Eight-Year-Old Migrant Girl Died in Overcrowded Border Facility Due to Poor Medical Care, CBP Investigation Found
An eight-year-old Panamanian migrant died in CBP custody after poor medical care at an overcrowded facility in Harlingen, Texas due to a record number of migrants at the border overwhelming the system. The girl, who had a heart condition and sickle cell anemia, complained of stomach aches, nausea, difficulty breathing, fever, and flu-like symptoms, but medical personnel failed to address her complaints. The Biden administration has admitted that the influx of migrants could lead to dangerous and inhumane conditions in overcrowded border facilities.

WATCH: Biden hits head while exiting Marine One hours after getting ‘sandbagged’ at Air Force ceremony
President Joe Biden hit his head on the helicopter door while exiting Marine One, just hours after falling on stage during the Air Force Academy commencement ceremony. Biden rubbed his head where it was hit on the South Lawn of the White House but did not appear to suffer any immediate injuries. He referred to his recent tumble that he claims was caused by a bag of sand on the stage as he hit his head.

The plunge quickly prompted concern on social media from users worried about the 80-year-old's health. Some politicians questioned whether Biden should continue as president until 2025. Ben Labolt, White House communications director, attempted to ease concerns over the president's health, writing that Biden had simply tripped over a sandbag.

The move has provoked concern among some, who see it as reducing transparency. It is expected to be signed into law by the governor.

MSNBC Agrees DeSantis Is ‘Literally’ a '21st Century George Wallace'
MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell and National Urban League President Marc Morial continued the left's pattern of baselessly smearing Republican Governor Ron DeSantis in a segment on June 2. Morial baselessly labeled DeSantis a "21st century George Wallace" for supposedly "blocking the doors to libraries" and "suppressing black history." Mitchell failed to push back on these lies, instead suggesting that DeSantis was part of a larger trend of "censorship" among Republican governors. Morial further echoed this sentiment, comparing DeSantis to totalitarian regimes. The segment was sponsored by Verizon and Coventry Direct.

DOJ Declines to File Charges against Mike Pence in Classified-Documents Probe
Former Vice President Mike Pence will not face criminal charges after classified documents were found at his Indiana home. A DOJ letter obtained by NBC News confirmed that the investigation into Pence will be closed. Pence had initiated a review of documents after reports emerged of classified documents being found at President Joe Biden’s residence. At Pence’s invitation, the FBI conducted a search of his home and found one other classified document. The probe into the documents found in Biden’s personal residence is still ongoing, while the DOJ is conducting an investigation into former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents.

RFK Jr says he's Democrats' best chance against Trump or DeSantis: I can beat Joe Biden
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. believes he has a better chance of beating Republican challengers in 2024 than President Biden does, despite polling at 16% in the Democratic primary. Kennedy argued that Democrats will want someone who can beat both Governor DeSantis and President Trump, and Americans don't see Biden's ability to win. He also claimed that the DNC will discredit him as a "conspiracy theorist," and accused the Biden administration of lying about the Ukrainian death toll and collaborating with Amazon to shut down competitors during the pandemic. Critics have accused him of running for publicity, but Kennedy stands by his confidence in fighting for the Oval Office.

CNN CEO Chris Licht is continuing his "gut renovation" of the network, working to woo back Republicans and adopt a "down-the-middle mantra." Licht has fired left-wing hosts like Brian Stelter and Don Lemon, and hosted a town hall event with former president Donald Trump, which left many Democrats and CNN employees unhappy. Despite the backlash, Licht believes he is refocusing CNN on objective journalism.

DeSantis: Biden's fall showcases need for 'energetic executive,' 'symbolic' of current state of America
Gov. Ron DeSantis criticized President Biden's energy and leadership following his fall at the U.S. Air Force Academy commencement ceremony. Speaking on a radio show, DeSantis stated that America needed an "energetic executive" to take charge and "spit nails" in Washington, in contrast to the current president's apparent lack of energy. DeSantis, who has launched a 2024 presidential campaign and is among the leading GOP hopefuls, has previously expressed concerns about Biden's physical and mental fitness for office and reiterated that people could judge for themselves.

The governor has been criticized for his parental rights law that prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through grade 3.

The Epoch Times: Biden White House Uses Fuzzy Math to Tout ‘Nearly 20 Percent’ Federal Union Growth
Biden White House Uses Fuzzy Math to Tout ‘Nearly 20 Percent’ Federal Union Growth
President Biden has pledged to be the most pro-union president ever and the number of unionized federal employees has risen nearly 20% this year, despite an overall trend of declining union membership. However, RealClearInvestigations reports that publicly available figures suggest the gain is far less impressive than the Biden administration claims. The two largest federal unions, the American Federation of Government Employees and the National Treasury Employees Union, comprise around 75% of the nearly 500,000 unionized federal employees reported by the White House. The two unions reported a net increase of just 0.6%, leading critics to wonder where the majority of the claimed 20% increase comes from.

The Federalist: Joe Biden, The Jock
Joe Biden, The Jock
Corporate media downplay President Biden's multiple falls as "embarrassing moments" and highlight his "energetic" speech during his recent brush with a broken hip. Despite his age and declining physical capabilities, media outlets continue to prop up the illusion that he is fit for reelection. This stands in stark contrast to how they covered President Trump's careful descent down a ramp and sipping water during a speech, which they turned into a health scare. The media's blatant bias in favor of one candidate over another raises questions about their integrity and professionalism.

