The FBI continues to stonewall a whistleblower file alleging a $5 million bribe offer made to then–Vice President Joe Biden in exchange for policy considerations. Despite acknowledging its existence, the Bureau's refusal to release the document has prompted calls for contempt of Congress proceedings.
FBI Director Christopher Wray has offered Rep. James Comer permission to view the file at the FBI, but has not agreed to release it to the House Oversight Committee. Comer has asserted that anything short of producing the documents to Congress will not comply with the subpoena.

The Epoch Times: Walmart to Offer Pride Merchandise Despite Controversies
Walmart is continuing to offer LGBT products, including T-shirts, onesies, and even a chest binder aimed at “trans, lesbian, and tomboys,” as part of its Pride Month collection. The company’s chief merchandising officer, Latriece Watkins, said that Walmart has not changed anything in its product assortment, unlike Target which faced a backlash over similar items. Walmart’s “inclusive sourcing” program for LGBT groups offers diverse suppliers the opportunity to work with the retail giant. Some conservatives have called for boycotts of Walmart and other retailers selling LGBT items.

The CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon, claimed in a deposition that he was unaware of JPMorgan conducting an internal investigation into its relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted sex offender. Lawsuits filed by the US Virgin Islands and an anonymous accuser claim that the bank knowingly benefited from contributing to Epstein's sex-trafficking venture and enabling his sex trafficking by providing banking services. The bank denies wrongdoing and requests that the lawsuits are dismissed. Dimon also denied ever meeting with Epstein or having a conversation involving his accounts, emphasising that any association with him was a mistake, but that the bank did not help him commit any crimes.

The documents also demonstrated that Epstein was under psychological observation when he attempted suicide days earlier, but he insisted he was not suicidal after more than 30 hours on suicide watch. Eventually, he was found unresponsive in his cell after being moved to the special housing unit due to the increase in media coverage and awareness of his notoriety.

Hunter Biden's lawyers may use the recent Supreme Court ruling broadening Second Amendment protections to argue against possible charges for possessing a firearm as a drug user. Biden is under investigation by the Justice Department, including the 2018 gun purchase where he said he was a regular cocaine user. Federal law bans drug users from owning guns. But a possible challenge under the Second Amendment by the President's son and liberal foe could lead to conservative Republicans to bolster legal precedent protecting the right to bear arms.
Biden's lawyers have told DOJ officials that they will challenge the law under the Second Amendment if he's charged with the gun crime. Biden allegedly claimed in the federal form that he was not using controlled substances during the time of purchase. However, he admitted to using crack cocaine frequently in his memoir. The law prohibits unlawful drug users from owning firearms, but a Supreme Court decision to change tests used in evaluating challenges to firearm restrictions has recently faced legal challenges. Biden's use of new conservative arguments might help him avoid up to 15 years in prison in case he's charged and convicted.

According to a scout who observed him for nine years, Corey Kluber, a right-hander who was always "tough as nails," could teach a class in pitching mechanics, mound acumen, and professional demeanor. He was consistent during his best Cleveland days and would mix and match an array of fastballs, sliders, cutters, and changeups, all having a purpose. Kluber was drafted and signed by the San Diego Padres in the 4th round of the 2007 draft and has since pitched for various clubs, including the recently transferred Boston Red Sox. The scout sees Kluber as an excellent major league pitching coach or someone to help young pitchers develop their repertoire and teach them the art of pitching.
