Washington Free Beacon: Why No Labels May Have No Cash and No Plan
Why No Labels May Have No Cash and No Plan
No Labels, a self-proclaimed centrist group that has pledged to spend $70 million on a third-party presidential bid in 2024, has garnered criticism from both Democrats and Republicans. While several reports suggest that the group is in the midst of a $70 million fundraising haul, a spokesman for the group did not respond to a request for comment about its fundraising since 2021, when it controlled just $10 million.

No Labels has faced challenges in gaining access to the ballot, with lawsuits restricting the group to just four states. The group has also said that it will shut down its efforts if polls show President Biden leading significantly in the race, and its chief strategist has said he has little clue how an independent bid would impact the presidential race.

American Thinker: The Republican House Must Make The Senate Offers It Can’t Refuse
The Republican House Must Make The Senate Offers It Can’t Refuse
Republicans in Congress face a daunting task against Democrats who seek to destroy America, while controlling only a single House of Congress and an incompetent president. The Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, should use his power and push for conservative ideas, starting with the Education bill which can include bans on DEI programs, LGBT athletes participating in sports as other than their birth sex, and more, in order to restore constitutional and financial responsibility .

The House should make it a theatrical event by presenting the funding bill in a fancy box to the Majority Leader, publicly proclaiming that the House has done their duty to fund Education. Once the Senate sends back a different bill, the House should simply do nothing and repeat that they have funded the department, leaving the Senate to block DHHS funding .

The Epoch Times: Blinken Meets Chinese Leader Xi, China’s Top Diplomat on 2nd Day of Trip
Blinken Meets Chinese Leader Xi, China’s Top Diplomat on 2nd Day of Trip
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with China's top leaders to maintain open communication, but the trip is drawing criticism from Republicans who say it portrays a position of weakness. Blinken's talks with officials, including Chinese leader Xi Jinping, were described as "candid" and "constructive," but China also demanded that the United States lift its sanctions against China and support its territorial claim over Taiwan. Some experts question the need for dialogue with China, while others urge Blinken to address China's human rights violations, including the persecution of Christians, Falun Gong practitioners, Tibetans, and Uyghurs.

Fox News: UK worker fired over Facebook posts criticizing transgenderism, sex education in primary schools wins appeal
UK worker fired over Facebook posts criticizing transgenderism, sex education in primary schools wins appeal
A UK woman won her appeal after being fired from her job as a teaching assistant at her son's primary school for speaking out against transgender and sex education lessons. Kristie Higgs argues that her firing was an attack on her Christian faith. She raised concerns on her private Facebook page, shared an online petition and made comments about the curriculum. The school denied firing her due to her beliefs, but the judge ruled in her favour stating that freedom to express views relating to religious beliefs is a protected right in a democracy.

American Thinker: Sound of Freedom: The Story of One Man’s War on Child Trafficking
Sound of Freedom: The Story of One Man’s War on Child Trafficking
JPMorgan accuses former USVI governor's wife of working for Jeffrey Epstein while the bank reached a $290 million settlement with some of Epstein's victims. Child trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal enterprise in the world today and is believed to yield annual profits of $32 billion in the US and $150 billion worldwide. Tim Ballard founded Operation Underground Railroad to rescue victims from child sex rings, which resulted in 7,000 direct rescues, 5,000 arrests, and therapeutic aftercare for rescued children. Ballard blames the woke political atmosphere and Biden's open border policy for contributing to child trafficking. The missing 85,000 children arriving unaccompanied at the border facilitated this, with many so-called sponsors being part of exploitative networks. The film Sound of Freedom highlights the issue and shows ordinary people what they can do against nefarious worldwide networks.

Forbes: What A Carbon-Neutral World Cup Might Actually Look Like
What A Carbon-Neutral World Cup Might Actually Look Like
Swiss Advertising Authority found that FIFA's claims of a carbon-neutral Qatar World Cup 2022 misled the public & breached Swiss Federal law. Carbon Market Watch found FIFA underestimated emissions from stadium construction and shuttles. Fossil Free Football recommends using existing infrastructure, better public transport, and more local ticket sales. They also suggest selling no more than 80% of tickets to locals. Announcing schedules earlier and grouping early stages of European competitions regionally, can help soccer reduce carbon emissions. Fossil Free Football requests soccer stop giving a platform to big polluters as well.
