The Epoch Times: 'Over 50 Percent' of New FBI Form on Biden Bribe Allegations Redacted: Rep. Comer
'Over 50 Percent' of New FBI Form on Biden Bribe Allegations Redacted: Rep. Comer
Over 50% of a new form about potential criminal activity regarding Joe Biden’s family business dealings and bribes was redacted according to House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer. Comer expressed concerns that federal law enforcement was still holding back information from Republicans as Republican-led investigations are examining whether Biden used his influence as vice president to assist his family’s business dealings. The FD-1023 form is used by the FBI to record allegations about potential criminal activity from the FBI’s confidential human sources.

Raskin, Comer’s Democratic analog on the panel who viewed the updated document with Comer, dismissed the contents of the document as “non-relevant” and repeated his position that the investigation is political. Comer replied that the focus of the investigation concerns Joe Biden and trying to determine what role he played in the millions of dollars that his family took from foreign nationals that was laundered through shell companies into various Biden family accounts. The document’s contents remain unknown to the public.

US Industrial Production Unexpectedly Falls in May After 2 Months of Gains
U.S. industrial production unexpectedly fell 0.2% in May due to higher interest rates and slowing economic growth. Manufacturing output rose 0.1% in May but may continue to struggle due to a shift in consumer spending and tight lending standards. Capacity use in the manufacturing sector remained at 78.4%, above its long-run average, but firms are carefully managing inventories, putting pressure on manufacturing. The Institute for Supply Management's measure of national factory activity remains below the 50 threshold, indicating a contraction in manufacturing, the longest time since the Great Recession.
