Daily Wire: Fed Who Had Classified Docs At Home Gets Prison Sentence After Guilty Plea To Same Charge Facing Trump
Fed Who Had Classified Docs At Home Gets Prison Sentence After Guilty Plea To Same Charge Facing Trump
Former FBI intelligence official Kendra Kingsbury was sentenced to nearly four years in prison for unlawfully retaining documents related to the national defense. Kingsbury pled guilty to two counts of violating 18 U.S.C. § 793(e), Willful Retention of National Defense Information. She was charged with keeping classified documents in her home, including her bathroom. The case raised concerns as investigators found that Kingsbury contacted phone numbers associated with subjects of counterterrorism investigations, but she declined to provide any further information.

Former President Donald Trump was charged with violating the exact same statute as Kendra Kingsbury, and faces 31 counts of violating 18 U.S.C. § 793(e). All the charges he faces are over documents that federal investigators recovered after issuing a grand jury subpoena to him last June, and he also stored boxes of documents in his bathroom. The indictment against Kingsbury showed that prosecutors found more questions than answers in their investigation, as she contacted phone numbers associated with subjects of counterterrorism investigations and declined to provide any further information.

The Epoch Times: Musk's Twitter Threatened With $700,000 Daily Fine Unless It Tackles 'Hate Speech'
Musk's Twitter Threatened With $700,000 Daily Fine Unless It Tackles 'Hate Speech'
Australia’s eSafety commissioner has issued Elon Musk’s Twitter with a legal notice to explain what it is doing to tackle hate speech on its platform. The commissioner says it has received “more complaints about online hate on Twitter in the past 12 months” than any other platform and alleges an “increasing number” of reports of serious online abuse since Musk took over in October 2022.

The commissioner also apportioned blame for the increase in “hate speech” on Musk’s decision to cut Twitter’s global workforce from 8,000 to 1,500 (including its “trust and safety teams”) and ending its public policy presence in Australia. Musk has indicated that the staff cuts were necessary because the company was inefficient and overstaffed.

Iconic Landmark Gets 'Pride Month' Makeover, Citizens Are Furious
Citizens of Las Vegas are reacting with frustration as the iconic "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign is decorated in support of "pride month" with rainbow-colored lights. Some residents are taking to Twitter to express opposition to the sign being used to promote the "radical leftist agenda." Despite Las Vegas' reputation for vice and decadence, even blue areas of the country are seeing a backlash against the aggressive LGBT agenda. This backlash raises questions about whether the promotion of the LGBT agenda has gone too far.

The American Spectator: Manual Cars Will Soon Be No More
Manual Cars Will Soon Be No More
Manual transmissions in cars are becoming increasingly rare as manufacturers move towards automatic-only models due to pressure from government regulations. It's easier for manufacturers to comply with regulations by selling automatic vehicles, as they can be programmed to do better on tests measuring compliance. Manual cars require the driver's input, making it difficult to programme compliance. It has reached a point where it's difficult to buy a car that doesn't come with "advanced driver assistance technology" due to government regulation. The popularity for manual cars has also declined, making it less likely that manufacturers will continue to produce them in the future.

Flag And Cross: When Woman's Car Breaks Down at Chik-fil-A, Staff Turns Restaurant Into Repair Shop and That Was Just the Beginning
When Woman's Car Breaks Down at Chik-fil-A, Staff Turns Restaurant Into Repair Shop and That Was Just the Beginning
Catherine Serra has written on Facebook how an unexpected visit to a Chick-fil-A restaurant turned out to be a blessing after her car broke down, preventing her from driving onward with her daughter to visit a nearby college. She said one of the restaurant's employees calmly helped her push her vehicle to the side, while the manager organised for former employee and mechanic Brigham Barnes to diagnose and fix the problem, and the owner arranged for a ride to the college for Serra and her daughter, before "literally" repairing her car while they were away. Serra was grateful for the staff's collective goodwill, and wrote: "Thank you, Branson CFA for being the hands and feet [of Jesus]."

Colorado Health Clinic Invited Children With Autism To Drag Story Hour: Report

Seven Dimensions Behavioral Health, which specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, invited families to attend the event. Parental rights group Parents Defending Education obtained a copy of the clinic's email promotion and condemned the organization for targeting a vulnerable population, while experts have cited a potential link between children with autism and an increased tendency to identify as transgender. The event has raised concerns about medically inappropriate programming.

Loudoun Schools Honchos, In Perjury Trial, Testify They Can’t Remember Almost Anything About Rape Scandal
Officials at Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia claimed to have limited memory or familiarity with a rape scandal that has rocked the area's politics for two years. Public Information Officer Wayde Byard is on trial for perjury after contradicting testimony given by colleagues in a grand jury hearing. Principal Tim Flynn disputed Byard's claims that he had not known about an alleged bathroom rape until months after. Byard's boss and legal subordinates lacked recall of a Daily Wire email sent to them setting out the story that would help bring the scandal to public attention.

The Epoch Times: New Jersey's Concealed Carry Ban Reimposed by Federal Appeals Court
New Jersey's Concealed Carry Ban Reimposed by Federal Appeals Court
New Jersey's restrictive handgun carry law has been reinstated by a federal appeals court, banning carrying guns in sensitive places like bars or libraries, siding with New Jersey Attorney General when it voted 2-1 to allow most of the ban to take effect while litigation continues. Prior to the appeals court's decision, a district judge had blocked the ban, arguing that the prohibition violated Second Amendment rights. The new ruling means that handguns are prohibited in several so-called "sensitive places" including zoos, public parks, public libraries, museums, bars, and healthcare facilities.

Newsbusters: Column: The Unmissable Liberal Tilt of the ‘Fact Checkers’
Column: The Unmissable Liberal Tilt of the ‘Fact Checkers’
Conservative Twitter users are ridiculing CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale, pointing out his lack of scrutiny towards President Biden. Many have criticized CNN for targeting Republicans and neglecting to fact-check Democrats. This is not limited to CNN, as PolitiFact has also been accused of having a left-leaning bias. In particular, PolitiFact has been criticized for the differences in their evaluation of Ted Cruz and Elizabeth Warren, with Cruz receiving significantly more negative evaluations than Warren. Chuck Todd of NBC has defended the perceived bias, stating that Republicans are being factually incorrect more often than Democrats.
