The Epoch Times: Special Counsel John Durham Set to Testify to Congress—What to Expect From the Hearing
After four years of investigation, John Durham’s bombshell report found no evidence of collusion with Russia by former President Trump. The report also criticized the FBI for being “seriously deficient” in its investigation of Trump. Durham, who will testify before the House Judiciary Committee on June 21, did not interview several key players from the collusion narrative, such as former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former FBI Director James Comey, raising questions from Republicans about his investigation. They also questioned why many key players were not tried and criticized the lack of proposed reforms in the report.
National Review: Barack Obama vs. Tim Scott
Barack Obama criticized minority Republican candidates who he believes validate America in a way he disagrees with. He cited America's racial history and argued that anyone who isn't proposing an acknowledgment of that history and proposing a way to move forward is unrealistic.
The Epoch Times: Long-Awaited Berejiklian Corruption Probe Report Due
The delayed report into Gladys Berejiklian's conduct will be delivered on June 29. The report will examine whether the former premier breached public trust in her relationship with now-disgraced MP Daryl Maguire, and if she improperly handled projects pursued by him.
The Federalist: WaPo Exposes DeSantis' Nefarious Plot To Govern Conservatively
The Washington Post reports that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis used a secretive panel, led by Leonard Leo of the Federalist Society, to remake the state's Supreme Court by selecting replacements that matched his own conservative judicial outlook. He relied on the panel to vet nominees in an Orlando conference room before his inauguration, and chose new justices after three liberal justices were compelled to step down due to the state’s mandatory retirement age. Although criticized for a "hard-right turn," DeSantis argues that he upheld a principled position in interpreting the Constitution according to its original intent and without applying more-current social, political or cultural lenses.
National Review: LOL, nothing matters? &c.
The Republican Party and conservative movement have been a support group for Donald Trump, allowing him to put his interests above the country's. Former cabinet members, including Bill Barr and Mark Esper, have criticized Trump for his behavior, but his popularity and unpopularity have remained steady. Meanwhile, as Doug Ducey becomes the CEO of a new national advocacy effort promoting and preserving free enterprise, economic freedom needs all the help it can get.

Breitbart: Laurence Fox Dares British Police to 'Pay Me a Visit' After Burning 'Progress' Pride Flags: 'I'll Put the Kettle On'
Actor Laurence Fox daring police to “pay me a visit” after burning “progress” pride flags in his backyard in response to a Daily Mail report that London's police are assessing the video for potential hate law violations. The flags were burned because Fox believes they represent “child mutilation” and stand against “biological reality” and “objective truth.” The so-called “progress” flag consists of the regular pride flag, but with added colors and stripes to symbolize other 2SLGBTQIA+ groups. Fox also questioned how doctors who facilitate children transitioning may escape hate crime accusations. ( )

National Review: Treat Russia as a Terrorist State
Calls are growing for the US to designate the Wagner Group, a Russian proxy, as a foreign terrorist organization. This move would criminalize the provision of "material support" to the group, potentially disrupting its operations and choking its finances. However, the Biden administration has yet to make a determination on the matter, with concerns that criminalizing support for Wagner could alienate African countries that have retained the group to prop up their regimes. Critics argue that Wagner is motivated by profit rather than ideology and that it is too closely integrated with Russia's military to be classified as a terrorist group.

Washington Free Beacon: Biden Awards Anti-Extremism Grants to British Think Tank Under Congressional Scrutiny for Targeting Conservatives
The Biden administration granted a British think tank, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, almost $330,000 to track extremism and disinformation. However, the group has called upon social media companies to censor conservative personalities, including Ben Shapiro, and has been criticized by Republicans for targeting conservatives. The grants were awarded to analyze extremism in the military and convene an anti-extremism workshop in Germany. The think tank's history of labelling conservatives as hate-spewing extremists cast doubts on their abilities to assess extremism. Additionally, it has falsely accused conservatives of violence and hate speech whilst pressuring social media companies to clamp down on views deemed extremist or disinformation.