Appeals court revives discrimination suit against teacher accused of cutting Native American student's hair
An appeals court has allowed the anti-discrimination lawsuit involving Native American hair to go to trial in New Mexico. An Albuquerque teacher was accused of cutting off one student's hair and asking another if she was dressed as a "bloody Indian" during class on Halloween. Outrage over the incident led to the passing of anti-discrimination legislation in New Mexico. The appellate ruling validates that students must feel safe at school, and a public school must value and respect their culture, history, and personal dignity, in education.

Conservatives react on Twitter to Chick-fil-A promoting Erick McReynolds to VP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, with some calling for a boycott. Leftist media outlets like The Hill exaggerated criticism, while The New York Times and CNN missed the point on what DEI is. Some conservatives, like radio host Erick Erickson, opposed a boycott, but others, like Michael Knowles and Allie Beth Stuckey, saw the creation of a DEI department as problematic, as it can lead to embracing discriminatory "anti-racism" and gender theory. The incident highlights the ubiquity of liberal ideology in our culture.

MSNBC's Chris Jansing Reports invites former member of President Obama’s taskforce, Brittany Packnett Cunningham, to discuss gun violence in America. Packnett links gun violence to the country's violent history, stating that "the trouble with a culture of violence is that it spreads like a smog, and it gets into everything." She goes on to blame current politicians, states that encourage gun proliferation, and the National Rifle Association for this tragic outcome. Cunningham claims that Republicans are exploiting this "culture of violence" and trying to protect gun rights at all costs.

June Is Pride Month So It Is Time for Another Round of Corporate Rainbow Roulette
As Pride Month begins, companies are toning down their rainbow-colored logos on social media, likely due to recent controversies and potential loss of customers on the opposing side. While some companies still participate in Pride Month, they often hedge their support and avoid displaying it in foreign markets. This shift in corporate messaging suggests a realization that companies should focus on selling products and services rather than lecturing on social issues.

Washington D.C. Mayor Bowser has declared the city as the “gayest city in the world” during Pride Month. Some critics implored her to focus on the city's rising crime rates rather than celebrations of sexual identity. Violent crime, including homicide and sex abuse, have increased by 13% and carjackings by 49% so far in 2023. The D.C. Public Library is holding a “Children’s Pride Parade” on Saturday which will be open to ages “0-18,” with an aim to celebrate diversity and inclusion. Many kids are “coming out” at younger ages, reinforcing the need for support of LGBTQ youth and families.

The Los Angeles School Police will provide extra patrols around the school while the incident is investigated. A social media post protesting a Pride Day scheduled for the school was the only potential motive suggested. The attack follows a threat against Target stores by a left-wing Pride supporter who was angry about the removal of some Pride-themed merchandise.

The Corner: Blinken Calls Russia’s Military the ‘Second-Strongest in Ukraine’
Russia's military is now only the second-strongest in Ukraine due to significant losses sustained in the war, said Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a speech in Helsinki. Blinken urged for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, claiming that a simple ceasefire that leaves control over seized territory with Putin is not a solution. He also stated that the U.S. would support a peace process led by any other nation if it furthers the aims of the U.N. Charter, includes Ukraine, and ends Russia's military aggression.

Senators Look to Bypass Defense Spending Caps in Debt Ceiling Bill
The recently passed debt ceiling bill has come under fire from Democrats and Republicans alike for various reasons. One of the concerns expressed by some in the GOP was the top line in defense spending, which they view as inadequate to deal with numerous geopolitical threats faced by the United States, including China's aggression towards Taiwan, Iran's nuclear program, and Russia's attempts to take over Ukraine. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) unsuccessfully filed an amendment to the bill that would have avoided cuts to defense spending, while other senators have called for a supplemental defense spending bill in the future.

The King James Bible has been removed from K-8 schools in the Davis School District in Utah after a district review committee found it contained "vulgarity and violence". Report: The Science™ Hid Data That Fluoride Lowers IQ
Fluoride, a neurotoxin, is added to three-quarters of the U.S. water supply despite evidence of its negative health effects on cognition, especially in children and developing fetuses. Studies have shown that the most common form of fluoride in drinking water can induce genotoxicity, oxidative stress, bone mineralization, and reduced intelligence in children. The maximum contaminant level goal for fluoride is not protective of adverse effects on the brain. A recent study led by a California public health official failed to report data that contradicts the conclusion that fluoridated water is not associated with reduced IQ. Despite the publicly available evidence, the CDC Community Water Fluoridation guidelines continue to encourage the practice of water fluoridation, possibly due to experts with pro-fluoride bias.

(Cont.) The infection does not spread between people. According to the CDC, people can become infected if they breathe in microscopic fungal spores. Mexican health authorities closed the two clinics on May 13, but symptoms of infection can take weeks to develop. Officials are working to find and notify patients who remain at risk.

Although California has enjoyed a super bloom this season, Tyler Johnson, botanist for the Rocky Mountain Region of the U.S. Forest Service, explains that Colorado is not so straightforward. The vast majority of wildflowers in Colorado grow for multiple years, and legacy impacts from previous winters and summers impact how prevalent the blooms will be this year.
