Breitbart: Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Wants $25M to Pay Rent for Illegal Aliens
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson aims to spend $25m of taxpayers' money to provide rent for more than 6,500 illegal aliens in the city. Since 2018, around 10,000 illegal migrants have arrived in Chicago, many on buses from Texas. Johnson also plans to house over 300 border crossers and illegal aliens in a sports centre in the city. Legal and illegal immigration has increased rent prices for working and middle-class Americans; New York Magazine recently noted that mass immigration is "bad for housing prices." A 2013 study by the Michael Bloomberg-funded New American Economy revealed that immigration raised housing costs by $3.7tn for the future generation of homeowners.

Breitbart: Trump: I 'Don't Want to Talk About' COVID Vaccine Because Republicans Hate It -- DeSantis Promoted It at First
Trump claims he saved 100 million lives with the coronavirus vaccine but doesn't want to talk about it as it's not a great thing to discuss as a Republican. He opposes mandates, but left the matter up to state governors and accused Ron DeSantis of pushing the vaccine before turning against it. Trump also mentioned that he let governors make their own decisions regarding vaccines and that people who love vaccines are mostly Democrat.
Red State: Report: Hunter Biden Settles Child Support Dispute Over Daughter
Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts may have privately settled their child support dispute, with her reportedly agreeing to her $20,000 monthly child support payments being slashed after showing up in person to his deposition. The final terms of the settlement are still being determined, but it may involve a reduction to $5,000 per month. It is not clear whether Roberts will continue to seek the use of the Biden name for their child. Roberts' lawyer has accused the Biden family of refusing to recognize the child, noting that Jill Biden wrote a children's book but did not name Navy. The settlement comes ahead of Hunter Biden's plea agreement, which may result in no jail time.
Breitbart: Trump: I Wasn't 'Allowed to Fire' Fauci, I 'Usually' Wouldn't Let that Stop Me -- DeSantis 'Loved' Him and I Didn't Spend Much Time with Fauci
Former President Donald Trump spoke to Fox News about Dr. Anthony Fauci, saying he didn't fire him because he couldn't, but he didn't spend a lot of time with him anyway. He also stated that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis "loved Fauci." Trump let governors make their own decisions about vaccines, but was always against mandates. He claims there are people who say he saved 100 million lives.
Daily Wire: Pro-Life Activists Celebrate One Year Anniversary Without Roe v. Wade
Pro-life advocates celebrated the one-year anniversary of the US Supreme Court’s Dobbs v.s. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. Pro-life legislation has been implemented by female lawmakers across nearly half of the US, and pregnancy centers and maternity homes outnumber Planned Parenthood facilities 14-to-1. Pro-life organizations hope to transition into a new culture of life where positive choices will replace the cycle of harm caused by abortion.
Breitbart: Harris: When Roe v. Wade Overturned I Was Angry, Extremely Sad
VP Kamala Harris expresses anger and sadness over the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, saying it was a stark restriction of rights that had been recognized and will cause real people to suffer in silence without resources.
Breitbart: White House Plans Pro-Abortion Events Ahead of Dobbs Anniversary
The Biden White House has Planned Parenthood Action Fund, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and EMILY's List supporting their pro-abortion events ahead of the first anniversary of the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision. First Lady Jill Biden began the week with a roundtable conversation on Tuesday, and Harris will deliver a "major speech" in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, focusing on the presidential administration's pro-abortion efforts.

Hunter Biden pleads guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and must pay the taxes he owes, as well as enter a diversion program for his charge relating to lying on a federal form when applying for a gun license. Tucker Carlson criticizes the Justice Department for giving Hunter Biden special treatment because he's the son of President Joe Biden. In his latest Twitter episode, Carlson claimed that above all, there was no felony and Hunter Biden can still carry a gun, and there was no perp walk, handcuffs or press conference as in most of the developing world.

