PJ Media: Trump Predicted Hunter Biden’s Sweetheart Deal
Hunter Biden avoided jail time for tax violations and violating federal gun laws with a plea deal to plead guilty to misdemeanor tax fraud and admit to a gun charge of lying on a government form. Donald Trump predicted this would happen weeks ago and condemned the "corrupt" Biden DOJ on Truth Social. Republicans see this as further evidence of a biased justice system.
The Federalist: Gov. Greg Abbott Signs Bill Allowing Texas To Withdraw From ERIC
Texas Governor Abbott signed SB 1070, allowing the state to withdraw from ERIC, a voter-roll management group that inflates voter rolls by requiring member states to contact eligible but unregistered residents and encouraging them to register. The state can now clean its voter rolls with a separate private sector data system to identify voters whose addresses have changed, who are registered to vote in more than one state, who are deceased and who are not qualified to vote under state law. ERIC membership costs Texan taxpayers about $1.5 million, with roughly $115,000 going towards “annual fees to use ERIC’s voter-matching data.”
Daily Wire: What’s The GOP Doing About The DOJ Double Standard?
Hunter Biden negotiated a plea deal with Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, where he will plead guilty to failing to pay about $1.2 million in taxes in 2017 and 2018, as well as admitting to the facts of a gun charge. Critics argue that the deal is a slap on the wrist, pointing out that it runs afoul of the DOJ’s own protocols. Republican politicians have criticized the DOJ's handling of the investigation, but have not produced a credible plan to hold the Democrats accountable for their crimes.
Breitbart: Election Interference: YouTube Censors Jordan Peterson Interview of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
YouTube has removed a video interview of Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. by Jordan Peterson, citing "vaccine misinformation." However, the move has prompted accusations of political interference, with Peterson calling it "blatant interference in the electoral process." RFK Jr. has called for public pressure on the platform, which is owned by Google, to address its actions. He also called for people to continue uploading videos to YouTube expressing their own views. Breitbart News has previously published leaked documents that reveal how YouTube actively interferes in U.S. politics through a "blacklist" file of politically changed search terms.
Daily Wire: ‘Morning Joe’ Panel Spins Hunter Indictment As ‘Good News’ For Joe Biden
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and panel spin Hunter Biden's indictment as "good news" for President Joe Biden, calling it yet another failed "conspiracy theory" by Republicans. Hunter Biden has reportedly struck a deal to plead guilty to misdemeanor tax crimes and avoid jail time. Scarborough and Jonathan Lemire agree that the investigations on other issues related to Hunter will continue, but celebrate that there is nothing directly tying Joe Biden to the charges.
PJ Media: GOP Can't Believe Presidential Princeling Hunter Biden's 'Sweetheart' Plea Deal
Hunter Biden has made a plea deal with the U.S. Attorney in Delaware after failing to pay taxes and lying about being a crack addict on a federal background check document. The two misdemeanor tax charges mean he will not face more serious charges for allegedly engaging in a pattern of corruption with his business deals and possibly accepting a bribe from Ukraine’s Burisma energy company.
President Trump and Don Jr. have criticized the light charges and called it a cover-up and interference in the election. The deal has raised concerns of favoritism and the two-tiered system of justice in the U.S. as Hunter Biden receives no jail time while others would be charged with a felony.
The Federalist: Hunter Biden’s Charges Are Nothing But A Diversion
The Department of Justice has brought charges against Hunter Biden for a host of criminal acts, but is letting him walk away with probation for two tax fraud misdemeanors and dismissing a felony firearms charge. This resolution seems too good to be true and only highlights the disparity between Hunter's case and everyone else's. It paints a picture of a two-tiered justice system.
Fox News: Did Fauci really retire? Rand Paul demands employment status from Biden admin
Senator Rand Paul is demanding information on whether Dr. Anthony Fauci is still receiving government perks after stepping down from his role as the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Paul has sent a letter to the Health and Human Services Secretary, the department’s Inspector General, and the current head of the National Institutes of Health, asking for more information regarding Fauci’s employment status and receipt of taxpayer-funded benefits. The senator is concerned that Fauci may still be receiving taxpayer-funded benefits associated with active public service, such as legal counsel and protective services.
Paul previously speculated that Fauci might be using his employment in the administration as a legal shield to avoid being indicted and called for an investigation into the matter. The senator is now looking to find out whether Fauci is still affiliated with HHS, NIH, or other federal agencies, and whether he is taking a salary at U.S. taxpayers’ expense. The letter also asks whether Fauci still has access to non-public government facilities and if he is getting any legal or security services from the government.

