Breitbart: More Voters Increasingly Believe Joe Biden Involved in Family's Business
More Voters Increasingly Believe Joe Biden Involved in Family's Business
Polls show growing belief among voters that President Joe Biden was somehow involved in his family's foreign business deals, despite his repeated denials and deflections. In June 2022, a Harvard Cap/Harris poll found that 66% of voters believed Biden discussed business with his son, while a previous Rasmussen poll from September 2022 indicated that 62% of voters thought Biden maybe consulted on and profited from family business deals. Despite accusations of a $5 million bribe by Ukrainian businessman Mykola Zlochevsky, Biden's campaign spokesman and Biden himself deny any involvement in overseas business.

Nearly 300 Absentee Ballots From 2020 Election Found in Michigan Storage Unit
Around 300 absentee ballots from Michigan's 2020 election were found in a shed. A Thetford Township Supervisor discovered the ballots in a storage unit while following up on a report from an employee in the township clerk's office. The ballots were sent for an audit, revealing that 39 people did not receive a ballot to vote, though others whose ballots were lost in the mail were able to cast their vote. The discovery could have affected the results of a local election where Katie Hicks lost by only 19 votes. Concerns remain over the integrity of future elections.

The Epoch Times: South Carolina GOP Sets Feb. 24 Date for First-in-the-South Presidential Primary
South Carolina GOP Sets Feb. 24 Date for First-in-the-South Presidential Primary
South Carolina's GOP executive committee has voted unanimously to set February 24, 2024, as the date of the state's presidential primary, with the Republican National Committee's approval still needed. The move aims to give GOP White House hopefuls more time to campaign in the first-in-the-South state. This comes as both major parties attempt to solidify their voting calendars ahead of the 2024 nominating process. By setting South Carolina's vote on Feb. 24, candidates would have more time after Nevada votes on Feb. 6 to focus their attention on the state, where support is pivotal for Republicans competing for their party’s nomination.

The Democratic National Committee rules panel has given New Hampshire until Sept. 1 to comply with new rules that leaders there fiercely oppose. But the committee opted not to immediately offer such an extension to another battleground state, Georgia, which hasn't set its date for next year's primary. At issue is President Biden’s plan to strip Iowa’s caucus of its traditional post leading off primary voting and replace it with South Carolina, which would vote on Feb. 3, 2024. Under the new calendar, New Hampshire would vote next, together with Nevada, on Feb. 6, which New Hampshire officials have decried.

The Federalist: Report: U.S. Funded Research Of ‘Covid Patients Zero’ In Wuhan
Report: U.S. Funded Research Of ‘Covid Patients Zero’ In Wuhan
New evidence supports the "lab leak theory" that Covid-19 was created in a Chinese lab with U.S. government funding. FOIA documents reveal that three Wuhan Institute of Virology lab staffers were funded by U.S. taxpayers and may be the virus's "patient zero." FOIA documents from the NIH confirm that Ben Hu, a sick Wuhan lab staffer, reportedly conducted "gain-of-function" experiments funded by the NIAID and USAID. The lab leak theory may implicate Anthony Fauci and Peter Daszak, who downplayed its possibility and denied children their civil liberties.

Fox News: Judge grants DOJ protective order, bars Trump from disclosing alleged evidence in classified documents case
Judge grants DOJ protective order, bars Trump from disclosing alleged evidence in classified documents case
Former President Trump and his defense team have been granted a protective order on evidence provided in the classified documents case. The order states that discovery materials must be kept in the custody and control of defense counsel and only accessed by Trump under direct supervision. The order also specifies that discovery materials cannot be disclosed to the public or news media without the approval of the United States or Court, and within 90 days of the case's conclusion, all discovery materials and copies must be destroyed by defense counsel unless otherwise ordered by the Court.

