Breitbart: Sanctuary Country: Biden Slashes Requests for Custody of Criminal Illegals
Sanctuary Country: Biden Slashes Requests for Custody of Criminal Illegals
President Biden's DHS has drastically reduced the number of ICE detainers issued to local police to turn over criminal illegal aliens in their custody for arrest and deportation from the US. This data, collected by TRAC, shows detainers dropped from 15k/month to 3.8k by September 2021. This data backs up prior reports from ICE that showed a decline in the agency issuing detainers for criminal illegal aliens. In contrast, the Trump administration issued 20k more ICE detainers in a single year than Biden has throughout his first two years.

The Epoch Times: House Passes Resolution Denouncing Housing Illegal Immigrants in Public Schools
House Passes Resolution Denouncing Housing Illegal Immigrants in Public Schools
The US House of Representatives passed a nonbinding resolution on June 22 that denounces the government taking control of spaces in public elementary and secondary schools to house illegal immigrants. The lower chamber of Congress took up discussion of the act following its debate, which lasted for about an hour and 15 minutes. Sanctuary cities like New York and Chicago have proposed requisitioning schools to house the migrants.

The resolution is mostly a political statement and wields little to no direct power to halt or block the government from using schools as residences. Rep. Bobby Scott said the proposal would encourage taking away funding from schools whose facilities are used to temporarily house refugees and immigrants. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Brandon Williams introduced the bill, as housing illegal immigrants in schools presents safety threats to children and deprives them of educational opportunity.

Forbes: For The Ukrainian Army, The Road To Melitopol Is Mile after Mile Of Russian Trenches
For The Ukrainian Army, The Road To Melitopol Is Mile after Mile Of Russian Trenches
Ukrainian army advances south towards Robotyne, with the next stop being Tokmak, and then Melitopol. Melitopol's liberation could help boot Russians from Crimea, but it's difficult as Russia has 10 or more brigades and regiments in its fortifications. After two weeks, the Ukrainians had advanced about five miles and were just north of Robotyne. It's possible Ukrainian special operations forces are active near Tokmak, infiltrating as far south as Sadove, and Ukrainian forces have breached Russian lines on small scales along multiple axes across Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk Oblasts. Ukrainian forces are setting conditions for a future main effort despite initial setbacks.

Bud Light Just Can't Get It Right: New Ad Ruthlessly Mocked
Bud Light releases a new ad in an attempt to move past their recent controversy, but the public is not interested in pretending nothing happened. Critics blast the ad, saying it's unremarkable, and mock the brand relentlessly on social media. The ad features people drinking Bud Light while barbecuing and enjoying the summer, and includes Chic's 1979 disco number "Good Times". Despite the backlash, conservative radio host Jesse Kelly thinks this is a smart play and may help heal the brand. However, others disagree and suggest the company should lay low for a while or issue a genuine apology.

Spectator USA: Who are the three Wuhan scientists that first got Covid?
Who are the three Wuhan scientists that first got Covid?
The lab-leak hypothesis gains more credibility as it is revealed that three scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology fell ill with Covid-like symptoms in the early days of the pandemic and were working on bat coronaviruses. The scientists are Ben Hu, who runs the lab experiments, Yu Ping, a virus-hunter who collected bat viruses, and Yan Zhu, a senior experimentalist in the lab. One theory suggests that a contaminated sequencing machine led to the discovery of a virus in pangolins from Guangdong, potentially linking the lab to the pandemic's origin.

Tucker Claims Bobby Kennedy Is Winning - He May Be Right
Tucker Carlson discusses how Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is gaining popularity despite backlash from mainstream media over his views on COVID-19 and vaccines. Kennedy has been censored and criticized by many outlets, including NPR, while his theories have yet to be disproven. Carlson notes that Kennedy's honesty and willingness to ask important questions have resonated with the public, especially given the questionable positions of the medical establishment and their politically motivated priorities. Kennedy may be winning the 2024 presidential election, as polls show he is more popular than the major party front-runners and his critics are becoming more irrelevant.

The Epoch Times: House Republicans Want to Openly Debate Imposing ‘Oil Naval’ Blockade on China
House Republicans Want to Openly Debate Imposing ‘Oil Naval’ Blockade on China
The House Armed Services Committee has approved an amendment to the US defense budget that calls for a plan spelling out how to impose a naval blockade on China. The $874.2 billion budget includes 800 amendments that address critical race theory, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, vaccine mandates, foreign affairs, and military strategies. The proposed “study of an oil naval blockade of China” was among the amendments approved. Democrat objections and some Republican reservations were expressed about publicly discussing what constitutes an act of war and possible provocations.

Republican supporters argued that publicly presenting the plan would make the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) think twice about going to war with the United States and that the military is already doing this kind of planning. Democrats suggested that any such discussion should be held behind closed doors, and openly discussing a blockade plan would undermine the US's ability to build international coalitions effectively.

If the order is completed in under five minutes with accuracy, the McDonald's location is considered to be a "good" one.

Antisemitic incidents are on the rise in the U.S., with Jewish individuals facing attacks from various sources, including far-left, Islamist, and right-wing factions. A recent study by Combating Antisemitism Movement (CAM) found that roughly 45% of antisemitic incidents were caused by right-wing white nationalists and religious extremists.