Fox News: Meghan Markle accused of hardly doing any work on her own podcast in new report
Spotify did not renew Meghan Markle's podcast contract, and rumors began to circulate that Markle did little work on the show, according to Podnews.net. Senior Spotify podcast executive Bill Simmons called Markle and Prince Harry "grifters" on his podcast. The show, produced under Markle and Prince Harry’s podcast company, Archewell Audio, only ran 12 episodes, and insiders claim that Markle hadn’t even conducted all of her own interviews.
The Blaze: Squires: Conservatives attack Juneteenth because they've let feelings about their political foes trump facts about history
Conservatives are failing to fight for America's children and history, leading to the encroachment of the "Pride" agenda into all areas of society. Juneteenth's elevation to a federal holiday has become partisan, with conservatives like Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk dismissing it as "lame" and "CRT-inspired." In a culture of partisan politics, both progressives and conservatives are driven by enemies rather than values, cannibalizing their own history and rhetoric in response to each other. We have become a nation defined by our enemies, which is detrimental to our institutions and national cohesion.
Daily Wire: 4 Dead After Fire At New York City E-Bike Repair Shop
Four people are dead and two are in hospital following an accidental fire at a Manhattan e-bike repair shop caused by a lithium-ion battery. The fire is part of a growing problem in New York City caused by e-bikes and scooters, which use lithium-ion batteries and have been linked to a number of fires in the area. The fire started on the ground floor of the HQ E-Bike shop before spreading to the apartments above, leading to the displacement of 25 people. The New York Fire Department is encouraging the public to follow safety practices to prevent fires and remain safe around lithium-ion batteries.

Fox News: Child who survived school massacre recounts gruesome action to hide from gunmen
Suspected Islamist rebels in Uganda attacked a school, killing at least 41 people, including 38 students, who were burned, shot or hacked to death. The Allied Democratic Forces, affiliated with ISIS, is believed to have carried out the attack and abducted at least six others who they took to Congo. A student who survived the attack described how he smeared his dead colleagues' blood on himself to make the attackers think he was dead. The attackers shot him in the hand but later left when they found no pulse. Nigeria's President Buhari replaced all of the country's security chiefs in a major shakeup of security structures.

Fox News: Biden admin walks tightrope amid Albanian police raid on Iranian dissidents that killed one, injured dozens
Albanian police raided two Iranian opposition camps in search of cyberattack suspects, resulting in injuries and one death. The Mujahedeen-e-Khalq group, comprised of 3,000 Iranian oppositionists, claims that Albanian officers violently broke inside and confiscated personal computers and devices from residents. The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) called the raid "criminal and repressive" and has petitioned the US, UN, and EU to condemn the act and hold Albania accountable for human rights violations. This puts the US in a difficult position, as it has supported these Iranian dissidents since 2009, even after the group was removed from the designated terrorist list in 2012.

