Fox News: Biden admin to expand migrant entries via CBP One app to nearly 40K a month
The Biden administration is expanding the number of migrants allowed into the U.S. via the controversial CBP One app to nearly 40,000 a month to tackle the ongoing crisis at the border. Officials are increasing the number of appointments that migrants can make to be admitted at ports of entry to 1,250 a day. The app is combined with the administration’s “Circumvention of Lawful Pathways” rule.
18 Republican-led states have challenged the asylum rule, calling it a “smoke screen” to allow otherwise illegal immigrants into the U.S. under a veil of legality. Texas has filed a previous lawsuit, focusing on the use of the CBP One app. The app has also run afoul of left-wing activists and groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union who argue that it limits the number of people allowed to make an asylum claim and have criticized its technical flaws.

Jordan has requested information from Attorney General Merrick Garland to ensure the FBI’s investigation is not being politicized. Due to the FBI’s political bias, Jordan believes there is a lack of public trust and is worried it will be poisoned by the same partisan investigation. Jordan’s letter comes as the special counsel’s probe reportedly is nearly complete.

Foreign Policy: After Synagogue Attack, Tunisia Ignores Elephant in the Room
Tunisia has yet to publicly address the anti-Semitic nature of the May 9th attack on the El Ghriba synagogue, which killed five people. France and Germany have both categorized the attack as anti-Semitic, but for Tunisian President Kais Saied’s government, the story would hurt tourism revenues. While official opposition to the Israeli state and support of the Palestinian cause has led to discomfort for Tunisian Jews, Saied's reaction to the attack has been shaped more by his populist mindset, rather than anti-Semitism.

Fox News: China hacking group caught spying on US organizations
Chinese hacking group, Volt Typhoon, has launched a targeted cyberattack on critical infrastructure organizations in the US, including educational, transportation, and manufacturing sectors, using a "web shell" malware, which allows unauthorized remote access to a server, to gain undetected long-term access and espionage. FortiGuard devices, designed to protect organizations from cyber threats, were penetrated by the hackers who then send data traffic through small business and home office networks that they control to mask their activity. With concerns about the group disrupting infrastructure plans and national security, the Biden administration plans to implement new security requirements to safeguard US infrastructure.
Fox News: Germany to investigate former air force fighter pilots accused of training the Chinese military
Several former German air force fighter pilots may have been working as trainers for the Chinese military for years, as reported by Der Spiegel and ZDF. The defense minister stated that every individual case must be examined thoroughly and within the bounds of the law. The German government seeks to balance strong trade ties with China but recognizes the country as a competitor and "systemic rival."
Foreign Policy: Why Biden’s China Reset Is a Bad Idea
The Biden administration's pursuit of détente with China is poorly timed and transparently motivated by political gain, as seen in past failed attempts of President Obama to reset relations with Russia. China understands the United States' weaknesses and has not responded positively to recent diplomatic outreach attempts. Effective détente requires a hard-nosed pursuit of national interest and potential for inflicting damage. The United States should focus on promoting its defenses and helping Ukraine, while keeping channels open for dialogue but not making unilateral concessions.

Hamilton’s comments were out of context, and Hamilton himself has apologised for any misunderstanding over the hypothetical example.
Forbes: Fort Bragg Renamed Fort Liberty As Military Rebrands Confederate Monuments
Fort Bragg—one of the largest military bases in the world—has been renamed Fort Liberty by the Defense Department, following calls to remove memorials to the Confederacy in 2020. The Army defended its renaming of the installation, which is among nine other bases that will be renamed, including Fort Hood, Fort Polk, Fort Rucker and Fort Benning. Fort Bragg is the lone installation named after a value, while other bases will be renamed in honor of Black soldiers, presidents, and notable women. The Army considered renaming the installation after Union Brig. Gen. Edward Bragg instead, but officials decided that “no one individual” should be the namesake of the “scope and spirit of the installation" .

The Epoch Times: Lifestyle Changes Outperform Pharmaceuticals in Treating Vaccine Injuries and Long COVID: Survey
New survey findings presented by Dr. Joel Wallskog suggest that lifestyle changes may be more effective than pharmaceuticals in treating long COVID or post-COVID vaccine syndrome. The React19 survey revealed that pacing strategies, such as carefully planning activities to prevent burnout, emerged as the most effective change for managing symptoms. Other lifestyle changes, such as intermittent or prolonged fasting to clear spike proteins and reduce inflammation and dietary modifications, can also be effective. Stress-relieving activities and mindfulness practices can be helpful, but not all activities are healing, and a combination of lifestyle changes may be necessary to manage symptoms.
The data suggests that all forms of exercise seem to exacerbate symptoms, with avoiding exercise ranking as the eighth most helpful therapy for symptom reduction. Fasting and dietary modifications may reduce inflammation and help clear spike proteins that play a significant role in patients' symptoms, including fatigue and cognitive impairment. Stress-relieving activities, such as temperature treatments, mindful activities, and self-compassion, can help reset the body's response to external changes and promote well-being. However, lifestyle changes may not provide a complete recovery solution, and other therapies, such as intravenous immunoglobulin, may be necessary for some individuals.