Flag And Cross: King Charles III's Childhood Drawings Of Queen Elizabeth II And Prince Philip To Be Auctioned
Childhood drawings by King Charles III of his parents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, have been discovered after 40 years and are set to fetch thousands at auction. The crayon and pencil portraits are set to sell for between £5,000-£10,000 ($6,287 to $12,582) and are part of an “extraordinary” royal memorabilia collection that also includes early drawings by the King, royal letters, family photos and a Buckingham Palace manuscript menu diary. The items were given to author and former royal correspondent Henry Ramsay Maule to assist with his work documenting the life of the Royal Family, predominantly from the 1950s-1970s. The items were inherited by Maule's family when he passed away in 1981.
Other early drawings by King Charles III are also set for auction, including pictures of birds, a delivery van and an illustration made by the King for his father. Handmade cards by a young Princess Anne will also be sold at the auction, along with several photos of the Royal Family. Charles Hanson, owner of Hansons Auctioneers, called the collection “an extraordinarily touching collection” and stated that it offers fresh insight into the lives of the British Royal Family.

Newsbusters: CBS Baselessly Ties Roe Overturn to Shortage of Maternal Healthcare
Mississippi is facing a shortage of maternal healthcare providers and hospitals for women giving birth. Despite the efforts of Republican Governor of Mississippi Tate Reeves to solve the issue, at least three labor and delivery units have closed down, leaving rural emergency rooms with inadequate supplies. Dr. Rachel Morris of the University of Mississippi Medical Center has launched a program called Stork, that trains emergency workers to deliver babies in rural areas that lack obstetrics.
Flag And Cross: Phone Addiction Could Shorten Kids' Lives, Says Expert
A psychotherapist warns that an addiction to phones could shorten children’s life spans due to the impact on their mental health and cardiovascular system. Dr. Charlotte Armitage bans her nine-year-old daughter from social media use in addition to limiting phone time. She believes growing up surrounded by devices could lead to negative impact on children’s mental health and longevity. Charlotte urges parents to teach their children that families, friends, and communities are schools rather than the whole world on a small device. She also recommends adults to set a good example for their children by setting boundaries on device use.
Flag And Cross: Air Pollution Worsens COVID-19, Even At Low Levels, New Study Finds
New research reveals that even low levels of air pollution can make COVID-19 worse. Exposure resulted in an average of four extra days in the hospital for patients. Alarmingly, the results showed that the size of the effect of air pollution on time in the hospital was equivalent to the effect of a ten-year increase in age.
Red State: Federal Judge Strikes Down Arkansas Law Banning 'Gender-Affirming' Care for Minors as Unconstitutional
A US federal judge ruled the 2021 Arkansas law that banned chemical castration and sex-change surgeries for minors unconstitutional. He described it as "experimentation" and claimed that decades of clinical experience and scientific research refuted such arguments. The Republican Attorney General Tim Griffin plans to appeal the decision. Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, "This is not "care" – it’s activists pushing a political agenda at the expense of our kids and subjecting them to permanent and harmful procedures". The law will affect only Arkansas despite 19 states with laws against "trans-ing" children.

Forbes: Did Hunter Biden Get Off Easy? Republicans Think So—Here’s What Legal Experts Say
Hunter Biden has reached a plea deal with the US Justice Department in a case relating to tax and gun charges. The agreement will see Biden avoid prison time, and instead he will be required to meet certain conditions, such as staying drug-free for two years and never owning a firearm again. Although the Justice Department data highlights the rarity of the gun charge, some legal experts claimed that Biden's penalties are harsher than usual. Republicans have criticised the deal, alleging that the Justice Department let the president's son off easy, compared to the way former President Donald Trump has been treated in a different case.

Forbes: Titanic Sub Search: Fact-Checking Claims About The Tourist Submersible That Went Missing
As rescue teams search for the missing Titan submersible, speculation has grown over what went wrong and the options available for the five people on board, as they have less than 40 hours of oxygen left. The navigational equipment, including a gaming controller, has come under scrutiny, though similar controllers are used on other military equipment. The submersible relies on just one button to plunge to the ocean’s surface and has no radar or GPS navigation system. It is described as experimental and has not been approved by any regulatory body, though it has completed two successful voyages to the Titanic.
Forbes: Stan Lee Keeps Getting Credit For The Wrong Thing
Last week, Disney+ released a documentary about Stan Lee, rekindling the debate about his role in creating Marvel's superheroes. Lee claimed primary credit, while artists pointed to collaboration and disputed his claims. However, Lee had a pivotal role in Marvel's rise, bringing a generation into his confidence and turning a second-rate publisher into a cultural touchstone and entertainment juggernaut. While Lee's maximalist position regarding creation against evidence supporting colleagues' claims highlights his least endearing qualities, his brand-building genius cemented him as one of American comics' most significant figures.
