DeSantis managed his state versus ex-NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

E-Scooter Riders Could Face up to 2 Years in Prison for Causing Injuries, Death
E-scooter riders in the UK could face up to two years in jail if they injure or kill pedestrians through wanton or furious driving. Punishments could range from a fine to up to two years in custody for riders found guilty of causing injury through wanton or furious driving, including those using bicycles and scooters. This new guidance comes after a Department for Transport report found that 240 pedestrians in Britain were injured or killed as a result of collisions with e-scooters in 2022. The guidance applies only to offenders aged 18 and above and riders who cause serious harm to vulnerable road users, including pedestrians and cyclists, may face aggravating factors.

'Yellowstone' Boss Reveals Woke Entertainment Giant Rejected Hit Show for Being Too 'Middle America'
Paramount show "Yellowstone" was originally proposed to HBO, but was rejected for being too "Middle America." The show's creator, Taylor Sheridan, revealed that an HBO vice president said the show was a "step backward" and that people should not be living in rural Montana. This attitude towards Middle America reflects the disdain that some coastal elites have for conservative, blue-collar Americans. Despite being rejected by HBO, "Yellowstone" proved to be a massive success on Paramount's streaming service, with two spinoff series and a third in the works.

The 'Girl Scouts have lost their way,' asserts faith-based alternative for young women
The Girl Scouts USA have been criticized for an online form circulating on social media that parents have criticised for including questions related to girls’ use of masculine pronouns, requesting that parents specify their children's preferred pronouns. The form also apparently asked if parents would prefer “gender inclusive” sleep arrangements while their children are at camp. A spokesperson for GSUSA said, "We’re proud that Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is an inclusive organization that uplifts all girls." American Heritage Girls, a faith-based alternative scouting group, spoke out against the Girl Scouts' approach, founder Patti Garibay stated that, "so many alumnae have grieved that Girl Scouts have lost their way as they witness a true loss of a national treasure" and that "Is today's GSUSA the Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts — or something in between?" She added that she had started American Heritage Girls "for this very reason."

The American Mind: The Ukrainian Tragedy
The Ukrainian Tragedy
The catastrophic illusions of the architects of the Second Gulf War were marked by ignorance of the facts on the ground, and the same has occurred in the Russo-Ukrainian War, where there has yet to be an acknowledgement of the deep divide in Ukraine between the Galician and Muscovite parties. Since the Maidan Revolution of 2014, the Galician Party has been dominant, advocating a comprehensive de-Russification of Ukraine, leading to brutality on both sides of the conflict. Meanwhile, the Western response has been clouded by a mix of historical ignorance and utopian expectations, leading to little or no soul-searching about the West's own role in the tragedy.

Solzhenitsyn represents a fundamental example for the future of a decent Russia, characterized by an unwavering defense of conscience and human dignity, a humane, moderate, and self-limiting nationalism or patriotism, and a desire for equitable dealings between Russia and Ukraine. Extreme Ukrainian nationalists hated him and all things Russian, but he never reciprocated such hatred. We in the United States must not associate legitimate opposition to the Russian invasion of Ukraine with enduring animosity to all things Russian or support for the exclusion of Russia from the community of nations. Serious investigation and reflection upon our own culpability in the tragedy is necessary if we are not to give rise to a dangerous and eventually tragic escalation of enmity and conflict between East and West.

EXCLUSIVE: China Bankrolling Irish University's €70 Million Science Centre
Dublin City University has received over €4 million in donations for its state-of-the-art science centre, the Polaris project. Majority of the donations were made by wealthy Chinese investors through the defunct Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP), a cash-for-visa scheme that allowed foreign investors outside the European Union to have residency in Ireland in return for huge investments. Concerns have been raised by campaigners about China's influence on Ireland, particularly in its higher education sector. The Polaris facility is set to be completed in 2024 and will house DCU's entire School of Health and Human Performance and accommodate over 3,000 additional STEM students.

Foreign Policy: BRICS Faces a Reckoning
BRICS Faces a Reckoning
BRICS, the economic and political alliance of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, is facing an internal disagreement over whether to expand its membership. China and Russia have been pushing for expansion, while Brazil and India are more skeptical. One of the main concerns is that the addition of smaller powers could make BRICS positions more China-centric. Despite their differences, BRICS members value the group for its strategic benefits, access to China, and diplomatic support. However, the disagreement over enlargement will be a test of BRICS identity in the face of rising Chinese influence.

Harris Group Will Get Half A Billion Dollars Of Tax Deductions From Buying Washington Commanders
The ownership group of the Washington Commanders, including billionaires and Magic Johnson, are set to receive major tax write-offs as part of the $6 billion purchase. U.S. tax law requires that intangible assets are amortizable for tax purposes, allowing the majority of the purchase to be written off (deductible from earnings) over 15 years. The buyers can apply the write-off to their earnings outside of football if there are earnings to write down. The NFL could vote on the sale of the Commanders in late July.

Human Events: Australia invokes online censorship laws to curb ‘hate’ on Twitter
Australia invokes online censorship laws to curb ‘hate’ on
Twitter
Australia's eSafety Commissioner has demanded that Twitter CEO Elon Musk explain how the platform is tackling online hate, warning that Twitter could face fines of $475,000 Australian. The Commissioner's office has received more complaints of online hate from Twitter than any other social media platform over the last year and suggested that the situation has worsened since Musk took over the company. The Commissioner claims that Twitter has reinstated previously banned or suspended accounts, some with over a million followers, and warned of potential amplification of hate.

In addition to targeting online hate, Australia's eSafety Commission has censored a lactation specialist for saying only women breastfeed, deeming her comments offensive to trans-identified people, and threatened women's magazine Reduxx for identifying a male soccer player who identifies as a woman and has injured female players. These actions have drawn criticism for being illiberal and overstepping free speech boundaries.

Premier Seeks to Ban Livestreamed Climate Protests
NSW Premier Chris Minns will meet with Facebook representatives and police to discuss blocking climate activists from live-streaming illegal protests on social media. The move comes after a week of coordinated protests targeting east coast coal ports, with activists relying on social media to broadcast their involvement. Minns said the protesters are putting lives at risk and diverting rescue agencies from other emergencies. A spokesperson for Blockade Australia, a group involved in the protests, denounced the proposed livestream ban, saying "silencing protests on Facebook will not cool the planet." Opposition Leader Mark Speakman supported an end to protester live-streams, balancing the right to free speech with other concerns. Crossbencher Alex Greenwich expressed concern about the ban, stating that protest is an important part of political expression.
