The Epoch Times: Victorian Premier Refuses to Apologise to Female MP for 'Halfwit' Jibe
Victorian Premier Refuses to Apologise to Female MP for 'Halfwit' Jibe
Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews refuses to apologize for calling a female Liberal MP a "halfwit grub" in state parliament, leading the opposition to accuse Andrews of being a "serial bully." Andrews defends himself by claiming he was defending a Labor colleague. The incident occurred during a vote on a bill to crack down on lobbyists related to a corruption watchdog report into former state Labor minister Theo Theophanous, which found that he failed to declare his involvement in lobbying for Australian Education City (AEC).

Forbes: The Russians Built A New Rocket-Armed Fighting Vehicle. Ten Days Later, The Ukrainians Blew it Up.
The Russians Built A New Rocket-Armed Fighting Vehicle. Ten Days Later, The Ukrainians Blew it Up.
A Russian BTR-80 armed with UB-32 rocket pods was destroyed by Ukrainian first-person racing drones just 10 days after its debut. The BTR-80 was an expedient measure used by the Russian army because it has lost at least 10,000 armored vehicles during the 16-month war in Ukraine. Rocket pods for unguided rockets work when mounted on helicopters and planes because the vehicles have ballistic computers that help their crews aim. The BTR-80, mounted on eight wheels and crewed by ten soldiers, however, did not have this advantage, and it was unclear whether the Ukrainian drones merely damaged it or disabled it. Russians are scrambling to reinforce key sectors, and have recently been using more crude technical machinery, the inevitable consequence of limited resources and high demand.

PJ Media: The Morning Briefing: Maybe Someone Should Tell Team Biden That China and Iran Are Bad
The Morning Briefing: Maybe Someone Should Tell Team Biden That China and Iran Are Bad
Biden and his administration are cozying up to America's enemies, like China and Iran, while identifying soccer moms and Catholic churchgoers as the real threats to the country. Antony Blinken, Biden's secretary of state, used CCP propaganda to legitimize CCP claims and assert that the US does not support Taiwan independence. This cowardly and pandering behavior is outrageously disgusting.

The Epoch Times: Greenwash Claim as Miner Pledges to Stay Away From Town
Greenwash Claim as Miner Pledges to Stay Away From Town
Environmentalists accuse Alcoa of "greenwashing" after the company pledged not to mine within three kilometres of tourist town Dwellingup, home to ancient Jarrah forests in Western Australia. Alcoa is seeking approval to clear over 9,000 hectares of forest and increase production at its Pinjarra refinery. The company operates two bauxite mines and three alumina refineries in Western Australia's south. The Wilderness Society criticised Alcoa for its "inaction" and said that it was already at risk with its "shaky" social license. Earlier this year Alcoa was found by environmental regulators to have built a pipeline that risked leaking toxic chemicals into dam water supplies.
