The Epoch Times: RFK Jr. Has Democrats Worried About Appearance at Libertarian Festival
New Hampshire Democratic Party urges Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to cancel his speech at PorcFest, a libertarian event sponsored by the Free State Project. Head organizer Dennis Pratt expects Kennedy to be one of the biggest draws in the festival’s history. Kennedy post on social media accusing “Democratic Party Bosses” of trying to censor him and control the primaries’ outcome.
PJ Media: America Wakes Up to Woke
Wokeness, a coalition of the oppressed, aimed to find solidarity in victimhood and hold white males responsible for alleged American sins. However, the movement is facing challenges as Americans prioritize class over race and gender, and see wokeism as anti-civilizational. Wokeism's messaging is seen as regressive and dangerous, draining American resources while other nations are building their military and infrastructure.
Townhall: What Is the DeSantis Strategy?
Trump's strategy is to present himself as the inevitable GOP nominee, but DeSantis is silently preparing for a duration and attrition war through a large ground game and strong fundraising. DeSantis is not looking for a decisive battle with Trump, but simply to outlast him and win over voters who prefer his policies but are tired of Trump's hyperbole and insults. DeSantis's strategy is focused on gaining a shock win in Iowa and New Hampshire and puncturing Trump's air of inevitability.

The Epoch Times: Russia Says It Downed 3 Drones Outside Moscow, Suspects It Was Attack by Ukraine
Russian authorities claim that two drones were shot down outside Moscow by "the Kyiv regime" in what is thought to be an attempt by Ukraine to strike targets inside Russia during Kyiv's latest counteroffensive. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the Ukrainian forces were regrouping after what he described as a failed counteroffensive and could be preparing new attempts to attack Russian positions. Rail lines through Crimea are crucial for supplying Russian forces at the front line in southern and eastern Ukraine and were briefly disrupted on Wednesday due to an apparent sabotage operation.
The EU agreed on a new package of sanctions against Russia over the war, including measures aimed at preventing third countries and businesses from circumventing existing sanctions. Ukraine's allies also pledged several billion dollars in non-military aid to rebuild its war-ravaged infrastructure, fight corruption and help pave the country's road to membership of the European Union. There was also a Ukraine Recovery Conference in London where diplomats and political leaders urged private-sector companies to invest and revive an economy battered by the war.

The Epoch Times: Australia’s Banks Caught up in Russian Cyber Attack
Major Australian banks have been targeted by Russian cybercriminal group AlphaV, following their April 2021 cyberattack on law firm HWL Ebsworth. While ANZ, CBA, NAB and Westpac have sought legal assistance from HWL Ebsworth, a statement gave assurances that their systems had not been compromised. While only HWL Ebsworth’s database has been breached, there are concerns that sensitive data will be compromised, including company credentials and confidential legal advice. It is also feared that over 40 Australian government entities, including the Department of Home Affairs, the Defence Department and the Australian Federal Police, have been impacted by the breach.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and AMP, an Australian financial services company, are confirmed clients of HWL Ebsworth and have been working alongside the law firm to understand and address the situation, indicating that the breadth of affected companies could still emerge. AlphV hacked four terabytes worth of company information from law firm HWL Ebsworth and around 1.45 terabytes of sensitive information were published by the group on the dark web. An injunction was granted by the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 12 June to prevent AlphV from disclosing the stolen data, but there are “practical limits” to enforcing the injunction, according to Juan Martinez, the managing partner of HWL Ebsworth. Meanwhile, the Australian government has established a working group to analyse the extent of the cyberattack.
Townhall: China's Economy and America's Opportunity
The US should respond to the threat of Chinese expansionism by hitting China's economy. Investment in China is stagnating, exports are shrinking, and unemployment is on the rise. America's trade deficit with China is $355.3 billion, a $45 billion increase from last year. The US ought to unite in a bipartisan and patriotic effort to slow and even stop China's plans for world domination. This would require the US to wean itself from China by starting to make more things in this country, starting with prescription drugs. If we don't start now, it might already be too late.

