YouTube will no longer remove videos that claim widespread voter fraud occurred in the 2020 US presidential election. The change comes after YouTube suspended Donald Trump's account in the wake of the Capitol Building riot, which occurred after Trump alleged the election had been stolen. The company said removing these videos could curtail political speech without meaningfully reducing the risk of violence, but will continue to remove content that misleads voters about election logistics and calls on people to interfere with democratic processes. Other content moderation features will remain unchanged.

Parents in Glendale Unified School District kept their children at home in protest of the district's planned “Pride Day” where students learn about LGBT activists and participate in activities that celebrate the LGBT community. Some parents believe parents should decide when to introduce topics such as gender and sexuality to their children, and others are frustrated with school policies that hide students’ preferred gender identity or pronouns from parents. Jordan Henry, a Glendale resident, has spoken against the district’s nondiscrimination policy, the school board's failure to listen to parent complaints, and teachers' fear of speaking out. Similar protests occurred at Saticoy Elementary School in Los Angeles Unified School District.

The Epoch Times: Christian Children Silenced While Performing National Anthem in US Capitol; Police Apologize
The U.S. Capitol Police have apologized for stopping a Christian children's choir from singing the national anthem, despite having permission from the Speaker's Office. A man from the office of Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) halted the performance before the children could deliver the song's final line. Permission would ultimately have to come from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) but the U.S. Capitol Police were not aware that the Speaker's Office had approved the performance. Access to the Capitol and other federal government facilities has been a point of contention since Jan. 6, 2021, after which access to the People's House was sharply restricted.

Pence wrote a letter to Manfred, claiming that the MLB is allowing attacks on Christian faith and sexualizing children. Pence also criticized the MLB for relocating the All-Star Game from Atlanta last year after Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a law to protect election integrity in his state. Whether the MLB will take action remains to be seen.
The former Vice President and potential 2024 presidential candidate wrote that baseball for over a century has united Americans, but in recent years, leftist politicization of the sport has hurt the game’s image and reputation. He mentions the game's history of bipartisanship and how baseball’s long track record has come into question in recent years. Pence also argues that baseball's reputation as a family-friendly environment has been undermined and that it is not too late for MLB to recover its reputation.
