Townhall: Trump Is the Media's New David Duke
The media is fixated on Donald Trump, referring to him as the front-runner and ignoring other important issues. Trump is the David Duke of this election cycle, with every Republican candidate being asked endless questions about him. However, polls this far out have little predictive power, and the actual voting results may differ. The media's obsession with Trump is preposterous and distracts from other important issues.
Breitbart: Report: Hunter Biden to Appear in Delaware Court Next Month for Plea Deal
Hunter Biden will face a Delaware Federal court next month for a plea deal with US Attorney David Weiss on charges related to tax violations and gun laws. Legal experts believe that he will not serve jail time. If the plea deal is accepted, Biden's lawyer claims that additional allegations from Republicans can never be brought up against the president's son. Republicans suggest a two-tier system of justice, but Attorney General Merrick Garland pushes back on this idea. Biden's lawyer admitted the charges have "nothing" to do with the information on a laptop previously claimed to belong to Hunter.
The American Spectator: Government-Backed Censors Confuse ‘Disinformation’ With Mainstream Opinions
The government's involvement in identifying and combating disinformation is concerning, as it could lead to censorship and demonization of political opponents. A DHS "anti-terrorism" program has funded material that classifies mainstream conservative organizations as a threat, and a UK-based Global Disinformation Index has been found to have questionable and ideological approaches to rating sites. Government involvement sends a message of trust, but could ultimately lead to corruption and polarization. A government that polices information goes against the values of a free society.
Breitbart: Schiff: GOP Censure Was a 'Flagrant Abuse of the House Process'
Schiff calls censure a "badge of honor" and a result of Trump and MAGA world going after him. He has no regrets on how he handled the Russia issue and is proud of his involvement in Trump's impeachment and the January 6 Committee.

The Epoch Times: Biden Warns Threat of Putin Using Tactical Nuclear Weapons Is 'Real'
President Joe Biden warned the threat of Russian President Vladimir Putin using tactical nuclear weapons is “real,” as warheads arrive in Belarus. Days after Moscow confirmed the deployment of Russian tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, Putin and Lukashenko have claimed the deployment of nuclear weapons will boost Belarus’ security and act as a deterrent against potential aggressors. Putin has previously pointed to US deployment of similar weapons at NATO bases in a number of European countries over many decades, as well as repeatedly threatening to use nuclear weapons as the war in Ukraine goes on. Efforts from the US and its allies to negotiate with Russia to ensure no nuclear weapons are used in Ukraine have so far been unsuccessful.

The American Spectator: China Betrays Its True Weakness — Despite Blinken’s Obeisance
During US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to China, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) breached international seating arrangements in order to portray Chinese President Xi Jinping as an emperor receiving an envoy from the US. In addition, a photo of Blinken shaking hands with Xi while the latter remains motionless resembles an emperor receiving loyalty from a subsidiary state. Although the authenticity of the photo is unverified, if Blinken bowed and kneeled before Xi it would be embarrassing for the US. The CCP's aggressive behavior is intended to impress Chinese nationalists, but it exposes its insecurity and lack of confidence to civilized nations. As China's economic and military strength surpasses that of democratic countries, if the international community stands idly by it is only a matter of time before the CCP proclaims itself as the emperor of the world.

Former President Donald Trump received the names of the witnesses who will testify against him in a federal case involving classified national defense information. The Epoch Times: Snopes Fact-Checker Jumbles Claim Missing Titanic Submersible Was Using Elon Musk's StarLink Service
Snopes fact-checking organization mistakenly claimed that the missing OceanGate Titanic exploration submersible was using Elon Musk’s StarLink satellite internet service. Snopes' headline and article did not match: while the headline asked if the submersible was using StarLink service, the article addressed the claim that OceanGate's missing submersible relied on StarLink satellites during its expedition. Twitter, owned by Musk, has appended a "Community Note" to the Snopes article, stating that while OceanGate has used StarLink services, they have only assisted surface vessels and not submersibles due to radio frequency limitations, which do not work reliably underwater.

The Epoch Times: EPA Official Finally Testifies to House on Controversial Emissions Rules After Refusal in May
A top EPA official, Joseph Goffman, appeared before Congress on June 21 to discuss the agency’s proposed tailpipe emissions rules. The EPA predicts that by 2032, two-thirds of new light-body vehicles sold in the US will be electric. Goffman's appearance follows his decision to decline to show up at a similar hearing in May, with Rep. Pat Fallon (R-Texas) questioning why he had not accepted the first invitation. A nomination from President Biden to lead the EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation, Goffman, has faced a series of conflicts and controversies that have led to criticism from some senators, particularly on issues of energy, policy, and ethics violations.
The Epoch Times: Toxic Algae Sickness Spreads Among California Marine Wildlife
Hundreds of dolphins and other marine mammals in Southern California have become sick or died due to toxic algae bloom. The fast-growing algae produces domoic acid, which is transferred into the food web and ingested by marine mammals like sea lions and dolphins when they eat affected prey. Reports of sick and dead marine mammals have been fielded from June 8 through June 14 by the Channel Islands Marine & Wildlife Institute, which is part of the West Coast Marine Mammal Stranding Network. The American Spectator: California Chooses Social Over Civil Engineering
Transit advocates are more focused on changing driving behavior instead of efficiently moving people around. Policies like controls on parking spaces aim to limit automobile usage and promote transit, not improve efficiency. California policymakers have been campaigning against car dependence for years, even though the state's largest city is a product of post-war suburban development patterns. Many planning documents from transportation agencies prioritize social equity and environmental justice concerns over the day-to-day concerns of drivers. Transit planners should view systems primarily as transportation conveyances and not civil-rights and environmental instruments if they want to appeal to potential riders.
