Front Page Magazine: Latinos Can Be White Supremacists or Oppressed Minorities. Not Both
Latinos Can Be White Supremacists or Oppressed Minorities. Not Both
The Left is pushing the absurd notion of "Latino white supremacy" while ignoring the history of Latino political figures who collaborated with Nazi Germany. Racial categories only serve to divide Americans and are based on fraud and political science, not objective science. Democrats hoped to make Latinos the cornerstone of a national one-party system through demographic change and open borders, but this strategy may be faltering, as Latinos are a more mixed group with different agendas and less of a tendency toward the bloc vote. The Left is trying to subdivide Latinos into good and bad categories based on cultural ideology and political affiliation, rather than objective science or fact.

Howard Dean: DeSantis 'Is Not a Nice Guy' -- His Disney Feud Is Insane
Former DNC chair Howard Dean criticized Gov. Ron DeSantis as a poor presidential candidate, citing his perceived unfriendliness, lack of articulation, and bad advice. Townhall: End American Gerontocracy
End American Gerontocracy
President Biden's recent fall while addressing the Air Force Academy graduates highlights his poor physical and mental health, making him a national liability. With 68% of US Senators aged 60 or older and the average age of university professors and CEOs rising steadily, the country is in danger of being governed by gerontocracy. Mandatory retirement ages and a Constitution amendment can help renew the nation. It's time to have younger, scrappier, and hungrier men and women take the lead in important institutions to keep the country competitive in the 21st-century global arena.

PJ Media: Pence and Christie to Team Up and Help Trump Secure GOP Nomination
Pence and Christie to Team Up and Help Trump Secure GOP Nomination
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Vice President Mike Pence are expected to announce their candidacy for the Republican nomination in the 2024 presidential election. However, both candidates are past their expiration dates, and their campaigns are unlikely to be successful. The more anti-Trump candidates who join the race, the more likely it is that Trump will be the nominee. This is no time for political vanity projects in the hope of future gains, as the Republic is teetering on the edge of extinction.

Iowa Town Hall: Trump Says Biden Family Is Being Protected and the Justice System Is Corrupt
Former President Trump and Fox host Sean Hannity discussed a recent poll in which 53 percent of Americans and over a quarter of Democrats believed that President Joe Biden was involved in an illegitimate influence peddling scheme with his son Hunter. Trump said that this "goes to the heart of Jim Jordan's investigation." Congressman Jordan chairs a subcommittee on the weaponization of government. The conversation also mentions the scandal regarding the Biden family's involvement with a Ukrainian gas company, Burisma.

Breitbart: Ron DeSantis Declines to Provide Proper Pronunciation of His Name
Ron DeSantis Declines to Provide Proper Pronunciation of His Name
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) refuses to correct the record on the pronunciation of his last name, which has led to confusion whether it is pronounced “Dee-Santis” or “Duh-Santis.” DeSantis insisted his last name should be pronounced as “winner.” Americans are confused about the proper pronunciation because he has switched back and forth over the years, including in the week since he launched his 2024 campaign. The former President Donald Trump has made several comments about DeSantis’s apparent name change. DeSantis called Trump’s attacks “petty” and “juvenile” and suggested comments like those are why Trump is no longer in the White House.

Washington Free Beacon: Senate Passes Debt Ceiling Bill, Averts Default
Senate Passes Debt Ceiling Bill, Averts Default
The US Senate has passed a bill lifting the government's $31.4tn debt ceiling, averting the country's first ever default. The Senate voted 63-36, following a similar House vote, and the bill will suspend the federal borrowing limit until 1 January 2025. Republicans were seeking wide-ranging spending cuts, and argued for tax hikes on the wealthy and corporations to reduce the growing debt. After a bitter battle, the parties eventually agreed $1.5tn in cuts over ten years in reduced spending on discretionary programmes, which left Social Security and Medicare and the military untouched. Republicans also hoped to use the leverage of the debt ceiling as an opportunity to gain concessions on other spending issues.

ATF: Illegal for Marijuana Users to Possess Guns Regardless of State Law
ATF reminds Minnesotans that marijuana use and gun possession are incompatible, even though Minnesota has legalized recreational marijuana. It is prohibited to ship, transport, receive, or possess firearms or ammunition if an individual is a current user of marijuana, as it is still federally illegal to mix marijuana with firearms and ammunition until marijuana is legalized federally. A panel from the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has also ruled unanimously in favor of a gun ban for marijuana users.

The Epoch Times: Synthetic Surfaces Gaining Traction at Major Horse Racing Tracks
Synthetic Surfaces Gaining Traction at Major Horse Racing Tracks
Some North American racetracks have replaced traditional dirt with synthetic surfaces, made of wax-coated sand and recycled rubber, in the hope of creating safer training and racing conditions for horses. The statistics suggest that synthetic surfaces result in the fewest deaths per 1,000 horses, while dirt remains the most commonly used track surface in Louisville, Baltimore and New York.  An advantage of synthetic surfaces is they provide a consistent, all-weather track but they can wear out quickly, and more watering is often required to maintain the correct consistency. The new track represents an investment in the future of Belmont Park that will enhance equine safety.

'Let Me Fix That': Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey Corrects ESPN Reporting on Law Banning Men in Women Sports
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey requested ESPN to correct its framing of a new law banning men from women's college sports in the state, which ESPN reported as banning transgender women. The law expands existing bans on men participating in K-12 women's sports, with Ivey stating it aims to promote fairness. Similarly, Texas passed a ban on minor's transgender surgeries, a move also made by Florida in May. The law follows other acts such as banning gender-affirming care and adopting the label of "mutilation of minors."
