Prince Harry 'suffering' following exit, but 'private matters should stay private in families': Italian prince
Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy believes that Prince Harry is "suffering" from the media attention and isolation from royal life following his exit. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working royals in 2020 and have been vocal about their grievances since moving to California. Harry and Meghan have accused the media of being overly aggressive and hounding them. In addition, Harry has sued the Daily Mirror for allegedly using unlawful techniques "on an industrial scale" to score front-page scoops on his life. Filiberto commented that private matters should stay private in families and he hopes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have a wonderful life.

The Epoch Times: Russia's Putin Rebuts Key Elements of African Peace Plan for Ukraine
Russia's Putin Rebuts Key Elements of African Peace Plan for Ukraine
Russian President Putin met with African leaders seeking to mediate in the war in Ukraine but disappointed them by giving a list of reasons why he considered many of their proposals misguided. The African leaders were looking to establish confidence-building measures, despite Ukraine having recently begun a counteroffensive to push Russian forces out of southern and eastern Ukraine. Putin reiterated his position that Ukraine and its Western allies had started the conflict, while highlighting that the West was responsible for rising global food prices; he also stated that Russian grain exported from Black Sea ports did little to alleviate African food prices because it mainly went to wealthy countries. Putin is willing to hold talks, but only if he is allowed to annex five Ukrainian provinces.

Lawmakers from the Republican and Democratic parties have requested that the Biden administration expand diplomatic relations between Israel and African countries through the Abraham Accords to counter the influence of American adversaries, particularly China and Russia. The Abraham Accords were first signed in 2020 during the Trump administration, securing diplomatic relations between four Muslim-majority countries with Israel. The signatories to the letter have asked for written plans and a strategy to implement this expansion. They argue that it is in the interest of national security and sustainability to expand the Accords and promote normalization with Israel in Africa.