The Epoch Times: Australians Remain Frosty Towards China as Wariness Over Taiwan Military Threat Grows
Over 50% of Australians would not support physically entering the conflict if military conflict broke out between Beijing and Washington over Taiwan, but remain willing to support Taiwan through accepting refugees, imposing sanctions on Beijing, supplying military aid, and using the Australian Navy to prevent China blockading the region. Australians continue to see China as a security threat, with 13% trusting the country. Furthermore, Australians believe Russia, like China, is not able to act responsibly in the world, causing 85% to support accepting Ukraine refugees, and over three-quarters to support providing military aid to Ukraine.
70% of Australians believe the nation needs to ensure that its supply chains run through friendly countries even if that means higher prices, with 29% wanting to keep costs as low as possible, even if that means supply chains go through unfriendly countries. This comes after Australia faced significant blow to export industry when the CCP slapped arbitrary trade sanctions on various Australian products in retaliation to the Morrison government’s request for an independent investigation into the origins of COVID-19, costing an estimated $20 billion. Australians remain concerned about the potential for Beijing to open a military base in a Pacific Island country after the Solomon Islands signed a security deal with Beijing allowing troops, weapons, and naval ships to be stationed within their territory.

The Epoch Times: Taiwan Reports Chinese Aircraft Carrier Sailed Through Strait
The Chinese Shandong sailed through Taiwan Strait as tensions rise over the disputed territory claimed by both China and Taiwan. Taiwan's defence ministry dispatched forces to monitor the vessel, which participated in military drills around Taiwan in April. China has increased military activities near the island, hoping to enforce its control over the democratic state.

The Epoch Times: Treating the Common Cold With Telehealth, Brought to You by COVID-Era Madness
Telehealth has become a permanent feature of Australia's universal healthcare program, Medicare, due to the pandemic. Telehealth services were provided to 18 million patients in Australia between March 2020 and July 2022, making a significant impact on Medicare and playing a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of care for countless Australian patients. However, telehealth is often no more than a convenient method to obtain an electronic prescription, enabling patients to buy their medicines, and telehealth tends to be overused, resulting in the squandering of financial resources, contributing to the bureaucratic breakdown of the medical system. People who are suffering from a common cold are almost regarded as appallingly as people who suffer from leprosy and are positively discouraged from coming into the clinic.
The Epoch Times: California Bill Allowing Minors to Consent to Mental Health Care Stirs Controversy Amid Gender Ideology Debate
The California senate judiciary committee passed Assembly Bill 665, which would allow children as young as 12 to get mental health counseling or place themselves in a group home without parental consent. Opponents called it “child emancipation” and “state-sanctioned kidnapping.” Wendy Minas, a Los Angeles mother, said the bill would break apart families during a child’s tough years, while attorney Nicole Pearson claimed the bill was too broad and unclear. Supporters said youth on Medi-Cal, predominantly young people of color and those experiencing poverty, must meet significantly higher levels of acuity to access mental health care. The bill now waits for approval from the Assembly appropriations committee.

Fox News: GREG GUTFELD: Democrats turned a city worth billions into a third-world hellhole
San Francisco stopped releasing mug shots, claiming they are racist. This Democratic policy ignores crime, allowing violent criminals to roam free and children to die. It's time for cops to ignore the mayors and do their job, and for people to thank them when they get the job done.

The Epoch Times: Resilient Purple Fairywrens Survive Record Flooding
The majority of the endangered purple-crowned fairywrens survived a devastating flood in Western Australia and are still breeding, according to researchers from Monash University. While the flood did impact the population, 74% of the adult birds are still alive and 24 out of the 67 breeding groups had fledglings accompanying adult birds, with multiple wrens were also found to be breeding one month later than normal. The birds are threatened by increased flood frequency and habitat degradation, among other factors, but researchers remain hopeful for the population's future .
Australian birds have been found to teach their unhatched chicks a unique tune that helps parents distinguish their babies from parasitic cuckoos. Dubbed "incubation calls," these calls are made up of two tonal notes that are repeated. If the begging calls of the nestlings match the incubation calls, parents and others attending will feed them. The researchers discovered this while studying the calls of mothers to their eggs, finding the hatchlings' calls matched those of their foster mother rather than their biological mother, proving prenatal learning.