Special Counsel Jack Smith requested the protective order on the materials as they contain information that could compromise ongoing investigations and identify uncharged individuals. The materials provided to Trump and Nauta, who have no objections to the order, include charges of unlawfully retaining national defense information, conspiring to obstruct justice, obstructing justice, and making false statements. Defendants and defense counsel are also prohibited from disclosing discovery materials or their contents to any person or entity besides those employed to assist in the defense, potential witnesses, counsel for potential witnesses, and other authorized persons to whom the Court may allow for disclosure.

Pro-life Rallies to Celebrate First Anniversary of Dobbs - The New American
Pro-life groups are celebrating the first anniversary of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court on June 24, 2022, with events including a "National Celebrate Life Day" rally at the Lincoln Memorial hosted by Students for Life of America. The group plans to roll out a new vision for the movement: "The 14th Amendment for All," based on the amendment's protection of the right to life. ProLifeAction.org is updating a listing of events celebrating the decision, including marches, rallies, and volleyball games, and Focus on the Family is promoting the "It's Still a Baby" video digitally and on television.

Restore Liberty co-founder Darin Gaub suggests making June "Pro-Life Month" to remember the millions of lives lost while celebrating victories won for babies across the nation. The month would represent national recognition and celebration of life, including protecting and defending the lives of the innocent.

Shut up and Play Ball: Texas Rangers Staying out of the 'Pride' Business
The Texas Rangers are the only Major League Baseball team to not host a Pride Night during Pride Month. However, the team has sponsored LGBTQ+ softball events and has made efforts to be inclusive in hiring practices. While some criticize the team's lack of a Pride Night, others appreciate their commitment to making all fans feel welcome and included. The team's stance may have helped them avoid the controversy faced by the Los Angeles Dodgers, who recently faced backlash for honoring an anti-Catholic group of drag queens. Some Major League Baseball fans just want to watch baseball and not be subjected to political messages.

Poll: 83% of Voters Say FBI Should Make Biden 'Bribery' File Public
A Harvard/HarrisX poll found that 83% of voters think that the FBI should release its informant file claiming that Joe Biden accepted a $5 million bribe from Ukrainian oligarch and Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky. Only 17% think it should be kept secret, and 74% of Democrats also believe it should be made public. The poll also found that only 45% of voters think the FBI is fully investigating corruption allegations against Biden. Republicans are calling to defund the FBI, which they believe is stonewalling their probe into the Biden family.

Uganda: Jihadists Burn Christian Students Alive, Hack Them with Machetes in School Attack
At least 42 people died in a terrorist attack on a boarding school in Uganda this weekend, with 37 of them being students, in what the government says was carried out by the Islamic State-affiliated Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), which it has previously targeted with “Operation Shujaa”. However, some reports are suggesting that outsiders might have used the extremists to disrupt the running of the school to divest a Canadian NGO of control over it. Those attacked were predominantly Christian, and while the ADF has not claimed responsibility, it has previously carried out similar attacks, in keeping with its jihadist agenda.

“Diplomatic Drive-By?” Blinken Gets Short Meeting With Xi As U.S.-China Contacts, Conflicts Continue
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a perfunctory 35-minute meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, aimed at reducing tensions between the two nations. Blinken also met with other high-level Chinese officials, discussing priorities in the bilateral relationship and global and regional issues. He raised concerns with China's alleged unfair economic practices, recent actions against US firms, and the anti-espionage law to come into effect on 1 July. The two countries agreed to follow-on senior engagements in Washington and Beijing to continue open lines of communication, with Chinese Foreign Minister Qin agreeing to schedule a reciprocal visit at a mutually suitable time.

Blinken's visit addressed the strains on US and Chinese business, with a lack of flights between the two countries posing particular problems. Beijing has also sought to boost the economy amid around 20% youth unemployment by attracting foreign investment. While Blinken said there was no change in US policy towards Taiwan, Blinken brought up the Ukraine, another source of tensions between the two nations, while both sides also agreed to work together on key global issues such as climate change, macroeconomic stability, food security, public health and counter-narcotics. Representatives from both sides also welcomed strengthening people-to-people exchanges between students, scholars, and business.

