Breitbart: Poll: Majority of Democrats Want Biden to Debate Robert Kennedy Jr.
The Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group survey found that a majority of Democrats want President Biden to debate Democrat challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Over one-third, 77.5 percent, said that the two should engage in debates. A recent survey from The Economist/YouGov found RFK Jr. seeing a higher favorability rating than fellow presidential candidates on both sides of the political aisle.
The Blaze: ABC anchor asks critical question about Biden over new poll showing Trump's post-indictment support: 'That is a statistical tie'
ABC News anchor Jonathan Karl expressed dismay at a Quinnipiac poll showing Trump and Biden in a statistical tie even after Trump's indictment for obstruction of justice and retaining classified documents. Democratic analyst Donna Brazile stated that the poll demonstrates how divided America is, while Republican Gov. Larry Hogan said it shows that Americans fear a rematch of the 2020 election in 2024. ABC News political director Rick Klein explained that Trump's favorability among Republicans and GOP-leaning independent voters has increased after his indictment, and his rivals' campaigns do not think that there will be an event that ends him.
Breitbart: Nolte: Donald Trump Tops Biden 45% to 39% in Potential Rematch
Former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden by six points in the latest Rasmussen poll conducted after Trump's indictment by the Justice Department. A clear majority of participants see the indictment as politically motivated and interference in the 2024 elections, undermining the credibility of Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland. A majority also thinks that Biden mishandled classified material, and Clinton obstructed justice by acid-washing her emails. 80% of Democrats support the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the president's handling of classified documents. Trump's numbers improved after his arrest, indicating the loss of credibility and influence of the corporate media over the American public.

Spectator USA: Flashback: Meghan Markle gets staffers to conduct podcast interviews for her
Meghan Markle's podcast series with Spotify has ended, with rumors emerging that some interviews were done by other staffers and edited in afterward. This revelation, reported by PodNews, reflects what journalist Cockburn had stated seven months earlier. He had previously noted that Meghan may not actually speak to her interviewees, with one episode featuring Sophie Grégoire Trudeau recorded in separate studios. Along with rumors of bullying staff, Meghan's podcast controversy seems to lend some truth to those who had previously criticized her.

The Kakhovka Dam in Ukraine was bombed, causing the river to flood downstream. 17 people were killed and 31 are missing. Emergency supplies have been provided but aid workers are being prevented from helping flooded areas by Russian forces.

Forbes: Amazon, Starbucks, Others Vow To Help 250,000 Refugees In Europe Get Jobs
Dozens of international companies, including Amazon, Adidas, and Marriott, have pledged to train and hire a quarter of a million refugees over the next three years as a response to the ongoing crises in eastern Europe and the Middle East. Amazon has promised to take on 5,000 refugees across Europe for jobs in delivery and fullfilment and will provide legal support and training, whilst the companies grouped together have said they will directly employ nearly 14,000 refugees and help hundreds of thousands find work. The United Nations reported last week that persecution, conflict, violence, and human rights violations caused 108.4 million people to be forcibly displaced in 2022.
Spectator USA: Why Xi met Blinken
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a 30-minute audience with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, a sign that both countries want to arrest the downward spiral of US-China relations since the balloon incident. Blinken had previously held constructive conversations with Qin Gang and Wang Yi before he met with Xi. The meeting discussed the war in Ukraine and allegations of the US seeking to economically contain China, which Xi denied. The meeting is a glimmer of how a competitive but not dangerous rivalry between the US and China could look.
The Epoch Times: Blinken Had 'Robust Conversation' With China's Xi, Wrapping Up a Rare Trip to Beijing Amid Criticism
US State Secretary Antony Blinken had "robust conversations" with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and other top diplomats in Beijing, but there is little indication that the visit will resolve issues such as China's handling of Taiwan, Russia's aggression towards Ukraine, and human rights violations in Xinjiang, Tibet, and Hong Kong. Despite raising concerns and discussing economic policies, China has not agreed to move forward with bilateral exchanges on the military level. Some experts have suggested that the visit serves Chinese interests, as it prevents further decline in US-China relations and allows China to maintain foreign investment amid a shaky post-COVID economic recovery.

Fox News: Here's why you can't buy a compact Chevy pickup in the USA
Ram is reportedly considering joining the compact truck market in the US with a version of its new Rampage, while General Motors (GM) has explained why it doesn't offer compact pickups in the country. GM sells compact pickups in other countries but believes US customers are better served with a body-on-frame pickup truck, according to Mike MacPhee, the director of Chevrolet truck marketing. The focus is on the midsize Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, and a next-generation of full-size trucks, including electric models, with the company gathering feedback on a mini electric pickup.

The Blaze: This poll reveals a SHOCKING truth
A recent survey shows that Americans are becoming more discouraged with Christianity and religion in general, with only half sure that God exists and 34% never attending church. Many on the right are drifting toward and praising Islam due to their loss of hope in Christianity. However, Glenn Beck believes that the solution is not teaming up with those who support Sharia law, but practicing "love thy neighbor" Christianity and not denying the truth about evil in our society.
Breitbart: Report: Nigerian Jihadists Slaughter 700 Christians as ‘Farewell’ to Buhari
Islamist Fulani militants have killed around 700 Christians in Nigeria in May 2023 as outgoing president Muhammadu Buhari prepares to leave office, according to a report by a human rights group. The report states that 1,100 Christians were killed by Nigerian Government-backed Islamic Jihadists between 12 April and 12 June 2023. A further 2,150 Christians have been killed by non-state actors/Nigerian Government security forces in the past 160 days, while 1,400 have been abducted. The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law has accused the Buhari regime of operating a government "for the destruction of Easterners and Christians", and of "systematic annihilation of Christians".

While the Democrats have condemned the acts, the investigation follows a foreign national's ploy of mailing a ricin-tainted letter to President Donald Trump earlier this year.
Fox News: Couple allegedly burned Marine ex-husband's body in 'sophisticated' murder plot

The pair stand accused of carjacking with intent to cause death and serious bodily harm, as well as conspiracy. The Orsinis allegedly planned and executed the murder with “burner phones, stealing and dumping Kraft’s car, and, ultimately, disposing of Kraft’s body,” according to U.S. Attorney Damian Williams. The couple's phones and Kraft's phones pinged in the same area around the time of Kraft's death, which is still a mystery.

The Epoch Times: Help! I Get Clumps of Crystals in My Homemade Laundry Detergent
Reader Pat asks Everyday Cheapskate about crystallized lumps appearing at the bottom of homemade detergent. Mary explains this happens because borax and washing soda can clump easily when exposed to humidity and heat. Though slightly annoying, the crystals are completely harmless, and their cleaning properties are not affected. To alleviate the problem, Mary suggests mixing with cold water instead of hot tap water and breaking up the lumps with a wooden spoon. She also recommends storing borax and washing soda in an airtight container to keep them from being exposed to moisture.
