The Epoch Times: House Votes to Censure Adam Schiff
The House of Representatives voted to censure Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) for allegedly spreading misinformation against former President Donald Trump concerning Russian collusion after two similar resolutions were brought forward. The vote was 213-209, with six present. Schiff has been referred to the House Ethics Committee for investigation. The censure did not include a $16 million fine or accusations that Schiff used his position to collect political donations. Republicans welcomed the censure, while Democrats contended that it was just an in-kind contribution to Schiff's 2024 Senate campaign.

The House voted to censure Rep. Adam Schiff for promoting baseless claims about Trump's collusion with Russia, with every Republican and six Democrats voting for the resolution. It was the second attempt to censure Schiff; the first failed because of a proposed fine of $16 million. The resolution's author, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, accused Schiff of abusing his position and altering the course of the country with his lies about Trump. Schiff spoke in his own defense and thanked Republicans for the move, saying, "Your words tell me that I have been effective in the defense of our democracy."
Fox News: Grassley, Graham demand FBI turn over key document linked to Biden allegations
Republican senators Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham have written to the FBI demanding an unredacted copy of an FD-1023 form recording interviews with a “highly credible” confidential source who disclosed details of multiple meetings with a top executive of Ukrainian gas firm Burisma Holdings over several years. The document alleges that President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national, with influence over US policy decisions. Graham has complained that the FBI’s failure to produce the document means it has not allowed the oversight required by Congress and the American people.
The confidential source details discussions about how to gain US oil rights and get involved with a US oil company, which included the question of Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma Holdings’ board. The executive allegedly described him as “dumb” and said $5m was paid to Joe and Hunter Biden as a “retainer” payment in connection to several issues including an investigation by a Ukrainian prosecutor. The form also references “the Big Guy”, purportedly a reference to Joe Biden.
Red State: CNN’s Daniel Dale Gives up the Game in ‘Fact Check’ Request Posted on Twitter
CNN "fact-checkers" used Biden's denial about involvement in the DOJ's targeting of Trump as "proof" that he played no role, despite evidence suggesting otherwise. Leading the way in this was Daniel Dale, who asked partisan gun control group DeCAGV for help with a fact check. Meanwhile, Dale has not fact-checked Biden in almost 90 days, but has fact-checked Twitter users like Stephen Miller who speculated Dale's fact check may be related to Hunter Biden. This is not unlikely given the plea deal announced Tuesday and the Democrat privilege.

Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) warned that American citizens' constitutional civil liberties are being disregarded and family members of whistleblowers are being punished by the government officials who violate those liberties. Civil liberties attorneys agree with Jordan’s evaluation and accuse President Biden and his administration as well as numerous federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies of taking part in the constitutional violations. Liberty Counsel's founder Mat Staver believes that there is a real erosion of a fundamental right of freedom of speech and states that the threat to civil liberties is not limited to particular politicians or political parties.

He criticized vaccine mandates and shifted to attacking Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis, who he claimed "loved" Fauci. However, he acknowledges that people who love vaccines tend to be more Democrat than they are Republican.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) called out Special Counsel John Durham for allegedly engaging in a "cover-up" of the Russia investigation during a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee. Gaetz focused on areas of interest to Republicans that Durham's inquiry failed to resolve, including Joseph Mifsud, the professor who allegedly discussed Russia having "dirt" on Trump's rival Hillary Clinton to George Papadopolous, and phones used by members of Mueller's team being wiped. Durham denied Gaetz's accusations, calling them "offensive."
Gaetz also faulted Durham for not charging enough people, specifically naming former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith who pleaded guilty to falsifying a document used to justify FISA surveillance on onetime Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page. Gaetz criticized Durham's report for "omissions" and the overall "lack of work" by the special counsel. The clash continued as the two men debated Mifsud and the phones used by Mueller's team being wiped, with Durham stating that he pursued the facts as best he could.

The US is experiencing dire drug shortages due to major quality-control issues at an Intas Pharmaceuticals factory in India. Chemotherapy drugs used to treat certain cancers, including breast, lung and prostate have been pulled from shelves. The shortage has caused cancer patients to receive low drug doses, wait longer between treatments, or switch to other drugs that cause significant side effects. Only 83 percent of India's drug manufacturing facilities met safety and quality standards, compared to 93 percent in the US and 90 percent in China. The US has recently seen other products made by Indian manufacturers with quality issues, including contaminated eye drops resulting in a massive bacterial outbreak.

Derrick John Thompson, Black Lives Matter activist and son of former Minnesota Democratic state Rep. John Thompson, is expected to be charged with murder after a high-speed crash killed five people in Minneapolis. Thompson, who was allegedly being pursued by police, crashed into a car carrying four young women and a teen girl. Three of the victims were sisters. Police say Thompson was driving at over 90 mph and had his driver’s license reinstated just two weeks before the crash, despite having it revoked previously. Thompson had also previously been imprisoned in California after a hit-and-run incident that left another motorist in a coma.