Forbes: America’s Largest Newspaper Publisher Sues Google–Here’s Why
Gannett filed a lawsuit against Google over its monopoly on advertising, leading to a lack of competition in the space and less revenue for news publishers. The declining advertising revenue and subscriptions in the newspaper industry, which has led to more misinformation, government corruption, and lower rates of civic engagement, is attributed to the tech giants Google and Facebook. The American Economic Liberties Project reported that 86% of online advertising is now sold through a controlled "advertising exchange," and news organizations are only receiving 30 to 50 cents per dollar of advertising revenue.
Breitbart: Nolte: Wall Street Bets Against Democrat-Run Downtowns
Wall Street is betting against Democrat-run downtowns ever recovering from the COVID pandemic, with falling bond prices and real estate investments. This puts a strain on the collection of property taxes and other wealth extraction efforts from city residents. Cities affected include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and San Francisco. Democrat Sociopaths are to blame for the shutdowns that caused this mess.
Investors' dim view of downtowns isn't good news for (Democrat-run) cities' finances, puts traditional wealth extraction efforts under strain, and highlights the failure of Democrat Sociopaths' leadership. The work from home trend exploded when companies discovered it was cheaper. And when power-mad Democrats unleashed chaos, draconian lockdowns, and disrupted citizens' lives, people fled, leaving behind these struggling cities.
Breitbart: China's Floundering Economy Triggers Plunge in Global Stocks and Oil Prices
Stocks and futures dropped worldwide, triggered by China announcing a much smaller interest rate reduction than anticipated. The move was seen as underwhelming by economists, who found Beijing’s policy moves profoundly disappointing, and investors were waiting until July’s Politburo meeting for stronger action. The reduction in rates is unlikely to offer a strong boost to reverse the growth slippage in the near future. Oil prices also fell, even though OPEC is trying to push prices up by cutting output and the Biden administration’s war on U.S. energy production continues due to Iran’s record-high crude exports and oil output despite U.S. sanctions .

The Epoch Times: Supreme Court Declines Appeal From Christian School in Transgender Housing Case
The Supreme Court declined to hear the appeal of the Christian College of the Ozarks on a lawsuit against the Biden administration over its transgender housing policy. The College of the Ozarks argued that the federal housing policy interferes with its faith practice and belief of assigning dormitories according to biological sex. The court ruled that the school lacks standing because there was no enforcement, and the DOJ previously stated their religious exemption to the housing policy.

Fox News: Comedian Rob Schneider mocks the left in new special: There is 'no forgiveness from liberal intelligentsia'
Comedian Rob Schneider appears on Fox & Friends, doubling down on the importance of cracking jokes in the face of cancel culture. Schneider believes that the "authoritarianism, especially coming from the liberal intelligentsia, deserves to be mocked, and it's easy to do," and that comedy should be approached with courage, rather than fear. In his new stand-up special, "Rob Schneider: Woke Up in America," he discusses his comedic take on a range of topics, including COVID mask mandates and diversity-focused companies. Schneider believes that it is important to uphold the values of America, including freedom of speech, and that silencing dissenters leads to real authoritarianism.
Fox News: Colin Kaepernick praises so-called 'Black Marxists' he worked with for new book, touches on White supremacy
Colin Kaepernick co-edited and wrote an essay in a new book titled "Our History Has Always Been Contraband: In Defense of Black Studies," set to be released on July 4. The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback-turned-social justice activist praised the Black Marxist writers and hoped the book challenges readers' thinking about capitalism. Kaepernick has been at the forefront of social activism, calling for the abolishment of police and prisons, accusing NFL owners of blackballing him from the league, and founding the Know Your Rights Camp nonprofit organization. He believes GOP attacks on Black Studies threaten the white supremacist status quo and are core to their white supremacist political project.
Daily Wire: Conservative Women Are Prettier Than Liberals, According To AI
An AI model has given conservative women high "attractiveness" scores resulting in them being perceived as happier than left-wing women. The study used headshots of 3,233 Danish political candidates who ran for local office in the 2017 Danish Municipal election with the results being published in the journal Scientific Reports. The AI correctly predicted the political leanings of both men and women 61% of the time, based on one photo of the person's face, showing the ease with which AI can identify personal information such as ideology.
The Blaze: South Park creators invest $40 million to revive iconic Casa Bonita restaurant: 'It doesn’t stink like chlorine any more'
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have restored Colorado restaurant Casa Bonita with a $40 million renovation. The iconic landmark saw bouts of dilapidation and bankruptcy before the revamp, which included updating the food and employing new executive chef Dana Rodriguez. Parker said the restoration was "emotional" and "not a joke", and had cost "close to infinity". With 500 jobs reportedly available, Stone added that the building had been restored "like a piece of art". The restaurant, which featured in South Park's 2003 episode "Casa Bonita", is set to open in 2023 and is collecting emails for a "beta testing" treat for customers.

