The Epoch Times: Elon Musk Hints at 'Significant Investment' in India After Meeting Modi
Elon Musk Hints at 'Significant Investment' in India After Meeting Modi
Elon Musk is considering a "significant investment" in India after meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York. Although Musk did not provide further details, he did say he was "confident" that Tesla would be in India. Modi invited Musk to explore opportunities in India for investment in electric mobility and in the commercial space sector, stating that he appreciated Musk's efforts "at making technology accessible and affordable in various sectors." Musk also plans to bring SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service to India. Tesla's renewed interest in India comes almost a year after the carmaker put its plans on hold after failing to secure lower import taxes, which Musk said are among the highest in the world.

Fox News: Utah school district puts Bible back on bookshelves after pushback: 'Significant, serious value'
Utah school district puts Bible back on bookshelves after pushback: 'Significant, serious value'
The Davis School District in Utah has reversed its decision to remove The Holy Bible from its middle and elementary schools after determining that the texts were appropriate for students. The Bible will now be available in all district libraries. The initial removal of the Bible came after 70 community members appealed last month's decision to ban the Bible over claims it was not age-appropriate. A review committee, made up mostly of parents, had determined that the Bible was not age-appropriate and "significant, serious value for minors which outweighs the violent or vulgar content it contains" based on community standards.

Breitbart: Trump: Drug Dealers Should Get Death Penalty, I Was Right to Give Clemency to Alice Johnson Because She Wasn't 'Much of a Dealer'
Trump: Drug Dealers Should Get Death Penalty, I Was Right to Give Clemency to Alice Johnson Because She Wasn't 'Much of a Dealer'
Former President Donald Trump argued for the death penalty for drug dealers, saying it is "the only way" to stop drug problems. He claimed that Alice Johnson, a drug dealer he gave clemency to, was "treated very unfairly" by getting 48 years despite not being "much of" a dealer. Trump clarified that under his plan, Johnson wouldn't get the death penalty because it wouldn't be retroactive. He argued that if dealers were given the death penalty, Johnson wouldn't have been on the phone call for selling marijuana. Trump denied most recommendations for pardon of drug dealers, but said if you want to stop drugs, "there's only one way you're going to stop them: The death penalty for dealers."

The Epoch Times: Minister Under Fire Over Police Censorship of Tasering
Minister Under Fire Over Police Censorship of Tasering
Police Minister Yasmin Catley will not be sacked despite calls from NSW Opposition Leader Mark Speakman, who accused her and the police department of censoring and manipulating the initial press release about the tasering of a 95-year-old woman. Clare Nowland was tasered by the police while wielding a steak knife as she walked with a frame at the Yallambee Lodge in Cooma. Catley claimed not to have known about the first draft of the press release, which was obtained from the police department. After issuing the initial release, police did not make further statements until media reports emerged more than 36 hours later. Officer Kristian White has since been suspended with pay and charged with three offences, including recklessly causing grievous bodily harm.