Forbes: Meet The Billionaire’s Son And ‘I, Robot’ Producer Whose Biggest Splash Could Be Dave’s Hot Chicken
John Davis, one of Hollywood's most prolific producers, and successful investor in restaurants shares his playbook for success. His investments in four fast-casual franchises have helped them become some of the fastest-growing in the industry, and his strategy includes installing a management team, lining up deep-pocketed investors, taking the biggest ownership stake himself, and attaching a celebrity to the brand. Currently, his most successful investment is Dave's Hot Chicken which has grown from three guys in an East Hollywood parking lot to over 100 locations, with more than 75 to launch this year. Davis has made most of his fortune in the restaurant industry by investing in brands that appeal to the masses and doing so with celebrity-backed marketing, seasoned restaurant operators, and minimum growth in overhead.

American Thinker: The Lawlessness of Yale And Other Law Schools
Yale Law School professor Oona Hathaway's recent essay supporting the US government’s indictment against a former president, which may have violated several laws and professional ethical standards, demonstrates the danger of extreme ideological fervor among law professors. Academic freedom is not intended to cover public relations work. Not only does it undermine credibility by aligning with political ideology, but it also violates the core principle of the legal system: objectivity. Hathaway and other law professors who indulge in partisan activity should stop, as it contaminates the core principles of law itself, including presumption, due process, evidence standards, and balancing, while officially endorsing a dubious indictment.
Hathaway and others who use mass media as a channel to promote political ideology violate their obligations as law professors in two professions: law and teaching. To be rhetorical does not mean to be deceptive, mendacious, or misleading, but it can limit critical thinking and undermine public confidence in law and the judiciary. Law professors should take the natural posture of defense doctrine, which freezes speculation and prioritizes the order of law, making it a priority. Academic freedom is freedom to do academic work, not public relations work. The culture of Yale and other elite law schools may no longer prioritize law as its field of study, but rather indulge politics and reward students who engage in radical political activism as law.

American Thinker: Reading Body Language: The New Phrenology?
Non-investigative methods for detecting deception, such as interpreting body language, are unreliable. Attempts to distinguish truth from lies through observation of facial or body movements, administration of drugs, or measuring physiological variables are debunked. The American justice system requires patience, yet people still promote and use unreliable techniques for detecting lies. The Behavior Panel, a popular YouTube channel, critiques interrogations and public statements, but misattributes their success to current lie-detection fads instead of their formidable experience. Reliable physical language for detecting deception doesn't exist, and people desperate for shortcuts will continue to misinterpret gestures and twitches as tea leaves.

Fox News: Spike in teen depression aligns with rise of social media, new poll suggests: ‘It’s not going anywhere’
The number of teens agreeing with depressive phrases has doubled over the past decade, based on a yearly poll by the University of Michigan. Dr. Jean Twenge links the increase in teen depression with the rise of social media, though it reflects correlation rather than causation. Experts agree social media presents mental health risks, especially in children and adolescents, such as depression and anxiety. They recommend that parents impose device restrictions on their children, reduce the time spent on social media, and encourage real-life, person-to-person interactions, nutrition, positive social interaction, and quality sleep routines. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy released an advisory titled "Social Media and Youth Mental Health" in May due to many potentially negative impacts.
American Thinker: The World Economic Forum and U.N. Agenda 2030
Sinister figures like Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, and Dr. Yuval Noah Harari are imposing a globalist agenda through organizations like the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Sapienship. Harari's commitment to "cooperation" under a globalized system is undermined by his denial of free will and universal morality, as he identifies these as exclusive to Christian theology. Agenda 2030, an initiative from United Nations, also reinforces the WEF's message of world governance. However, the initiative's "People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership" slogans do not justify the absurdity of its goals, such as ensuring "dignity and equality" for all when there are policies like allowing some students to receive halal or kosher food free of charge.