Red State: Megyn Kelly Has the Perfect Response to Peter Hotez's Meltdown, Possible Departure From Twitter
Vaccine researcher Peter Hotez refused to debate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Joe Rogan's show, despite being offered $100k to the charity of his choice. This sparked a lot of Internet debate, including Elon Musk accusing Hotez of being afraid to debate. Hotez also claimed that science wasn't about debating, and spent the last couple of days on Twitter retweeting every liberal media source that supported him. Implying he may leave Twitter now, Hotez's meltdown resulted in criticism from fellow scientists who stated that if he was confident about his positions, he should defend them and have open dialogue.
Fox News: Europe pumps the brakes on transgender care for minors amid uproar in US
European medical professionals are pushing back on gender transition services for minors due to concerns over the reliability of supporting studies and the serious risks involved. In the U.S., national medical groups are advocating for the services, putting America at odds with European countries like the UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and France that allow puberty blockers and gender transition surgeries. More than a dozen Republican-led states have already acted to ban or limit the use of puberty blockers on minors.
The Epoch Times: RFK Jr. Cries Foul as YouTube Removes Interview for Vaccine ‘Misinformation’
YouTube deleted an episode of the “Jordan B. Peterson Podcast” featuring presidential contender Robert F. Kennedy Jr. due to alleged vaccine misinformation. The deletion prompted Kennedy to ask his followers on Twitter whether social media platforms should censor presidential candidates. YouTube responded that its Community Guidelines apply equally to all creators on its platform, regardless of political viewpoint. The company did not specify which statements in the episode violated its policy, but Kennedy’s campaign said that there had been no such violation. The Democratic candidate has also been banned from Instagram and TikTok over his views on vaccines and COVID-19.

The battery-operated F710 has dual-motor vibration feedback, wireless via a USB nano-receiver and a four-switch D-pad for precise control. The custom-built Titan is the only private submersible in the world that can take people to the Titanic's resting site. The US Coast Guard has been searching for the Titan since it lost contact after about 1 hour and 45 minutes on 14 February.

The Economist: Study drugs make people worse at problem solving, not better
&Technology Researchers at the University of Cambridge have found that study drugs, such as Adderall, Ritalin, and Provigil, do not improve cognitive performance in people without ADHD. Instead, these drugs may hinder their ability to solve problems by making the non-optimal solutions worse, even though users made a greater effort to complete the tasks. The study revealed that participants tested achieved slightly worse end results after taking the medications, and that participants who had previously been top performers became the least effective after taking stimulants. An earlier survey of about 6,500 American college students revealed that 14% of them used study drugs for non-medical reasons.
&Technology The idea of "holobionts" challenges a standard principle in biology as it represents a paradigm shift in the way we imagine living organisms. Holobionts are meta-organisms composed of animals, plants, and the microbes in and on them. In contrast to a more conventional outlook in biology which places primacy on their individual parts such as the body and its microbiome, this view includes the interactions between these entities that can result in synergistic benefits or require cooperation within the organism. Some scientists say may help explain more about the interconnectivity and interdependence of ecosystems.

National Review: The Corner: The Flash: Adding Insult to Injury
The Scarlett Speedster’s first solo installment in the DC extended universe disappoints viewers with bad CGI, an intolerable protagonist, and confused treatment of free will. Ezra Miller's portrayal of Barry Allen is whiny and overly talkative, in contrast to Grant Gustin's endearing and soft-spoken performance. The film's confused treatment of free will and determinism, inspired by the Flashpoint comic and the Justice League animated movie, makes for a frustrating viewing experience.
