San Diego also considered a proposal to ban homeless encampments from public property if shelter options are available. The proposal passed in a 5-4 vote.

Fox News: New York DA Alvin Bragg sued after refusing to release Trump prosecution records

The Heritage Foundation and other groups are suing Bragg under claims of coordinating or communicating with the parties. Bragg believes that Trump falsified New York business records to "conceal damaging information and unlawful activity from American voters" during and after the 2016 elections.
The Heritage Foundation alleges that Bragg and his team retained pro-bono assistance from major law firms that specialize in white-collar litigation and is requesting that the documents be declared "subject to release under the New York Freedom of Information Law" and to bar Bragg's team from seeking costs and fees. The group says that Bragg stonewalled their requests for communication between the parties. Bragg's office did not respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Susan Rice, who was a former National Security Advisor to President Barack Obama, previously served on the board of directors for Internews, the California-based non-profit partnering with the programme.

Schmidt won the auction for the 276-foot Alfa Nero after attempts to block it in court failed, although the High Court of the West Indies island did approve a judicial review of ownership. The yacht features a spa, Jacuzzi, on-board helipad, and a 40-foot infinity pool. There were two ownership claims raised just prior to the auction, but the sale went ahead and Schmidt has a week to complete the transaction.
