Newsbusters: ABC & CBS Hype Misleading ProPublica Attacks on Alito, Ignore Durham
ABC & CBS highlight a story by ProPublica that accuses Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito of unethical behavior for not reporting a trip paid for by a Republican donor, while ignoring the five hour testimony by former Special Counsel John Durham about the FBI's investigation into Trump/Russia collusion hoax. ProPublica's story claims that in 2008, Alito flew to Alaska for a fishing trip on a private jet belonging to a hedge fund manager whose businesses brought several cases before the Supreme Court, and did not report the trip on his annual financial disclosure forms. However, ProPublica undermined their own reporting in the 73rd paragraph by revealing that a federal judge who went on a similar trip with Alito was previously told by the judiciary's financial disclosure office that his transportation was not reportable.
Fox News: SEAN HANNITY: Adam Schiff has been formally censured by the House of Representatives
Fox News' Sean Hannity discussed the censuring of Rep. Adam Schiff in his opening monologue following Special Counsel John Durham's testimony. Schiff was called out for being a "congenital liar" and "conspiracy theorist" who peddled lies to the American public for three years regarding the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Hannity also criticized the media for promoting these false narratives and giving Pulitzer Prizes to those who spread them. The testimony revealed that Operation Crossfire Hurricane should have never been opened, and there was no real evidence of collusion or conspiracy.
Breitbart: WATCH - Durham Slaps Down Democrat: 'I Respect My Family, and My Lord'
Democrats clash with Special Counsel John Durham over his recent report on the Russia collusion investigation at a House Judiciary Committee hearing. Rep. Steve Cohen accused Durham of not including information from a grand jury report by then-Attorney General William Barr. Durham responded that he is only concerned about his reputation with his family and God. The report concluded that the Department of Justice never had evidence to justify the collusion investigation.
The Epoch Times: House Republicans Fail to Overturn Biden's Veto of Debt Relief Plan
House Republicans failed to overturn President Joe Biden's veto of a Congressional Review Act aimed at nullifying his debt relief plan, which includes the cancellation of up to $20,000 of student debt for around 37 million people at a cost of roughly half a trillion dollars. Lawsuits challenging the program, which some argue goes beyond the scope of the Heroes Act of 2003, are being considered by the US Supreme Court. Biden administration officials argue he is acting within the law, but the plaintiffs assert that the law allows only narrow applications of relief, not the widespread loan cancellation desired by the president.
Breitbart: MSNBC's Wallace: John Durham, Bill Barr, John Ratcliffe Are a 'Nightmare for the Rule of Law'
MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace called John Durham, Bill Barr, and John Ratcliffe "a nightmare for the rule of law" during an episode of "Deadline." She criticized Durham's investigation into Trump, saying he had little reason to open it. Wallace also claimed that these three individuals make the US look bad and questioned their commitment to democracy.

The American Spectator: Thank Media’s Toxic Culture Wars for Today’s Universal Unhappiness
New York Times columnist David Brooks argues that cultural decline, rather than just economic inequality, is to blame for widespread unhappiness in America and worldwide. The toxic culture of exaggerated danger and division in media generates a sense of menace that has infected today's youth. The James Carville explanation for dissatisfaction being the economy is simply wrong. Although economic conditions may exacerbate unhappiness, misery now runs deeper than it did in the 1990s. Today's unhappiness is primarily cultural in nature, explains Brooks.

Townhall: Regime Media Dishonesty on Biden’s Ukraine U-Turn
In 2014, Putin invaded Ukraine and Obama refused to intervene, providing only $320m in aid. Biden similarly opposed arming Ukraine. Now, under Biden, the US is pouring over $160bn in aid and countless weapons to Ukraine with no end in sight, emboldening China to assist Russia in its conflict and increasing the risk of nuclear war. Despite Trump advocating for a rapid negotiated settlement, the media has called him a Putin puppet. However, Trump's position on Ukraine mirrors Obama and Biden's from 2014, suggesting that Europe should shoulder most of the financial burden and the conflict should be resolved through a negotiated settlement.

Fox News: LAURA INGRAHAM: We cannot 'rely on China' for our essentials
Laura Ingraham points out that the threat of China needs to be addressed by the Biden administration. She suggests that the US needs to begin decoupling from China, especially in regards to critical electronics and medicines.

Fox News: On this day in history, June 22, 1944, FDR signs GI Bill, with far-reaching impact on American veterans
On June 22, 1944, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the GI Bill, providing broad benefits for WWII veterans, including funding for education, unemployment compensation, low-interest homes and business loans. Its goal was to help veterans adjust to civilian life and avoid a relapse into the Great Depression. The bill had a significant impact, with around 8 million veterans receiving educational benefits and over 4 million home loans granted. It's considered one of the most successful pieces of social welfare legislation ever developed.
The GI Bill changed the lives of millions of WWII veterans returning to civilian life in June 1944 by replacing old roadblocks with paths of opportunity and allowing them to pursue college educations, securing themselves into careers and professions they would have been unable to enter before. Educational institutions opened their doors to this new population of students which prompted expansion of university facilities and teaching staffs. Additionally, the GI Bill contributed to the baby boom and created a ripple effect across the economy, leading to unparalleled prosperity for a generation.

PJ Media: There Is No Short Path Back to Institutional Credibility
Scientific institutions have lost credibility due to promoting political nonsense. Dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine, Dr. Peter Hotez, refused to debate vaccine efficacy and safety on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who believes in the scientifically unverified theory that vaccines cause autism. Hotez argues his credentials excuse him from debate, claiming anti-vaccine disinformation is now lethal. Scientists must regain credibility to earn the trust of the public.

The American Spectator: Today’s Students Have the Worst Performance in Math and Reading in Decades
Former Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos calls to shut down the Department of Education, criticizing its focus on accruing political power rather than improving student outcomes. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) reports the lowest math and reading performance in decades among today’s 13-year-olds, with COVID restrictions exacerbating the decline. The decline is particularly severe among black, Native American, and low-income students. New pandemic aid expansions to tutoring and summer classes did not yield necessary gains, warning that future scores may stabilize at the declining level.

The Epoch Times: At Least 46 Killed Following Riot in Women's Prison in Honduras
A prison riot in Tegucigalpa left 46 dead as gang members from Barrio 18 and Mara Salvatrucha clashed. Gang violence had been planned by gang members with the knowledge of guards, leading Honduran President Xiomara Castro to announce "drastic measures" to address the issue. Those attending the morgue were running out of space for victims. Relatives of victims gathered outside the 900-person women’s penitentiary, asking officials to release a list of the victims.
The Epoch Times: California AG Announces Collaborative Agreement to Address Organized Retail Theft Crime
Retailers and online marketplaces in California have partnered with the state’s top law enforcement agency to fight growing organized retail crime, which is threatening public safety and the economy. Townhall: When Virtue Signalers Become Virtue Flaunters
Gillette lost a customer when it joined the "woke" movement and accused American males of bullying young people. Other shaving products are available. Evidence is emerging that corporate America is rejecting wokeness, with finance chiefs and executives no longer boasting about social initiatives. Companies advertising their support of the LGBT community, such as Target and Bud Light, have come under fire from conservative groups and political leaders. The free market seems to be overcoming the ideological incense-burners of socialism.
