Fox News: Knives out for Casey DeSantis as wife of Florida governor, top Trump rival becomes media's latest target
Casey DeSantis, wife of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has been the target of media attacks ever since her husband announced his presidential run. Politico wrote a controversial article titled "The Casey DeSantis Problem: ‘His Greatest Asset and His Greatest Liability’" that compared her to Lady Macbeth, while The Daily Beast called her "Walmart Melania" for wearing a leather jacket that read "Where woke goes to die." The Washington Post also drew attention to her "insular marriage" with the governor. Critics argue that such aggression against a political spouse is unprecedented and smacks of bias against a Republican candidate.
Fox News: Five signs Biden's campaign has Democrats in full panic mode
Democrats are panicking as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. gains in primary polls and could become a challenger to Biden. The DNC has worked with major media outlets to smear Kennedy with negative stories to depict him as a “nut job” spreading vaccine misinformation. The DNC has also been waging a war against No Labels, a centrist group aiming to put forward moderate candidates, and view a Joe Manchin/Nikki Haley ticket as a threat. In times of stress, the Left calls on former President Obama to come to Biden’s aid, while Biden himself has yet to rent a campaign office, hire essential staff, and raise enough money, leaving the campaign faltering.
California governor Gavin Newsom has engaged in a publicity blitz and is preparing to run if and when Democrats abandon Biden. Biden’s team is faltering with a lack of funding, and the longer Republican candidates get a chance to define and attack Biden’s policies, the more voters will believe he does not deserve another four years. The DNC is in full panic mode and scrambling to keep Uncle Joe in the running, and to shut down any Democrat or Republican challengers who could undermine Biden’s chance at reelection.
