Breitbart: Colombia's Socialist President Considers Paying Communist ELN to Not Commit Terrorism
Colombia's President Gustavo Petro is considering creating an international fund to finance the Marxist National Liberation Army (ELN) terrorist group. The fund would consist of financial contributions from various countries which would then be given to the ELN, in an attempt to entice them to stop their criminal activities against civilians. The President has not given any details of the fund; however, it is suggested he has sought help from European Union nations to fund the project.

Senator David Van resigns from the Liberal Party due to sexual harassment allegations made against him by Senator Lidia Thorpe and former Senator Amanda Stoker. There are reports of another individual who has accused Van of sexual harassment. Opposition Leader Peter Dutton had called on Van to quit parliament altogether, but before a committee could discuss the allegations, Van quit the party. Labor and National MPs support Dutton's decision, and Van will now sit in the Senate on the crossbench.
PJ Media: Dem Rep. Caught Soliciting Donations From Jeffrey Epstein in 2018
Democratic Representative Stacey Plaskett was criticized by journalist Matt Taibbi for smearing him and Michael Shellenberger as "so-called journalists" in an attempt to promote Elon Musk's chosen narrative being parroted by Republicans. Plaskett was invited to corporate media circuit to address the alleged threat posed by white supremacy and failed to address the US government censorship of American citizens. Plaskett was also found to have begged for campaign funds from Jeffrey Epstein in 2018, despite his widely known child sex trafficking scandal. Plaskett personally requested that Epstein be invited to her Bloomberg fundraiser in unsealed documents. The breadcrumbs of criminal behavior left by Plaskett were noted, especially as she is a licensed lawyer.

Front Page Magazine: Why the Left is Losing the Transgender Debate
Support for transgender athletes in women's sports has fallen among Democrats in the U.S., with 48% opposing the idea in 2023, up from 41% two years earlier. Democrats had previously supported men who identified as women playing on female teams. The fall in support is part of a wider de-escalation of the transgender debate, with opponents having started to successfully frame the issue as one of who is being hurt.
The Epoch Times: Huntington Beach to Consider Screening Children’s Library Books for ‘Obscene’ Content
Huntington Beach Mayor Pro Tem Gracey Van Der Mark proposes the screening and banning of "obscene" and "pornographic" books in city libraries that can be accessed by minors. Van Der Mark claims that children are being exposed to age-inappropriate material by adults, including educators, and wants to make the libraries safer for youth. The proposal would require an ordinance requiring the city's libraries to screen books for obscenity or pornography and comply with the First Amendment. Councilman Pat Burns supports the ordinance, while other councilors were not immediately available for comment.

Forbes: As Others Burned Millions To Build Robot Restaurants, This Operator Automated His For Just $200k
Mamma Ramona's restaurant in San Diego pivoted during COVID by offering pizza kits for takeout. Owner Andrew Simmons invested in automation to keep up with demand, including a Picnic pizza robot and a TurboChef oven to cook faster. He also added a dough press and other automated equipment, reducing employee count from 14 to four. Simmons believes automation is necessary to lower costs, especially with potential minimum wage increases in the future. He plans to expand his formula for automated restaurants into a chain and has already reduced dine-in space in favor of production for takeout and delivery.

A congressional staffer, Tyler Dunn, was attacked by armed gunmen outside his residence in D.C. after the annual Congressional Baseball Game. Dunn was targeted for a robbery but managed to escape unharmed, and the suspects were not classified as hate crime-related. Although Dunn will make a full recovery, Rep. Brad Finstad criticized D.C.'s "soft-on-crime" policies. Several members of Congress have been attacked in recent years, including a 2017 shooting that left Rep. Steve Scalise critically injured and multiple incidents of staff being assaulted.

A mystery trucker came to the aid of the police in Martin County, Florida, using his "skills of a linebacker" to help subdue a suspect. He "created the wall that people joke about hitting when they have a bad headache" and tackled the 19-year-old fleeing suspect to the ground. The incident ended with the suspect in custody and no harm done. While thankful for his help, the sheriff's office warned citizens to be careful about such interventions.

Fox News: Water rescue expert theorizes missing Titanic tourist submarine ‘entangled’ on wreckage

Front Page Magazine: Deep State Declares War on Trump Voters
Federal prosecutors are interfering with the election process by pursuing political prosecutions against Trump and his supporters. Special prosecutor Jack Smith is demanding a speedy and unfair trial for Trump's reelection. The liberal media is complaining about Judge Aileen Cannon being assigned the case, but what they dislike is her independence from politics. The federal workers in D.C. are too anti-Trump to allow the democratic process to work properly. The timing of this federal indictment to be less than one week after the suspension of the debt ceiling seems to be more than a coincidence. The Deep State is retaliating against Trump for firing their FBI director and for pardoning victims of DOJ's political prosecutions.
Breitbart: Taliban Central Bank Governor Talks Business with Chinese Ambassador
Afghanistan's Taliban central bank governor met with China's Ambassador to discuss strengthening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. The Chinese Foreign Ministry complained about international sanctions hindering the country's development and welcomed Afghanistan to join the Belt and Road Initiative. Afghan traders are eager to sell to China, but need easier access to visas. The Taliban came to power with promises to be modern, but failed to live up to them, outraging the international community. The UN finds it very difficult to work with the Taliban and the situation in Afghanistan is one of the worst humanitarian disaster areas in the world. Despite this, China is willing to work with the Taliban regime as a trade, investment, and security partner.
Front Page Magazine: CNN Can't Find a Biden Scandal
CNN has shown bias in its coverage of Biden scandals, with a Nexis search revealing only one result in the last month. The network has regularly compared Trump to extreme dictators, but when it comes to the Bidens, it claims "What Biden scandals?" Lawyer and CNN legal analyst Elie Honig criticized the Justice Department's lethargy regarding the Hunter Biden probe and expressed confusion over why the five-year investigation concerning tax questions and the alleged lying on a gun form has yet to receive a verdict. CNN's daily take on the Biden scandals suggests there aren't any, with fewer than two mentions per month on the network. CNN's limited coverage highlights the media's extreme reluctance to investigate allegations of potential financial entanglements between Biden and his son, Hunter, as well as the Bidens’ connections to Ukrainian energy company Burisma. In fact, only one CNN host, Michael Smerconish, has mentioned the informant’s claim that Burisma’s head paid Hunter and Joe Biden $5 million each. The media's unwillingness to investigate allegations of potential corruption underscores Biden’s audacity when it comes to scandals.
