Townhall: Silent Majority Pushes Back
Silent Majority Pushes Back
Starbucks is reportedly toning down its Pride Month celebrations, though executives deny it. Pixar's film "Elemental," featuring a nonbinary character, flopped over the weekend. Pride Month is becoming controversial due to departing from its original goal of combatting discrimination against gay and lesbian people, with some Pride events turning into hateful attacks. Aggressive activists and politicians are seen by some as ramming their beliefs down everyone else's throats, as the promotion of transgenderism is viewed as a threat to what Pride has achieved. The focus on transgender and nonbinary people comes with dire consequences for companies mocking religion, several of which have seen substantial stock value losses. The majority still rule in America, but Pride needs to return to its founding purpose and stop the attacks of far-left politicians and aggressive activists.

Townhall: Will Hunter Biden Get a Presidential Pardon?
Will Hunter Biden Get a Presidential Pardon?
Hunter Biden agrees to plead guilty for federal tax evasion and firearms charges, raising questions about potential presidential pardon. Presidential pardons have become increasingly controversial, with some crossing ethical lines by pardoning family members or associates. While the power to pardon is unquestionably a presidential prerogative, a potential pardon for Hunter Biden based on personal access to power would cast illegitimacy on the powers vested in the presidency and could invite overreaction from future administrations or Congress. It is a responsibility that should be exercised with moral courage and restraint.

Townhall: A Black Plan for Mike Pence
A Black Plan for Mike Pence
Former Vice President Mike Pence lags behind former President Donald Trump in national polling by a margin of 50 points. However, Pence could make a breakthrough with the Pence Black Plan, which focuses on reaching out to Black voters. The plan centers on Pence’s pro-biblical values, conservative background, and strong Evangelical Christian identity. Despite high church attendance among Black Americans, they vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. The plan advocates for reforms such as Social Security for younger workers, individual investment accounts, and school choice. Pence aims to emphasize freedom and family and to gain support from leading Black pastors.

Cole had wagged his finger at Seattle’s manager after he directed choice words at him, and Caballero flipped his bat on a foul ball in response. The Yankees won the game 7-3 after losing four straight games.

The Epoch Times: Angels Unlikely to Trade Shohei Ohtani If They Stay in Contention, GM Says
Angels Unlikely to Trade Shohei Ohtani If They Stay in Contention, GM Says
Los Angeles Angels General Manager Perry Minasian said that it is highly unlikely that Shohei Ohtani will be traded if they remain in playoff contention this summer. Though Minasian did not unequivocally vow that Ohtani won't be traded, the GM underlined his season-long stance on the issue while strongly indicating that he still intends to do everything possible to end the Angels' eight-year playoff drought. The Angels are in the second place and are one of the AL's wild card playoff spots and remain five games behind the AL West-leading Texas. The team has had a successful season with Ohtani, who is hitting .300 with a 1.016 OPS, 24 homers, and 58 RBIs along with a 6-2 record on the mound.
