Along with medical professionals, the film features five young people who have de-transitioned, who report negative life-altering experiences. Producers of the film say AMC caved to the pressure of a de-platforming campaign. Red State: The New Oscars Qualifying Rules for 'Best Picture' Have to Be Seen to Be Believed
The New Oscars Qualifying Rules for 'Best Picture' Have to Be Seen to Be Believed
Wake up! The Oscars have implemented new qualifying rules for ‘Best Picture’ that prioritize diversity standards over actual quality of art. A movie must meet two out of four categorical standards that demand diversity both on screen and on set to be eligible for the award. The standards promote underrepresented racial or ethnic groups, women, LGBTQ+ and people with different abilities, indicating blatant discriminatory tripe meant to relive excellence in exchange for overtly woke standards destroying the actual point of film-making.

Gataway Couple: People Are Loving These Bug Repellent String Lights
People Are Loving These Bug Repellent String Lights
Looking to enjoy the outdoors without being bitten by bugs? The Tiki Bitefighter bug-repellent string lights may be just what you need. These string lights provide a cozy atmosphere while also repelling mosquitoes and other insects with replaceable, built-in repellent pods. However, be aware that they can still annoy your neighbors with their light, and the pods are not refillable and can be expensive to replace.

If you are not a fan of string lights or want additional bug protection, there are other methods you can try, such as wearing proper clothing, keeping food put away, and carrying bug repellent with you. The Thermacell bug repellent system is also a popular product for keeping mosquitoes away. Overall, the Tiki Bitefighter bug-repellent string lights may be worth the investment if you are a mosquito magnet, but be prepared for the cost of replacing the pods and potential annoyed neighbors.

ACLU Is Upset That a Child Rapist and Double Murderer Was Executed as a Man
Florida executed Duane Owen, a man convicted of raping and murdering a 14-year-old girl and a mother of two. The American Civil Liberties Union berated the state for refusing Owen's "transition" to female, claiming the state violated Owen's right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment. The ACLU's opposition to capital punishment was barely mentioned in their statement. Owen was found guilty of being a sexually sadistic killer, and the case highlights how divisive transgender issues can be.