National Review: ESG, Wokeness, and Morality
ESG, Wokeness, and Morality
The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investment "discipline" is facing increasing criticism, particularly in red states, for being political and contrary to capitalism. ESG proponents, including billionaires Mike Bloomberg and Tom Steyer and climate change activist Al Gore, argue that opposing ESG is a failure to understand capitalism. Conservative critics argue that giving value to moral and scientific imperatives goes against the profit principle at the heart of the free market and is an effort to impose a "woke" agenda. A much deeper free-market critique of ESG and its symbiont stakeholder capitalism is based on the belief in property rights and democracy. Stakeholder capitalism and ESG dilute property rights and risk eroding democracy. The ESG ecosystem is worried about pushback from those who oppose it politically and economically and claim that their views on ESG risk restricting economic growth, investment and the willingness of some companies to go public.

Global Economic Surprise Index Plummets
Investor sentiment is bullish with CNN's Fear and Greed Index signaling "extreme greed", despite economic surprise indices declining in the eurozone and the US. Stimulus plans have failed to boost productivity and employment, with the eurozone experiencing poor performance and failing to benefit from the EU Next Generation stimulus plan. Social programs have also failed to improve poverty or social exclusion rates, despite enormous spending of over two trillion euros. Interest-rate hikes have not caused the eurozone's weakened economy, but rather giant government spending plans.

Today in History: 'The Arabs, Persians, and Ferocious Turks Flee' from Nicaea and 'Show Their Backs to the Christians'
Today in history, June 19, 1097, marked the first major victory of the First Crusade over the Seljuk Turks at Nicaea. The Crusade was a response to the atrocities committed in the years following the Seljuks' conquest of Anatolia. The Crusaders quickly laid siege to Nicaea, where the Seljuk sultanate was based. After a long and brutal siege, the Crusaders, led by Raymond of Toulouse with aid from Robert of Flanders, routed the Seljuk army and freed Nicaea from the Seljuks. The Crusade was launched in response to Pope Urban II's call to protect Christians and their sanctuaries from Muslim oppression.

Girl Sues California Doctors For Chopping Off Her Breasts At Age 13
Doctors in California are being sued by 18-year-old Layla Jane for removing her breasts when she was just 13-years-old. Jane identified as a male at the time, but now considers it a "mistaken belief that she was transgender." Jane and her lawyers are suing for "ideological and profit-driven medical abuse," alleging that the doctors didn't question or understand Jane's psychological state. Jane had only attended a 75-minute session with a psychologist and a 30-minute session with a plastic surgeon before her breasts were surgically removed. The doctors didn't inform her about all possible side effects and risks of the procedure. Jane is now undergoing therapy for mental health issues.

Europe breaks against puberty blockers as US becomes 'outlier' in defending treatments for transgender minors
Europeans are discouraging the use of puberty blockers for children with gender dysphoria, citing uncertainties surrounding the treatment. The United Kingdom's NHS has limited their use outside of clinical research. Although countries such as Canada, Australia, and Spain still allow them, some are sounding alarm bells. In contrast, the US medical community largely supports transgender medical treatment and sees the US as becoming an outlier in the discussion. Some GOP lawmakers remain skeptical of the treatment, citing a lack of systematic review that states that there is strong evidence of benefits. Several states have enacted laws banning the use of puberty blockers for minors, and a judge in Indiana recently blocked a law prohibiting puberty blockers and hormone treatments for children that was set to take effect on July 1.

Former Police Commissioner Slams NYC’s Vending Machines for Drug Addicts
Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton criticized NYC's decision to install vending machines that provide drug paraphernalia and fentanyl test strips, warning it encourages drug use. The vending machine in Brownsville offers crack pipes, fentanyl test strips, and NARCAN kits to revive users who overdosed. Overdose deaths in NYC reached record levels in 2021, with fentanyl identified in 80% of the cases. The vending machine plan has attracted criticism for encouraging drug use instead of focusing on rehabilitation. Bratton also highlighted the problem of cannabis and dismissed the idea of sustaining drug addiction rather than seeking to end them.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) responded that firearm manufacturers already supply a lock with every firearms purchase.
