These women are left trapped in their in-laws' homes and often defrauded of their dowry money, according to a New York Times article. Meanwhile, U.S. officials are extracting as many visa workers as they can from India, even as they register and release many thousands of Indians as they illegally cross the U.S. border from Mexico. This extraction migration policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries and uses imported workers, renters, and consumers to grow Wall Street and the economy, leading to the reduction of beneficial trade and contributing to low wages, high rents, and housing prices for Americans.

According to the author, a conspiracy theory is simply speculation as to the reasons for coordination, and is not necessarily disreputable. Coordination happens as an extension of shared culture, sociology, and interest, which is how really effective conspiracies work. The power elite know what to believe and what to do without the necessity of external plotting or direction. While documents and evidence may reveal some of the truth, the real conspiracy cannot be fully documented.
